Apologise.

I woke up early to go get my nails done with Sarah and Kie for midsummers. I picked Sarah and Kie up while we gossiped about last night.

Sarah explained that her and John b went on a little mission thing to the main land to get something from the archives which can help us find the gold .

Kie and I told Sarah about what happened last night and she was in shock that Rafe would help me. I laughed it off but I was too .

"I really need to get my hair dyed, I need highlights desperately." Sarah whined. "Okay we can get our hair done as well because I need to get rid of these dead ends." Kie said while running a hand through her hair. I laughed and we headed inside the nail salon.

I chose french tips with small pink hearts on my ring finger. Kie got violet french tips while Sarah got white acrylics.

We quickly paid and headed for the hair salon. "What are you guys wearing?" I asked while groaning. "My mom picks out the worst dresses for me, I'm wearing a violet silk dress. I literally look like shit." Kie said in a whiney tone. "Shut up, I'm sure you'll look amazing!" Sarah said with a smile. "Rose is making me wear a white dress, I look like I'm going to my wedding and she wants me to go with Topper. Like hello? We broke up ages ago." Sarah said dramatically. "Omg what are you gonna do?" Kie asked while Turing to sarah. "I'm gonna have to just smuggle John b in." Sarah said with a smirk. I laughed at this and we all sat down in the seats waiting for the hairdressers.

Sarah and I got highlights while Kie got a trim and some light brown highlights, we all looked amazing but we spent so much time getting our hair and nails done it was nearly time to go.

We quickly drove back to mine and I threw on a light pink silk dress that have a slit from the top of my thigh to my ankle, it had a deep v line neck which showed off more than what I had planned but I didn't mind. I did some light makeup and put some loose curls in my hair.

Kiara wore a beautiful violet dress with thin straps we helped pin her curly hair into a loose messy bun. She put on some mascara and lipgloss and slid on her heels and she looked amazing. I gave her a flower headpiece and we placed it carefully onto her head. She truly did look beautiful.

Sarah wore a white flowy dress with a beautiful flower crown. She put on a small amount of makeup and slid on her heels. We helped straighten her hair and we all smiled at how amazing we looked.

"Okay but you guys look amazing." I said with a smile.

"Jules. Look at you!! You're gorgeous." Sarah said with a smile.

"I'm just gonna say it. We're all beautiful tonight." Kie said with a smile.

I sprayed some perfume onto my neck, chest and wrists and passed the bottle to Kie who did the same who then passed it to Sarah who did the same.

"What do you say we drink a little before we go?" I said with a smirk. The two girls nodded as we went downstairs, walking was still uncomfortable, but that was expected.

I went into the large kitchen and pulled out an unopened bottle of vodka. The two girls smiled and we took it up to my room.

We played a drinking game for a few minutes before my mom shouted for us.

"Girls! We gotta go." My mother said.

We quickly joined her downstairs and got into the cab she ordered.

The drive was nice but maybe it was the buzz from the alcohol that enjoyed it so much. I hated seeing my mom act like a loving mother but I just wanted to chill with my friends .

We arrived at the party and Sarah had to go off and join her family to do their little walk in.

I walked in with my mom who was critical of my body in the dress I chose."You look like a hooker." She whispered while we were walking in. "Thanks mom. That's what I was going for." I said sarcastically. My mother rolled her eyes before making her way to the bar.

I walked through the crowd and saw Pope working with his dad Hayward. I walked towards them since I didn't know many other people. "Hey pope!" I said happily. "Jules we need to talk." Pope said with a stern tone."Yeah, what's up?" I asked ."JJ got arrested, I sunk Toppers boat but JJ took the blame, I don't know what to do. Your dad is going to kill him, can you please let me know if he's okay?" Pope said with concern. "JJ got arrested?" I said with shock."Yeah I know it's my fault but can you please let me know what's going to happen to him?" Pope asked with sadness in his voice."It's not your fault, I'll help JJ with whatever is going on, don't worry." I said pulling Pope into a hug. I really hope JJ is okay. "Pope! Less talking more working." Mr Hayward said with a smile. "Do you need a hand sir?" I said with a smile. "No thank you honey, you enjoy your night." Hayward said kindly. I waved goodbye to Pope before making my way towards the bar.

"Hey, Jules can we talk?" I heard the familiar voice of Rafe ask. "What do you want?" I snapped ."To talk." He said with a flat smile. "Okay." I said while walking towards him. "Look, I'm so sorry. I was super coked out, I know it's not an excuse but I didn't mean to hurt Pope." Rafe said with a guilty look on his face. I rolled my eyes and stepped closer to him. "Coke or not, you hurt him. You watched and let Topper beat him twice. I want to forgive you but it's not my place, you need to apologise to JJ and Pope." I said before walking away. I looked over my shoulder to see Rafe staring at me with a guilty look on his face. I felt bad but he didn't deserve my pity after everything he has done to my friends .

