jiwoo's driving the car and i look outside my window, it's almost dark and i'm worn out.

"how was it in the states, was it cool? did you make any friends?"

"no i was alone and i didn't make friends. worst experience ever -10/10."

my sister pats my shoulder and laughs,

"good thing it was only for a year."

my parents last year wanted me to go outdoors so they sent me to the states for a year, i didn't even do anything other than go outside to get food and stuff.

"is mom and dad gonna be home?"

"yeah i'm pretty sure."

i look to my sister's face and gasp,

"jiwoo do you have a boyfriend?!"

she looks at me in shock,

"how did you know?"

"your neck."

she looks in the mirror and analyzes her neck,

"fuckfuckfuckfuc- do you have any makeup?"

"um yeah i guess?"

i look through my bag and fine a small amount of makeup and quickly pats some onto jiwoo's neck,

"your so gross unnie!!" i mimic

"never say that again."

i exhaustingly make my way to the house clutching onto my suitcase. i open the door and see my mom and dad throw confetti into the air.

"WELCOME BACKKK!"

i giggle and gently drop my suitcase and walk over to my parents and hug them,

"aw thank you mom, dad."

"sit down let's cut you some cake."

my mom drags me to the table and i sit down next to jiwoo and we all talk.

"i didn't do anything dad, it was useless really, never send me back."

he puts a thumbs down and i laugh,

"enough talking let's eat." my mom sets the plates down.

"go to sleep then you have a long day tomorrow." mom pushes me upstairs.
