9 | Run away

Taehyung was at school sitting on the field reading a book, he was a little early as he did not like being in the cave much. He himself knew it was not safe for him but there was not much he could do about it.

He sat down on the field reading his books about omega's, this is what his presentation was going to be about. He wanted to change people's perspectives on omega's he has never met another omega but one day he hopes there is another one out there.

Taehyung did feel more content with life than what he use to, he had a mate who he thought he would have never met. Jungkook is the nicest alpha he has ever met and was surprised to find out he was a true blood.

He did not think he would be okay with being around an alpha especially a trueblood but with Jungkook it was just the same he was a little nervous but as soon as they started to talk everything was different and now he loved being around him.

He hated being away from him, but it is what it is- he has always wanted a mate and wanted to feel or know what love feels like and he finally gets to experience that.

The bell had rang and Taehyung stood up and dusted himself off walking to the building and heading towards his class. People were around the halls walking to class and Jungkook was no where in sight which made Taehyung feel a little down.

He walked into class to see everyone in class he put his head down and walked to his seat, he could not smell his mate which made him feel less safe. The teacher was sitting on the chair by her desk waiting for a few more students.

He looked around to see not even Jungkook's friends were in class, Taehyung's head shot up when he heard the door open.

He felt his heart flutter when he saw Jungkook walk through the door everyone's eyes were on the true blood, whispers filled the room and people were trying to get his attention- mostly the girls.

To Taehyung it felt like a kdrama, everyone wanted one male but the male everyone wanted, wanted him and to him if he had confidence he would flip his hair right now.

Jungkook spotted Taehyung at the back of the class by the window and smiled, he walked towards him ignoring all the eyes on him.

Taehyung's eyes widened seeing Jungkook walk towards him- he knew everyone's eyes followed Jungkook. The alpha smiled once he reached the omega and smiled, he bent down and placed a kiss on Taehyung's cheek.

Taehyung blushed when he felt the true bloods lips on his skin, he heard the whispers but he ignored them he was just focused on Jungkook.

"Goodmorning pup" Jungkook said smiling as he walked to his desk at the back, Jungkook himself also heard the whispers but did not pay attention to it.

"Alright class lets get started with class" The teacher said as everyone went quite.

"I want everyone to get into a circle and explain what they're doing their presentation on" The teacher says as everyone stands up from their chairs and moves the desks, moving their chairs to the middle of the class.

Everyone sat down and started to talk, everyone talked about what they're doing their presentations on and it was now Jungkook's turn.

Everyone was silent and the only thing that was heard was Jungkook's voice.

"I am doing my presentation on true blood alpha's and the aspects of one and their experiences" Jungkook said and pointed to the person next to him

As people were talking and it was getting closer to him, he panicked.

He felt a nudge on his shoulder by Jimin and he looks up to him and looked around to see everyone's eyes on him.

Taehyung hummed and placed his hands above the other digging his nails to his palm.

"I am d-doing my presentation on o-omega's and the t-things they go through also other sides to them" Taehyung says looking around the room to see some girls and guys laughing

"Why would we care what omega's go through, its their fault with how they're seen- doing a presentation on omega's is so pointless, yes theyre rare but they dont have a purpose" A girl said

Taehyung felt tears stream down his face at her words "Why are you even cryin-" She starts but gets cut off when Taehyung grabs his bag and runs out of the room. He ignores the male calling his name and runs.

He runs to the boys restroom and closes the door, he see's no one there and fell against the wall, letting all his tears fall.

Jungkook eyes were red he was so angry at her words and how she made his mate cry, he stood up but Jimin stood in front of him when he heard everyone's whimpers.

Jimin is the only one who can calm Jungkook down.

"She is not important, go find your mate" Jimin whispers and watches as Jungkook's eyes go back to brown.

As soon as Jungkook felt in control again he grabbed his own bag and walked out of the room, he rushed down the hallway and froze, he sniffed the air and tried to sniff out his mate.

