7 | Safe place

It was the last class for the day and everyone was in class. The teacher was talking but Taehyung was not listening, he was staring out the window, it was cold. The weather there changed so quickly one minute it was raining and cold then the next day it was sunny and hot.

Taehyung did not like the cold, whenever it was cold he was more cold than others. 

Jungkook on the other hand was watching his mate look out the window, he knew something was wrong and that The omega was upset but he did not know why. It did frustrate Jungkook a little.

Not at Taehyung but at the fact he felt helpless that since him and Taehyung only just met he did not want to scare the male away with being so forward and up front.

He craves for the omega everyday, he knows the male is uncomfortable but he never really understood why, for years he was taught that when you found your mate they're clingy and felt safe around you.

But to Jungkook, Taehyung seems the opposite. He was hurt a little but then again Taehyung is a rare omega his rank's emotions may be a little different.

"Okay class, I heard from your last class you have a presentation to work on so you may spend this time researching. If you need a computer you may go to the college library" the teachers states and some students stay and other go.

Taehyung stood up grabbing his bag and walked out of the room, he did not notice Jungkook following behind. The alpha had a laptop but he did not wanna leave Taehyung alone especially since there were rumours going around that Taehyung is an omega.

Taehyung opened the doors and walked through already heading to one of the computers in the corner of the room, he did not like being where everyone can see him- he feared it a lot.

He sat down and turned the computer on, time went on and he had started his presentation and read for awhile. Jungkook sat on a bean bag in the corner of the library reading his book about werewolf's.

Taehyung felt someone sit next to him so he turned his head and flinched when he saw it was Jez.

"W-what do you w-want?" Taehyung stuttered

"What a rude way of saying hi Taehyung" Jez smirked moving closer

"Rumour has it that your an omega" Jez says

"I t-thought people knew already?" Taehyung questioned

"Everyone smelt you but some alpha's cant pin point it, there are many plots that alpha's have come up with to make you theirs" Jez says

"You're sick" Taehyung says standing up but gets pulled back

He felt his chest tighten in fear as he pushed Jez off of him and looked around for Jungkook hoping he was in the library. He rushed up to the top floor and saw Jungkook reading a book in the corner of the room.

He rushed towards him as he heard Jez's voice chasing after him, in fear Taehyung ran to Jungkook.

Jungkook looked up confused when he smelt Taehyung and looked around to see Taehyung rushing towards him, he placed his book to the side and watched confused as Taehyung kneeled down and placed himself between the true blood's legs.

Placing his head on Jungkook's chest, the alpha did no complain as he grabbed his book and placed an arm around his mates waist to continue reading.

"What's wrong pup, I can smell your fear?" Jungkook whispered

"J-jez is h-here" Taehyung replied as Jungkook nodded understanding when he saw Jez look at him

"Looking for someone Jez" Jungkook smirks as Jez growls a little and walks off

"Dont worry pup, I got you- rest" Jungkook replied as he felt his mate's head nod a little against his chest and soon enough he heard his soft snores.

Jungkook loved the feeling of when Taehyung came to him to feel safe or when he felt scared, he cant explain how much he wanted his mate to talk to him and hug him. Jungkook may look cold hearted to others but for Taehyung he wanted him to be clingy.

Jungkook leaned down to peck Taehyung's hair and continued to read his book with his mate in his arms.

"Pup?" slightly shaking Taehyung's shoulders

"School has finished" Jungkook whispered as Taehyung shuffled a little and groaned.

The true blood watched as his mate turned his head and rubbed his eyes, he watched as Taehyung stood up and cleared his throat.

Jungkook smiled looking at his nervous mate, he stood up and grabbed his book.

"T-thank you" Taehyung stuttered looking at Jungkook then down.

"G-get home s-safe" He said and rushed off

"T-tae" Jungkook said but he was already gone

Jungkook sighed and laid back down on the bean bag, Taehyung was rushing off and walked out of the college and down the path. He saw the cafe he worked at in view, he looked at his watch to see he was on time as he opened the door.

"Ah Tae!" Bogum said

"Hi Bogum" Taehyung smiled when Bogum pulled him into a hug

"Why is the cafe empty?" Taehyung asked pulling away and walking behind the counter to grab his apron

"I closed the shop for a little so I could clean up, but now im opening it" Bogum smiled flipping the sign

"I know you have not worked an after school shift but it gets super busy" Bogum said as Taehyung nodded

"Is anyone else here?" Taehyung asked

"Yes Jennie is cooking, and Sarah is about to finish her break" Bogum said going out the back

As soon as the bell dinged he shot his head up to see teenagers walking in, he waited as they walked towards the counter looking at the menu's.

"Hi can I grab-" The girl said as Taehyung nodded and started to write down the orders

There were humans in town, some people at the college were humans- there were a decent amount of alpha's and beta's though. Taehyung found most non werewolf's super nice.

"Your orders will be done very shortly, take away or in" Taehyung asked pressing a few buttons

"In please" she replies as Taehyung nods and smiles thanking them as the teens move away to sit down.

"Hey Tae, want me to take over while you prepare the food?" Sarah asks as Taehyung nods thanking her.

Taehyung grabs a few tray's and places the food orders on it and walks over to the girls

"There you go" Taehyung said smiling they all thanked him as he walked off.

Taehyung felt more comfortable at work than he did in college- he only gets scared if alpha's walk in or mean people that use to bully him.

