Meeting Friends

Days went by as athy, lucas and Arius get closer  as athy visits them almost daily.. Also them going out.. chatting about random things.. Lucas told his uncle about athy and his uncle was so happy that lucas chose the right person to be his partner

"athy will be perfect for you" he said

Then one day lucas's  close friends ijekeil, stephen and max came to visit him. after his brother's death lucas didn't talked  to anyone.. They  also gave  him some space to recover.. but they were  worried about him.. so they went to meet him after lucas calling them.. they were so happy by  the call from  lucas.

he never approached them first, they were the one who dragged him along  always.. but this change in lucas was because of Arius as he pestered lucas saying he wants  to see his uncle's friends

They   don't know about Arius so they  came thinking of  spending time with lucas.

they bought beers and snacks to enjoy. The minute lucas opened the door the house become chaotic stephen and max are always fun type.. their character is  so carefree that lucas and ijekeil have to give their piece of mind to them frequently.. they were being close friends from high school..

lucas being a genius, he would  always skip classes and hng out with them... Even when he  was sent abroad for higher studies  he never lost contact  with his friends, though he may not be a conversation starter, he tease them so much that their  meetings are  always filled with fun.

Max stopped in the hall when he see Arius who was watching them standing in front of his room

"woah..!!! look at this cute kid..!!! . he looks soo much like lucas..!! if only  his eyes were red... he will exactly looks like baby lucas"

He pinched his cheeks and carried him in his arms . ijekeil give lucas a ' can you explain what's going on.? ' look. 

then lucas told  the whole story to his gang, they were  silent for few minutes then they appreciated lucas that he made a good decision.

" you know what  lucas.. I am so touched.. I never know you are this kind..  our lucas finally become a man and a family man at that "

max said in a dramatic tone shedding  fake tears and got a smack from lucas in the head.

" it's looks like lucas love you so much  that he even agreed to marraige"

Stephen told Arius and patted his head after hearing that Arius is  so happy and smiled innocently

" wahh!! my heart .. you cutie.. don't smile like that.. I think my heart will came out.. why are you so cute?"

stephen exaggerated touching his chest and the Arius  laughed

" so who is that mysterious girl that made our lone wolf  lucas  agree to marry her... I never thought you will get  married.. I thought you will be single forever.. and on top that.. Even before  me lucas  "

Ijekeil  said and laughed ( ijekeil was engaged to jennete and will  marry  her next year)

" you know her.. she was your fiancees's cousin .. Athanasia " lucas replied nonchalantly.

Ijekiel was surprised to hear the news

" what..?!! that athanasia..?! the one who everyone calls queen of  cosmetics industry.. that girl... Dude  are you serious.. ?!!   Do you know how many boys were head over heels for her outside..?!! she never dated anyone before and always kindly rejects proposals.. how on the earth did you manage to make her agree.. ?!! Wait first how did you know her?!! "

ijekeil talked nonstop in shock.

Max and stephen have no idea what he is talking about, they don't know anything other than gaming.  ' is she that beautiful... that so  many boys  fall for her? 'they thought getting  curious to see her.

Before lucas  would say anything..

"she is  my eemo"  Arius said proudly and smiled

all the boys looked at Arius   at the same time 

" look at him already calling her eemo"  max said and chuckled.

" not already she is  really his eemo" Lucas said

"what..? Dude  you secretly married her before telling us..?!! you traitor!" stephen teased lucas

"tsk.. hey dummy.. she is  my sister in law's sister... his eemo"

lucas said  , then they turned  towards ijekeil in disbelief and he simply nodded a yes

"She didn't come to lawrence bro 's marraige because she was studying abroad at that time and can't make  it that's why none of you had seen  her.. I saw her once at our engagement.. she was jennete' s cousin and like  close friend. I thought she would be headstrong proud  girl   once I heard about her   achievements   but she is  actually easy going and bright person she took initiative to talk to me.. she is  a good person she   often ask about me to jennete  " ijekeil  boasted 

" After hearing everything I am really curious to  see her now.. do you have her picture..? " stephen asked Arius. Arius was about to show him but max stopped

" no.. don't give spoiler.. I want to see her in person "

" I am sure they will almost faint or over react when they see athy" Ijekeil whispered to lucas and chuckled  to that lucas was simply smiling . Ijekeil was surprised

' lucas looks alive  today.. must be thanks to  these two' he thought   smiling happily .

