"VELI!" i exclaimed as we hugged. "girl i missed you so much, how's it been with everything?"

"everything's been great actually," she grinned as we let go and i closed the door. she dragged her luggages in the room and left it near the bed. "life has been exhausting but yeah i've been good, what about you-"

her sentence was cut short when joão came out of the bathroom - immediately she got closer to him and slapped him roughly on the face. he groaned in pain and held his face in confusion.

"how dare you fucking cheat on her you DOUCHEBAG." velia screamed dramatically, "and how could you take him back eleanor?? he's an asshole and you deserve better-"

"oh my god - veli!" i laughed uncontrollably, "joão isn't a cheater. he's my boyfriend and the articles online are lying, i never got with kevin,"

she looked at me in shock and regret as she turned to joão, "goodness, i am so so sorry i thought that you cheated." she apologised frantically

"it's fine, honestly," joão said, trying his hardest to smile as i just kept laughing at how funny this situation was. "don't worry."

he gave me a side glare and i immediately stopped laughing - well i tried my hardest but a few giggles left my lips every time i thought about what just happened.

"i'm just going to use the bathroom real quick if you don't mind.." she said awkwardly before turning around and walking straight into the toilet, locking it.

"keep laughing and it won't only be giggles escaping your lips," he crossed his arms and stared at me seriously.

"fine. you gotta admit it was kind of funny though."

"whatever. who's that?"

"my cousin velia." i said "she's in qatar to see the world cup. can you get her good tickets for the next match please?" i begged.

"fine," he said softly as i smiled. "only because i love you and not because she just slapped me in the face,"

"thank you!" i exclaimed and kissed his cheek.

after my cousin came out of the bathroom we all decided to go to the restaurant with her too, we arrived and walked in spotting antónio and rosia sitting on a reserved table for four people

unfortunately there wasnt any space for velia so i had to sit on joão's lap instead.

i cleared my throat. "guys this is velia my cousin." i introduced her as she smiled and waved. "velia this is rosia my all time best friend and anyway you know antónio."

"it's nice to meet you velia." rosia shook her hand politely. "your name is very pretty,"

"aw that's so kind! and it's nice to meet you too rosia, you are also very beautiful,"

rosia said thanked her as a waiter came and took our orders, (i ordered chicken strips and chips cause i'm a basic bitch)

our drinks came like a minute after and i ordered water, however, joão didn't order any drinks.

"so you guys are playing morocco next, right?" velia asked, trying to start a conversation. 

"yeah actually-" antónio started to talk.

i moved forwards to get closer to the table so i could reach my water, i took my glass and held it in my hand, moving back against joão again.

"stop," he groaned quietly in my ear.

i was a little confused but then i realised what he meant so i decided to tease him by continuing to move.

"stop what?" i smirked as antónio kept on talking to everyone. "what am i doing?"

"you know what.."

"am i making you uncomfortable?" i teased and shuffled more until he slid his hands around my waist and held me still.

"-and yeah i think we are gonna win against morocco, what do you think joão?" antónio asked, everyone now looking at us.

joão was caught slightly of guard. "oh yeah - uh im just worried about bono but yeah i think we have a good chance of winning, hopefully."

"and what about you eleanor?" rosia asked. "wouldn't it be so cool if portugal won the world cup?"

"yes-" i started until joão placed his hand on my thigh, "i think-" he put it closer and i gave him a death stare as he smirked at me.

"sorry, i think it would be very," he put it closer. "very, cool.." i exhaled as he started to rub my clit.

i was so lucky that they weren't focusing on me anymore and instead talking to velia. i put a hand over my mouth as i let a moan slip.

"am i making you uncomfortable?" he teased just like i had done. "i can play that game too,"

"fuck you," i whispered and looked at him as he chuckled.

thankfully the waiter came with our food and he removed his hand instantly. the waiter placed our food on the table and everyone started to eat.

us three girls talked while the boys talked to eachother.

"wait you guys met at a concert?" i asked velia curiously.

"yeah," she blushed. "evan was my favourite band member and he noticed me one day i went to his concert, he gave me his number but we never spoke. how about you rosia, how did you meet antónio?"

rosia laughed. "i went to one of my brothers games and i saw him there, i think it was love at sight honestly,"

"aww that's romantic," velia smiled. "how did you meet joão, eleanor?"

"kind of the same as rosia - i mean when i moved back to portugal my brother let me watch one of the team practices and that was the first time i met him." i shrugged. "when rosia invited me to her house i soon had a crush on him,"

"aw! did you know that she liked you at that time joão?"

"yeah, i did." he chuckled as i stared at him in shock. "i heard rosia say it while you guys were downstairs watching movies."

me and rosia gasped and she gave me an apologising look.

"you knew all along?" i asked him.

"you guys weren't very quiet." he shrugged and grinned.

after everyone had finished their food we all walked back to the hotel because we were too stuffed to get dessert. we went out separate ways but velia came with us since she left her suitcase in our room, she took it and said goodbye since only the footballers could stay here she had to stay somewhere else unfortunately.

i got changed into my pajamas and got into bed with joão.

"i still can't believe you for today,"

"it was payback." he smiled as i rolled my eyes.

i moved closer to him and soon fell asleep in the comfort of his arms.