I walked over to the bar and ordered a shot. I downed it before asking for another round. I must've had about 5 shots before I heard my brothers voice. "I'll explain later!" He said while walking towards the crowd.

I quickly ran up to him. "JJ? Oh my god are you okay?" I asked while pulling him into a tight hug. "Yeah I'm okay." He said with a flat smile. "What happened to your face?" I asked with concern. "Dad, you know. Nothing that hasn't happened before." He said with a sad smile. "I'm so so sorry JJ, I should have been there. How much do you owe?" I asked while holding his hands tightly. "3o grand.. you can imagine dads reaction." JJ said sarcastically."I have a shoot coming up and some savings, I'll pay for this and help you out, but you gotta come live with me in return." I said while hugging him tightly. "I can't ask you to do that Jules." JJ said while shaking his head. "You didn't ask, but I insist." I said with a smile.

JJ disappeared into the large crowd after awhile of speaking with me, he was at work so it was nice enough of him to be speaking to me.

I was watching the crowd and seeing if I knew anyone when I saw Rafe speaking with Pope. I nearly spat out my drink when I saw them shake hands. "What the fuck.." I muttered to myself. I watched as Rafe walked back towards the crowd as if he was searching for someone.

I was looking around for my brother to see if he was still alive and he hadn't gotten in trouble except I couldn't see him. I entered the large building and saw Topper, Kelce and Rafe chasing JJ.

I followed them into a locker room and watched as Kelce pushed JJ. "Hey man, what are you doing in the locker room?" Kelce asked with a grin . "Wow that's a cute outfit." JJ said sarcastically while trying to run. "Shut up." Topper said while approaching JJ.Kelce held JJ while Topper pretended to be swinging a club at JJ. I watched as Rafe stood in the corner looking anxious. "Hey man, leave 'em alone." Rafe said while walking between Topper and JJ. "Okay, could you please stop talking? It's very disrespectful when I'm trying to hit a ball." Topper said while ignoring Rafe."Learn your etiquette, my friend." Topper joked."Come on man, he's had enough." Rafe said while trying to push Topper back. Once again Topper ignored him . "Your face looks really bad. You're starting to look a lot more like your dad." Topper said with a grin.

I was about to step in when I saw JJ spit and it landed on Rafe's cheek. "What the fuck man?" He said while wiping his cheek. "Oh shit." Topper said with a laugh. I saw Rafe back up and clench his fists just as the lights began to flash on and off and a security guard came in.

"Is there a problem gentlemen?" The guard asked eyeing JJ.

"Uh no sir- Actually no there is an issue, we got criminal trespass in progress here, blatant disrespect for private property. I'm in violation for all kinds of shit sir. But these power puff girls found me, sir, and they're about to take me away. And that's what you should do, escort me out of here." My brother said with a smirk.

The security guard grabbed hold of JJ and began to drag him out when Topper whispered something in Rafe's ear. "Tell your sister she'd look good in my bed!" Rafe yelled which in response caused JJ to run over and punch Rafe straight in the face.

"What the fuck?" I said loudly."I didn't mean that, I'm sorry Jules." Rafe said while wiping his bleeding lip. I watched as the security guard dragged my brother out."Hey! No stop! That's my brother, he has a right to be here!" I yelled .

"I invited him here, I'm a member of this club!" Kie shouted.

"Workers of the world unite, throw off our Chains! Rixons cove, let's go!" JJ yelled loudly. I couldn't help but giggle as I followed after my brother and watched as Pope, Kie and Sarah did the same.

Two days had passed since midsummers and luckily my mom was blackout so doesn't remember what I done.

I accidentally tore my stitches after midsummers and I needed to rest so while the Pogues were digging and searching for the gold I was busy trying not to move too much to avoid having to get my side restitched . The pogues had found the gold but only had a small amount because the crazy bat that lived there caught them. Thankfully she's blind . I wished to be there with my brother and my friends but I really don't want to get stitched up again because that shit hurts.

I was relaxing in the lounge watching some Netflix when I heard our doorbell ring. I shimmied off the velvet couch before making my way towards the door, I opened it to see Rafe.

"Ugh, what do you want?" I asked rudely. "Jules, please can we talk?" He asked ."Every time I think you're changing you go and say some out of hand shit." I said while running a hand through my hair. "The other night, I apologised to Pope and then Topper was winding me up saying some shit about you, and I had some coke before so I said that. Look I really like you Jules. You're so kind and beautiful and I really like being around you. I just want you to tell me what I can do to make this right." Rafe said while standing closer to me. "What?" I said while looking at him. Rafe Cameron likes me?