"So.. when is your  wedding..? you have to get  married  before airing of  the case right? " max asked 

"next week" lucas replied  in nonchalant tone

Three of them become  silent.. Tic..tic.. Tic... then shouted in unison

"whattt.... ?!!! "

"lucas you crazy punk..!! who will tell his friends about wedding  just one week before .. ?"

"you traitor"

they all started shouting..

"calm down..., she also don't like crowd .. so we decided to keep it simple with few people.. It's an intimate wedding. "

"Are you two match made in heaven or what?!!  How come you two hate crowd  and don't want crowd even on their wedding ?!!   You two are so weirdos  " stephen said and sighed

"OK, so we are that few person on your side right? "Kiel asked

" yes plus my uncle and Arius "lucas said and smiled

They  all started laughing

" yeah.. what we are expecting..? this is lucas.. he  never act like normal people this lunatic "  stephen said

Then.. they all get hyped about  the up coming wedding and started dragging lucas and Arius for shopping.. lucas was tired as hell and Arius was enjoying everything

" uncles are really good persons  Arius like them all"

he said and the  three of them were  in cloud nine... lucas just laughed hearing that.. That day was full of laughter.. . . Athy also called her friends anna, ces  and jennete  and told them about all the events... jennete already know half of them since she is her cousin.. anna and ces were so surprised by her sudden decision but they understood  her situation and felt  proud of her for  taking responsibility when needed

"  athy I am really worried about  you.. but I am proud of you.. I am worried because your marriage seems rushed and wasn't out of love but I admire your sense of  responsibility"

ces said with worried expression

"don't worry ces you know me...   I don't know myself  if I ever fall in love or not.. and if you are  talking  about marraige out of love... This is also like that... I love Arius so much.. he was the only family left in the world for me now.. so I am marrying for him" athy  said with a smile

" athy tell me about your fiance.. how does he look? How is his character? Tell me about everything?"  anna asked

"you are always excited when it comes to boys anna" athy  said  chuckling

"well.. He is such a tease  but  good guy .. He is responsible.. and reliable person  I think... It just that.. whenever I am with him.. I feel safe"  she said looking down smiling..

Since  none of her friends responded.. she looked up to see her friends looking at her suprised

"what happened..? why  do you all are like this ?"

Athy asked confused . They were silent for few minutes

"finally....!!! Wow...!!! Yeah.. I can die in peace now..!!Thanks God..!!! "

anna said  in dramatic  tone as  ces and jennete were happily smiling .

"what are you  guys talking about?" athy asked confused

Jennete placed  her hand on  athy's shoulder

" athy dear... congrats... it looks like you  finally fell  for a guy! " 

she said and started clapping.

"wow athy... it's your first love!!!  We should  celebrate  our  ice princess athy... who never accepted a proposal before from any boys... finally falling  in love... just who is this guy who made her fell for him...?!! I am dying  to see him now..!! come on spill the beans... show me his photo.. no.. no..I want to meet him in person... let's go to his house... get up "

anna said overjoyed. athy sighed

" calm down anna, guys... just what the hell are you all talking about..? when did I said I fell for him ? " athy asked

" you didn't told us but it's written all over your face.. when you talk about him... you are blushing athy... it was our time seeing you blush.. you never show your  true feelings... you always smile even if you are  hurt so we are just so happy that you are finally  expressing yourself " jennet told in  emotional tone

Athy  stared at her  surprised

'am I blushing?!!! do  I like lucas?!!! She was confused and deep in thoughts  till ces shouted and brought her back to senses

" oh God..!!! we forget  about the most important thing..!!!. guys what to do now?!!!   We are  doomed "

she shouted worriedly

" what..?!!"

"what happened..?!! "

everyone asked

" we can't afford to  waste a single minute... get your asses up right this second... we are gonna go right now " she said Checking  her handbag for necessities

"where we are going? "

jennete and athy asked in unison anna who catch up to ces shouted

" where else do you think..? shopping girls!!! We have a bride to be girl here.. do you all forget that? !!" she said making jennete make a 'i am ready face'

Then they also went shopping all day chatting... taking selfies.. Spending their day fun filled

  While shopping lucas and athy thought 'it really feels good to have friends who care about... worry for us.. and make us happy.. looking at it like this.. my friends are also family to me' they  thought and are  happy to have them 💞
