Chapter 10

They chatted for a while longer, YN was enjoying getting to know the guys. She was fascinated by the group dynamics and how such different personalities created an easy-going environment. The constant teasing and jabs that each member made were all in good fun. Lola seemed to be enjoying herself too, the dog had gone from person to person for snuggles and play. YN leaned back against Jungkook and just let the conversation flow, occasionally answering any questions that the guys threw her way.

"So YN, how is JK treating you? Is the golden child taking good care of you?" Jimin asked wiggling his eyebrows. He watched as YN blushed and ducked when JK threw the pillow closest to him at his head.

"He takes excellent care of me, thanks for asking." She smirked at Jimin. She realized early on that he took great pleasure in ruffling the other member's feathers. Knowing that she was going to make an easy target being new to the group, she made the decision that she would give as good as she got from him. She felt JK chuckle at her response.

"Alright everyone, security called and said we should be good to go. YN, just because you have Lola with you and she's quite recognizable, the pair of you would draw a lot of attention. I'm going to have a separate security guard take you and her down to a different car that will follow us over to the venue where we are rehearsing." Namjoon stated, he was worried about her safety but also concerned about the media circus if they were to catch her with the group. For now, it was easier to keep her to herself if she was going to go to and from the venue.

"Joon, I want to go with her, she shouldn't be by herself with all of this going on," JK responded. He wasn't a fan of Namjoon's plan in the slightest. He didn't want her to get overwhelmed and then have a medical emergency alone.

"JK, if you guys are going to continue seeing each other you know there are rules. For now, this is how we need to go about it until we can sit down and think of a plan for the long term."

"JK," YN said as she placed her hand on his arm. "It's ok, I'm sure everything will be just fine. It's only for a little bit. I'm going to the same place you are. We can even talk on the phone once we are in the cars."

"Fine, but you will call me as soon as you get into the other vehicle and we won't leave until you guys do." He responded a bit aggressively. He made it a point to look Namjoon in the eyes to make him aware of how serious he was. He knew he needed to compromise but he did have limits.

"I promise. Now, who is leaving first?"

"We will leave first, since the reporters will be busy chasing us down you'll be able to slip out the back with the other security guard. Just keep your head down and walk with Lola as you would normally."

"I can do that" she replied and turned to look at JK who was frowning. She leaned over and kissed his lips, "Hey, it's gonna be fine, stop looking so grumpy. Now get going."

The guys all stood up and walked towards the door. Everyone walked out but J-Hope stayed behind for just an extra minute "I'll be right out guys, I left something." He turned to look at YN and said "Don't let it get to you, I know Joon is trying his best and it comes off a bit harsh. He's doing it because he cares about JK and JK cares about you. Some of this is going to be hard, but just know we have your back." With that, he left and ran up to the others.

YN turned around and saw a large man in all black standing behind her. "Alright miss, when they get down to the lobby we will take the stairs and go out the back." He stated.

"Ok" she answered simply. She got Lola leashed up and was ready to leave. She looked over and the guard had his hand touching the earpiece he had. "We are clear to go," he said.

He escorted her out of the room and they made their way down to the vehicles without incident. She was surprised that the entire area was devoid of people. Clearly, BTS was a popular group to garner so much attention from the media. Once she got settled she picked up her phone. She found JK's number and pressed the call button. It started to ring but then went straight to voicemail. She figured that they were probably stuck trying to get through all of the paparazzi and decided to wait. She knew he would call her as soon as he was able once he saw the missed message on the phone.

A few minutes passed and there was still no call from JK and YN began to get worried. The guard's phone then began to ring. He answered it, nodding at what the other person on the other line stated. "JK and the group need us to..." he was cut off by someone pounding on the window of the car. When the guard noticed the camera in the person's hand he said "We need to go, keep your head down." YN felt the car lurch forward and he pressed on the gas and off they went.

"It's ok now miss, we are heading over to the venue. You should be able to call him now." The guard said.

YN brought up her phone and dialed JK again. This time he answered "Hey baby, are you ok?" she heard the groans in the background at the endearment and she chuckled.

"Yes, I'm fine. I tried calling but you didn't answer."

"Sorry, it was hard getting through all of the people to get to the vehicles. We told your security guard to just go on ahead of us."

"I figured, so where are we headed to anyways?"

"We are performing at the Stadium nearby, we still need to rehearse and get some of the stunt timing down. So today you get to watch how it all comes together before the show."

"That sounds like fun." She said they continued to chat about minor things until she heard the guard say that they were at the stadium. She noticed that there were still people with cameras here as well. The guard stated, "We will go around the back again once the guys get here." YN nodded in consent and repeated what he said to JK.