Taehyung quickly grabbed other cups that were left on some tables and walked behind the counter he smiled at Sarah before walking into the back to see Jennie drying dishes.

"Sorry Jen, I have more dishes" Taehyung chuckles at Jennies groan

Taehyung's only super good friends were Sarah and Jennie, Sarah is a human and Jennie is a alpha a very strong one. Sarah knows about them being a werewolf and at first she was scared but she saw how brave Jennie is and she felt safe around her.

Taehyung placed the cups on the bench and walked out to see Sarah placing food on trays while taking orders.

Taehyung looked at the table number on the tray and grabbed it taking it to the table, smiling at the thank you he got from Sarah.

"Hi I have your two carrot cakes, one muffin, one banana cake, one berry slice and a hot chocolate" Taehyung said placing down the food before looking up when he heard his name.

"Do you work here?" Jimin asks causing Taehyung's eyes to go wide and his breath to hitch as he see's all of them including his mate sitting at the table staring at him.

(nothing embarrassing about taehyung having a job)

"U-uh yes e-enjoy your m-meal" Taehyung stutters and walks away quickly

Taehyung did feel comfortable around Jimin but he was just super thrown off that they were there.

Taehyung went behind the counter switching jobs with Sarah as she went toilet.

Taehyung was putting in a few orders as people sat down but his heart stopped when he smelt alpha's, Taehyung checked his hand to see he still had the ring on.

Taehyung gulped when he heard the alpha's walk towards the bench.

"Hi sweetcheeks" one alpha says as Taehyung bows slightly.

After ordering their drinks they walked to a table well they split into two's so they were using two tables.

The teens waved goodbye and Taehyung waved back smiling, he started to make the alpha's drink's and put them on a tray. From the other table Jungkook was watching very carefully.

Taehyung walked past Jungkook and up two steps towards the alpha's he was holding 4 cups on the tray and his balance was on point, until one of the alpha's put his foot out tripping up the omega who fell on the ground hot coffee's falling on him.

Taehyung screamed in pain causing every eye to be on him, tears welled up in his eyes as he felt his chest burn.

Jungkook's eyes went red and he ran so fast to Taehyung placing his hand under his thigh's and back, he walked to the back to see a very worried Jennie.

"What happened?" she asked looking at Taehyung who was whimpering in pain

After Jungkook had explained the story he asked if he could take Taehyung home, she nodded petting Taehyung's head.

Jungkook quickly rushed off out of the cafe and ran to his house, Jungkook running in human form is quite fast not normal for a human that is for sure.

Once Jungkook got back to his house he rushed upstairs and into his room shutting the door, Jungkook walked the whimpering Taehyung to the bathroom and sat him down on the sink.

Jungkook turned on the shower putting it on cold.

"You okay pup?" Jungkook asks wiping Taehyung's tears.

"H-hurts" Taehyung whimpered

"If you hop in the shower it will calm down" Jungkook whispered as Taehyung nodded

"I will be outside if you need-" Jungkook started but got cut off

"N-no! p-please dont l-leave" Taehyung whimpered as Jungkook froze for a little, he was surprised that Taehyung wanted him to stay but whatever his mate wanted he would grant.

"We will keep your boxers on yeah, but I need to take your pants and top off" Jungkook said as his mate nodded and lifted his arms up.

Jungkook cooed at his mate and lifted his top up, Jungkook felt his wolf growl seeing Taehyung's red skin, he was beautiful but he was in pain.

"P-please come w-with me, d-dont w-wanna be a-alone" Jungkook nodded fully understanding as he took his own pants and top off he helped Taehyung off the sink and pushed his pants down.

He felt Taehyung's grip on his arms tighten as they walk to the shower, Jungkook gets Taehyung to hop in first, as soon as the water touched Taehyung's red skin he sighed. Jungkook smiled and hopped in as well.

The water was freezing to him but he only cared about Taehyung's well-being.

"I am s-so sorry y-you must be so cold" Taehyung said

"No it is fine, you're my first priority" Jungkook said causing Taehyung's heart to flutter.

Taehyung rested his head against Jungkook's chest placing his hand on the true bloods shoulder.

Jungkook kissed Taehyung's hair as he placed his hands on Taehyung's waist.

"You feeling better?" Jungkook asked as Taehyung nodded

"You wanna hop out now?" Jungkook asked watching as Taehyung nodded.

Jungkook and himself hopped out of the shower and Jungkook handed him a towel, Taehyung was drying himself as Jungkook came back with a top and boxers.

He thanked him and quickly got changed, Jungkook left his bedroom to give Taehyung some privacy.

He walked downstairs to see Jimin and the others in the lounge, Jimin turned his head to Jungkook and stood up rushing to him.

"Is Tae okay?" Jungkook nodded smiling

"He is having a shower, he looked tired so he may go to sleep" Jungkook thought out loud as Jimin nodded patting his back.

Jungkook grabbed a glass of water and walked back upstairs, Jungkook opened the door to see Taehyung sitting on his bed.  He loved this, seeing his mate in his bed and in his protection.

"You tired bub?" Jungkook asked causing Taehyung to nod

Jungkook nodded and walked towards him handing him a glass of water, Taehyung thanked him and drunk some of the water after he was done he walked to the bed side table and placed the cup on it.

Jungkook pulled back the covers and watched as Taehyung slid into the covers, Jungkook hopped in after and pulled Taehyung to his chest, he smiled feeling Taehyung's hands been placed onto his arm.

He pecked his neck before they both fell asleep.