He followed the scent and walked towards the males bathroom and walked into the male's restroom, he heard his mates sobs and threw the door open- catching Taehyung's attention, he made eye contact with Taehyung who was crying.

He let out a few more sobs that broke Jungkook's heart, he rushed towards him and bent down pulling him into his embrace.

"Let it out baby" Jungkook said rubbing Taehyung's back as he felt the omega hide his face in his chest.

"You're okay my love" Jungkook whispers

"Please dont listen to anything she said, you're so perfect in my eyes pup- you're all I have ever wanted" Jungkook whispers.

Jungkook stayed there on the floor letting Taehyung hug him until only sniffles were heard.

Jungkook lifted Taehyung up and placed him on the sink, he placed both hands on the omega's cheeks and rubbed his tears away. "You okay pup?" Jungkook asks receiving a little nod and sniffle from his mate.

"Please dont listen to her, you're perfect" Jungkook whispers rubbing the side of Taehyung's slim arms.

"T-thank you g-gukkie" Taehyung stuttered wiping the remaining tears on his face.

"You're welcome baby" Jungkook said smiling when he saw Taehyung blush.

"I just cant help but to get upset when people always have something to say about omega's when they have never actually gotten to know one. All people do is judge, judge, judge"

"You have ever right to get angry and upset love, I would if I was you as well. I want you to know that your feelings are valid" Jungkook whispered.

The bell had gone and it was time for the next class, Jungkook grabbed Taehyung's thigh's helping him off the counter.

Jungkook leant down to peck his cheek "I know this class we dont have together but let me walk you" Jungkook said letting Taehyung wrap his arms around his own as they walk outside.

Jungkook walked Taehyung to his class ignoring all the looks and whispers that were received, they were outside Taehyung's class and Jungkook placed his lips on Taehyung's cheek.

"Enjoy your class pup" Jungkook said walking off

Taehyung smiled and entered his art class, he liked this class everyone in there was super nice to him and he had Jimin and Jin with him- he saw Jimin sitting on his desk waiting for him.

"Tae!" He heard Jimin say and rush towards him he pulled him into a hug "Are you okay? please dont listen to what that girl said it is not true at all" Jimin said smiling when he felt Taehyung hug him back

Jimin could already see that Taehyung was warming up to him and was becoming more comfortable which he was super happy about in all honesty.

"Im okay Jimin, thank you for caring" Taehyung smiles as they both pull away from the hug.

"Always, now come on art time!" Jimin said clapping his hands as he goes to sit in his seat, the omega smiled and sat next to him.

It was the end of the day and it was time to go home, Taehyung was already in the woods on his way to walk home- he had his hand on the strap of the bag as he walked down a path humming to a song.

He saw his cave in view after 20 minutes of walking, he did not realize how close his cave was to Jungkook's pack- he just needed to run 5 minutes and walk over a bridge across a lake and he was on his pack's territory.

Taehyung had entered his cave and shut the curtains after he entered he sat on the small mattress pulling out his book. He read his book till it was night, it was now very dark and Taehyung felt quite tired.

He decided to go under his blanket and fall asleep after placing his book in his bag, slowly falling asleep after.

Taehyung was a light sleeper he woke up to little sounds which caused him not to get much sleep. The omega was awake as he heard dark howls in the forrest and hearing paws and feet running past where he lives.

Normally it wont go on for long but this one was and Taehyung grew worried, he was very scared as he knew his past pack was still looking for him but he did not want to be found.

To Taehyung he wondered how crazy close they were to finding him and if they came a little closer to the hidden cave they would definitely find him.

Taehyung stood up when he heard a very deep growl

"I smell an omega!" Taehyung heard someone shout which caused his eyes to go wide, he looked down at his necklace to see the diamond had no light.

He was scared so so scared, something was wrong with his necklace and that meant every alpha would be able to smell him.

"In here!" Someone called out and now Taehyung was face to face with an alpha who had a smirk on his face

"I knew we would find you little omega" Taehyung grabbed his bag with a few things and swung it towards the alpha's face, the alpha groaned and growled causing Taehyung to let out a whimper.