"Come in." I said standing out of the way to let him come in.

"Thank you." He muttered while walking inside.

"Sit." I said pointing at the couch. He looked at me for a moment before taking a seat on the couch.

"I like you Jules. I know I fucked up, but I really do like you. I've never felt this way before about anyone." He said while looking at his hands.

"Shut up." I said before leaning in and kissing him. I'm not sure why I did that, but I did and I don't regret it at all. He deepened the kiss and I was surprised by how soft his lips were. I pulled away and leaned back onto the couch.

"I want you to apologise to JJ and the rest of the pogues. Then we can talk about us." I said with a shrug.

I saw Rafe blushing slightly as he nodded. "I will. I already made things right with Pope, you think you could get the others to come around so I can apologise?" He asked .

I sighed and nodded. "Okay, but I mean it. I want a proper apology to all of them." I said with a flat smile.

"Yeah I understand." He said while leaning back into the couch.

"Wanna watch a movie while we wait?" I asked while picking up the remote.

"Uh yeah sure." He said with a smile. I flicked through the movies and clicked on scream. "I don't care if you don't like it, I do." I said while pressing play. Rafe laughed and nodded ."I like this movie don't worry."

"I wasn't." I shrugged.

I moved closer to Rafe admiring his eyes and tan skin. He was beautiful, but not like when you call a girl beautiful he's more like when you call the ocean beautiful or maybe a sunset.

We watched about thirty minutes of the movie before I heard a knock at the door. I slid off the couch and made my way over to the door. I opened the door to see Pope, John b, Sarah, Kie and JJ.

"Someone wants to apologise." I said with a smile.

"This must be a miracle." Sarah said sarcastically. "Did he apologise to you?" JJ asked . "He did." I said while nodding. I invited them in and the group made their way towards the lounge. All five of them climbed onto the four seater couch to avoid sitting beside Rafe. I laughed slightly at this and sat beside Rafe.

"I just wanted to say I'm sorry, I've been out of line lately. I'm trying to fix myself. I'm really sorry." Rafe said while pressing his lips together and playing with his ring.

"You're good man, I told you at midsummers." Pope said with a nod.

Rafe smiled flatly at him while waiting for the others response.

"You didn't really do shit to me so I don't really care." John b said with a shrug.

"I'm glad you realise it was wrong." Kie said with a smile.

"I still can't believe you're apologising." Sarah said with a laugh.

"If my sister forgives you. I suppose I can too." JJ said with a nod.

"Thank you, for uh listening and forgiving me." Rafe said while playing with his ring.

"What I've done lately has been wrong. And even though I don't exactly like the pogues, it doesn't mean I have to hate you." He said awkwardly.

"Oh fuck man, was that scripted? It sounded terrible." JJ said while laughing. I watched as Rafe's lips curled into a smile .

"Only a little." Rafe said with a small laugh. "Alright is that all?" Kie said while standing up. "Yeah." Rafe said quietly. "We're gonna leave you two to talk." Kie said while walking towards the door. "Come on dipshits" Kie called out. Sarah wriggled her eyebrows before walking out to join Kie .JJ gave me a smile before leaving along with the rest of the boys.

Soon enough it was just Rafe and I. "I'm proud of you." I said with a smile. "See? I'm not that bad." He said with a shrug. "That's debatable." I said while sitting closer to him. He smiled before nodding. "That's fair." He laughed . "Okay, so what did you wanna talk about?" I asked looking at him . "I wanna take you on a date. I wanna start over, you get to know the real me." He said with a smile.

I bit my lip thinking about his offer. "If you break my heart Rafe Cameron. I swear to god." I said while laughing. "Alright." I said with a nod. "Yeah?" He asked shocked. "No I was just saying it for fun." I said sarcastically. Rafe laughed and nodded . "Okay can I pick you up tomorrow night at 7?" He said with a smirk. "Yeah, you realise I live next door. It's not really picking me up." I said with a shrug. "I'm trying to be romantic and you're ruining it." He said while laughing. "One more thing. If you do coke while with me or before you see me, I'm done." I said while moving closer and placing a kiss on his lips. He kissed me back and pulled me closer. He pulled away for a moment. "I promise I won't do coke before I see you, or when I'm with you." He said before returning to the kiss.

We watched the end of our movie and ordered some food before it got too late. I told him I'd see him tomorrow and he smiled down at me and nodded. "I'll see you then." He said while placing a kiss onto my forehead.

I think this chapter was lowkey boring. But next chapter won't be I promise!
