chapter three
10:38, 7 September 2017⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Thank you." Brandon smiled as Kenzie's driver opened her limo door, letting the couple out. Kenzie entwined her fingers with Brandon's and whispered in his ear. "You don't have to thank him, he's just the help."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Brandon rolled his bright blue eyes. Kenzie was convinced she was the Queen and far more superior than anyone else and there wasn't much point of Brandon telling her otherwise. The pair approached the doors to the fancy apartment block, whilst the doorman held it open for them. Brandon didn't stop to thank him this time. Kenzie smiled at him as she used her french manicured index finger to press the button on the elevator.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"This party will be great." Kenzie spoke. "The only down side is Kendall Vertes is the hostess."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Kenzie despised Kendall, almost as much as she hated Johnny.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"She's the devil in female form, along with a blanket of brunette hair and designer clothing." Kenzie added, huffing.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Kendall was just about Kenzie's only competition on the upper West side, that's probably the reasoning behind her burning hate for her, but not matter how close Kendall had ever come she had never been able to take the crown from Kenzie's chestnut locks.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀The elevator finally reach the ground and the two hopped in. Brandon pressed the button for the penthouse, where Kendall lived.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Besides I have a plan to take Kendall down tonight." Kenzie chuckled. Brandon looked at her, furrowing his brows, Kenzie was always scheming something.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"What are you gonna do?" Brandon cleared his throat, while fiddling with his fingers.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Kenzie smiled mischievously. "It's a surprise."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀That's when the elevator doors slid open, revealing the dashing party itself, even Kenzie had to admit Kendall had done a very good job with this one. It wasn't your cliche high school party, with red solo cups and cheap beer, completed with horrible music blasting so loud your ears bled. No, this was a party hosted by one of Manhattan's richest, and no Manhattan elite would be caught dead at a party like that. Instead parties on The upper West side were divine, with sparkling champagne and crystal clear wine glasses. The soft sound of music in the background and the room filled with Prada, Dior and Louis Vuitton, with the slight scent of Chanel to fill one's noses.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀But every good party comes with one thing, whether it be middle class or upper. A little scandal. And Kenzie had her heart set on revealing it tonight.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀✨⭐️✨⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀[a/n sorry for another filler chapter haha but it does get interesting soon trust me ]