The alpha pushed Taehyung hard, his back hit the cave wall causing him to sob in pain.

"You think you're so sneaky and could hide" The alpha chuckled grabbing a kife, Taehyung screamed in pain when he felt his cheek burn and blood had spilt from his mouth.

Taehyung had been punched before but the pain never got better or easier to take a hit.

The alpha looked down on Taehyung who was crying, his cheek has a bruise and he has a cut on his cheek- lips had blood on it.

Taehyung let out a painful sob as the alpha kicked him in the face, he fell to the ground and let out a scream in pain.

"Let me grab everyone else" The alpha said and he walked out of the cave

Taehyung felt like his face was on fire, he was in so much pain but he knew it would get worse if he stayed so he grabbed his bag and hid ran out of the cave, he was not seen until he speed as fast as he could.

"HE IS GETTING AWAY! GET HIM!" An alpha commanded and Taehyung did not stop even if there were alpha's chasing him a pack of them.

Taehyung ran straight towards Jungkook's pack knowing that is the only way he got to survive, he was hopping that they would sense a wolf on the territory so Taehyung wont have to run into the territory and cause them danger.

He turned his head as he was running to see the alpha's were catching up, he ran across the bridge and suddenly heard a loud alarm but that did not stop him he ran so fast until he saw Jungkook and his alpha's standing above the gate on guard.

"JUNGKOOK" Taehyung screamed causing Jungkook's head to turn.

Jungkook was in a meeting when he heard all the guards rushing in.

"We have a pack on our grounds alpha" one of the said which caused Jungkook to let out a growl

"I NEED EVERY ALPHA OUTSIDE NOW" Jungkook said and growled as everyone stood up and went outside.

As Jungkook walked downstairs and outside he saw all the alpha's in the pack ready, he nodded and walked in front of them as they all walked out the gate and shut it behind them

"No matter what happens we guard this pack with our lives, We can not let anyone through this gate" Jungkook shouts as his army shouted 'yes alpha'.

Jungkook nodded and they all looked out until Jungkook heard his name being screamed and all of a sudden every alpha whispered 'omega'. Jungkook eyes widened when he saw his mate run up to him with a pack of alpha's chasing after him.

Jungkook ran towards Taehyung and his eyes went red seeing Taehyung's face he was bruised and bleeding. Taehyung collapsed in Jungkook's hold.

Jungkook had his arms tightened around Taehyung's frame as he looked towards the alpha's who were now stood still in front of them.

"Give us the omega" They state and Jungkook chuckles

"And why would I give my mate to you" Jungkook's eyes went dark red showing his rank and ever alpha whimpered

"We will be back for you Taehyung" They state and run off

Jungkook lifts the omega up in his arms and turns to his guards

"I want everyone to search out the area to make sure there are no wolfs in the territory and come back when it is clear" Jungkook commanded and left when they said 'yes alpha' Jungkook walked back into the pack and walked inside.

Jungkook's friends were all asleep and had no idea what was happening, he walked up stairs and walked into his room.

Taehyung had now fallen asleep and Jungkook had gently placed him on his bed, he walked to his draws and got a top and walked back to Taehyung. he gently took off his top and put the top on him.

Jungkook undid his mates pants and took them off, he threw the clothes in the basket. He quickly grabbed the first aid kit and walked back to his mate. 

After cleaning the male's wounds and cleaning his face, he chucked some things in the bed and quickly got changed into something more comfortable. He walked over to Taehyung and slowly put him under the covers.

He sat on the side of Taehyung and pulled the covers above them both.

Jungkook felt angry at himself that he failed to protect Taehyung again, he was hurt and he did nothing. Jungkook placed his arm around Taehyung's waist and slowly closed his eyes.

Authors note: What is a age that you were always looking forward to turning. For me it was 19 but this year has been the shittiest year for me LOL.
