Sweater Weather

Adam walked into class, wearing that cute smile on his face. He was so happy because of Shiro being his boyfriend and being ready for the finals. He looked at his seat, Shiro wasn't there. He didn't mind it, maybe he was just going to be late. After a few minutes, the lesson started, It was science. It reminded Adam that Shiro was good at science. He smiled to himself, even thinking about him was making him smile. Few lessons passed, Adam started to worry about Shiro. But he wiped away the bad thoughts and guess he was just sick. He was all alone all day. No one talked to him, or seemed like didn't want to talk. Lily always looked like she wanted to say something but she couldn't. Adam was so curious about what was going on. So he decided to go to Lily and ask why everyone was acting strange all day when the class ends.

''There is nothing going on..A-Adam.'' She stuttered it was kind of obvious that she was lying.

''Are you sure..?''

Lily stroked the back of her hair, eyes getting teary.

''Yes.'' She said and tightened her backpack as she walked out of the classroom fastly. Adam glared at her and sighed in distress. When he was about to text back he heard the others calling him, so he just sent a heart instead. Adam opened his house's door and get inside calmly. His mom was on a trip because of her job. The thought of being alone was actually scaring him so much. He was always scared of these kinds of things, like ghosts and darkness. Even tho he knew it was childish he couldn't help but feel bad. He spent most of his time playing games on his computer and eating for a while when he realized outside was too dark. He could barely see something, he started to bite his nails in fear and leaned to close his curtains. But a bird flew away, making Adam jump and scream. He closed the curtains quickly and jumped on his bed. He pulled his thin legs to his chest in the corner of his bed. After a few minutes of staying like that, he got bored and went to the living room. While sitting on the couch that is full of pillows he felt so alone. Like someone was going to break into his house. He was thinking about how to distract himself. Shiro immediately came to his mind. He blushed deeply and reached his phone, typing his number. But he hesitated, maybe he was sleeping. It wasn't that late tho.

''F-ck it.'' He mumbled to himself and called him.

''Hello?'' a smooth, manly voice came from the other side.

''Err.. H-hi.''

''Adam?''

''I'm gonna be honest. Can you please come over I'm alone and scared. Outside is dark and I'm scared of darkness. I feel like someone will break into my house.''

Shiro chuckled on the other side.

''Of course, I'll be there in 10 minutes. Don't worry!''

''O-okay thank you..''

''It's okay, bye!''

''Bye!''

When Adam put his phone down to the couch he heard a knock on the window. He widened his eyes and froze. He was cursing non-stop when the tapping continued. The voice didn't stop until Adam heard a knock in the door. He slowly stood up and opened the door slowly. Thank God It was Shiro. Adam jumped on him, wrapping his arms around him tightly.

''Aww it's okay!'' Shiro giggled rubbing his back.

''I'm still scared!'' Adam blurted out then blushed.

''I'm here don't worry!'' Shiro kissed Adam's forehead. Making him feel like they are freaking married. Adam smiled, stuffing his head to Shiro's neck. His usual lemongrass scent filled his lungs. They sat on the couch, Adam didn't let Shiro go. He leaned his head to his shoulder instead. Their fingers were brushing each other lightly. Adam let out a sigh and opened the newest movie so they could watch. Adam snuggled back to Shiro and started to watch the movie.

''Why are you alone by the way?'' Shiro asked.

''Moms on a job trip.''

''Oh.''

They continued to watch the movie, sometimes Shiro was getting bored and playing with Adam's messy hair. And sometimes Adam was getting bored and he was playing with Shiro's sweatshirt. Adam couldn't help but feel his eyelids slowly close. He yawned, Shiro realized he was sleepy because of the warm breath he felt on his hand. He blushed slightly, Adam pressed his warm body to his' even more and fell asleep. Shiro felt sleepy because of Adam too. He fell asleep, leaning his cheek to his hair as Adam does. They chased each other's dreams together...