"We are pulling up behind you guys now, I'll get out first and meet you at the back exit. I'll see you soon." He hung up the phone and exited the vehicle with Namjoon, Jimin, and J-Hope on his heels.

The guard took that as his cue to then drive around to the back of the stadium. Once there they parked and she could see JK running towards them. She got out of the SUV and JK picked he up, twirling her around.

She laughed "JK it's literally only been thirty minutes." As she buried her face in his throat.

"Yeah, a long thirty minutes. Come on, I want to show you around." He took her hand and guided her and Lola around the stadium.

YN was in awe of how big the stadium was and she could picture it filled to the brim with people. JK pointed to another spot not too far from the stage and said "That's where you will be tomorrow night, we already arrange for tickets and a backstage pass for you. You'll come right?" He looked so nervous and shy that she couldn't help but mess with him a little.

"Oh, I don't know..." She said and he looked at her face. He saw her smiling and just rolled his eyes.

"I'll take that as a yes you brat." He replied ruffling her hair.

"Of course, I wouldn't miss it for the world."

As the day continued YN observed the guys as they danced and sang. As it became later in the day, she could hear the tensions between them rise. The guys let her sit right in front of the stage with Lola to watch, so she was able to hear everything. It sounded like Jimin was giving JK grief about being distracted by his pretty girlfriend. Upon hearing that YN got up and approached the part of the stage that JK was at. Waving at him to lean down.

"Hey, I'm going to go stretch my legs a bit and walk Lola around the stadium. You need to focus and don't let Jimin get to you. He's probably just pissed off that you're getting laid and he isn't."

Jungkook chuckled "You're right, he's the one who usually gets all of the girl's attention. Go for your walk but stay inside the stadium please, I need to know that you're close with so many people outside."

"I promise, I am however going to use the restroom first so don't freak out when you don't see me for a few moments." She leaned up and kissed his lips. Turning away she made her way towards where the bathrooms were.

JK stood up and watched her go. Turning around he made his way towards Jimin. "What's your problem Jimin? You've been poking fun at me over her since you found out I was with a girl."

"I don't have a problem JK, you do. That girl as pretty as she is is going to get you into trouble man. I mean seriously, she's not even just normal. You had to pick up a stray with a medical condition and a crazy ex. That's a recipe for disaster. You're going to get us all..."

"Jimin that's enough." Jin said as he stepped in "That woman is kind, sweet, and patient. She's smart and I bet 10 to 1 that she knows you don't like her by now. I don't know if you're aware of how closely she's watched every single one of us. It's clear she trusts JK, Yoongi, and J-Hope. It's also apparent that she's ok with Taehyung otherwise she wouldn't have relaxed when he started to play with Lola. However, she's still hesitant with you, me, and Namjoon. I'm sure she realizes that Namjoon and I will make sure nothing happens to JK regardless of her feelings and that she's here because we are ok with it. It's not like JK is going to choose a girl over the group so just relax. There's no need to fight when we need to practice. Just let it go for now and try to actually talk to her like the rest of us have. I bet you just might like her."

"Jimin, I want to see her, yes, but I promise that if it comes down to a choice I'll pick you guys. You're my family, but I really want to see where this goes. I like her a lot." Jk said.

"Fine, whatever." Jimin replied, "I need a break and some food." With that, he walked off the stage.

Taehyung walked over to JK and put his arm around his shoulders. "It's ok man, I think she's great. I mean yeah, Jimin has a point about the medical stuff and the crazy ex, that those things make this harder. But if you really care about her as much as you do, then I'm with you man. I'll support you and help in any way I can. I'll help Jimin come around."

"Thanks, Tae, I'm gonna go find her."

Tae just nodded his head and followed the others off the stage to where the food and drinks were located. JK picked up his phone and sent YN a message.

JK: Hey, we are taking a break. Where are you?

YN: I'm on the upper floor to your left. I can see you. I'll be down in a minute.

JK: K, see you in a minute.

JK looked up to where she said she was and watched her as she made her way down the stairs towards him. Feeling at ease after laying eyes on her he walked to her to meet her halfway.

"Are you hungry?" He asked.

"Yeah, I could use to eat." She replied taking his hand in hers. She noticed how tense he was and figured that they probably had words after she left. "Hey JK, I know it hasn't been long, but I really do like you. This is a lot to take in, knowing that the sexy man I've been sleeping with is a celebrity but I like you for being that man I met on that first day. Just normal, sweet, handsome Jungkook."

JK wondered how he got so lucky as he listened to her words. "I like you too YN, let's see where this goes." With that he kissed her long and slow, his hands coming up to cup her face.

"Hey lovebirds, come eat" Yoongi yelled.

They both laughed and made their way over to the group to eat.
