As soon as you step into your house, exhaustion washes over you like a tidal wave. The trip had been fun, but now that you're back in Seoul, every muscle in your body feels heavy. Jungkook follows behind, carrying your suitcase inside without a word. You should probably tell him he doesn't have to, but you're too tired to protest.

"Thanks," you mumble, kicking off your shoes.

Jungkook sets your suitcase down near the door, watching as you drag yourself to the couch and practically collapse onto it. He chuckles, the sound low and amused. "You look dead."

"I feel dead," you mumble into the cushions.

You hear him move, and then suddenly, the space next to you sinks as he sits down. "You want me to go so you can sleep?"

You peek at him from where you're sprawled. He doesn't seem in a rush to leave, leaning back with one arm stretched over the back of the couch. His presence is comfortable, familiar.

"Nah," you sigh. "You can stay if you want."

Jungkook just grins, shifting to get more comfortable. "Good. 'Cause I wasn't planning on leaving yet."

Jungkook watches you for a moment, then tilts his head. "You hungry?"

You don't even lift your head from the cushion—just nod lazily.

He chuckles. "Of course you are." Standing up, he stretches before glancing down at you. "You want me to order something, or do you have food here?"

You sigh, finally mustering the energy to roll onto your back and look at him. "You pick. I'm too tired to think."

Jungkook smirks. "So, the usual, then?"

You nod again, eyes already fluttering shut. Whatever he gets, you know it'll be good. He's always been good at that—knowing what you need before you even have to ask.

Jungkook pulls out his phone and orders your favorite food without even asking—he already knows. You hear him mumble the order to the restaurant, his voice low and relaxed, and a small smile tugs at your lips.

When he hangs up, he drops back onto the couch with a sigh. "Food's on the way. No way I'm cooking right now."

You hum in agreement, too tired to say much. Your body feels heavy, sinking deeper into the cushions, but knowing food is coming makes everything a little better.

Jungkook shifts beside you, getting comfortable. "You gonna pass out before it gets here?"

"Maybe," you mumble, eyes barely open.

He chuckles, nudging your leg with his knee. "Guess I'll have to wake you up, then."

You're half-asleep when Jungkook speaks again, his voice softer this time.

"Hey... tell me if this is too fast, but... would you wanna meet my family?"

Your eyes flutter open slightly, and you turn your head to look at him. He's not looking at you, instead staring at the ceiling like he's trying to act casual—but the way his fingers fidget against his thigh gives him away.

For a moment, your brain lags, still foggy from exhaustion. "Like... your parents?"

Jungkook nods, finally glancing at you. "Yeah. I mean, only if you want to. No pressure."

You blink at him, processing. Meeting his family—that's a big deal. But the fact that he's bringing it up means he's thought about it. And the way he's looking at you now, slightly nervous, makes your chest feel warm.

A small smile tugs at your lips. "I'd like that."

His shoulders relax, and he lets out a breath like he hadn't realized he was holding it. "Yeah?"

You nod, eyes slipping shut again. "Mhm. But after food. Too tired to be nervous about it right now."

Jungkook laughs, shaking his head. "Fair enough." Then, quieter, he adds, "I think they'll really like you."

You crack one eye open and smirk. "You say that every time."

Jungkook chuckles, not even trying to deny it. "Yeah, because I don't want you to be nervous when it actually happens."

You huff a small laugh, rolling onto your side to face him properly. "You realize that just makes me think I should be nervous, right?"

He groans dramatically, throwing his head back against the couch. "That's not how it's supposed to work, Y/n."

You grin, watching as he rubs a hand over his face. "But seriously," he says, peeking at you through his fingers, "I wouldn't ask if I didn't think it'd go well. No pressure, though. If you're not ready, I can wait."

His voice is so genuine that it makes your chest feel warm again. You stretch out a little, letting out a soft sigh. "I appreciate that."

Jungkook nods, a small smile on his lips. "Good. Now, go back to being half-asleep until the food gets here."

You don't argue. Instead, you close your eyes again, feeling lighter than before.

It felt like you had just closed your eyes when Jungkook was already nudging you awake.

"Y/n, food's here."

You groan softly, barely stirring. "Already?" Your voice is thick with sleep, and you feel like you've only been out for a few minutes.

Jungkook chuckles. "Yeah, you knocked out fast." He shifts closer, tapping your arm lightly. "C'mon, get up before I eat your share."

That gets your attention. You force your eyes open, blinking up at him as he holds up the takeout bag. The smell of your favorite food drifts through the air, making your stomach grumble despite your exhaustion.

With a sigh, you slowly sit up, rubbing your eyes. "You wouldn't actually eat my share."

Jungkook smirks. "Try me."

You narrow your eyes at him, grabbing for the bag. He laughs, handing it over without a fight, and you both settle in to eat.

You're mid-bite when Jungkook suddenly speaks up.

"So... work starts again soon, right?"

You nod absentmindedly, chewing. "Yeah. Gotta get back to reality."

Jungkook hums, watching you carefully. "And... how are you planning to take care of yourself while working?"

You frown slightly, swallowing your food. "What do you mean? I always take care of myself."

He gives you a pointed look. "Y/n."

Something about his tone makes you pause. His expression softens as he sets his chopsticks down, leaning forward slightly. "I mean, with the baby."

Your breath catches for a second. It's not like you forgot—you can't forget—but hearing him say it out loud makes your heart race. You glance down at your food, suddenly not as hungry.

Jungkook watches you, his gaze gentle but firm. "You know you can't just push through exhaustion like before, right? You have to actually rest. Eat properly. Take breaks."

You sigh, running a hand through your hair. "I know..."

He tilts his head, studying you. "Do you?"

You roll your eyes, but there's no real annoyance behind it. "Yes, I do." Then, quieter, "It's just... a lot to think about."

Jungkook nods, his voice softer now. "I get that. But you don't have to do it alone."

You glance up at him, meeting his eyes. There's no hesitation, no doubt—just quiet reassurance. And in that moment, you realize just how serious he is.

Your chest tightens slightly, but you push past it, managing a small smile. "I know. Thanks, Jungkook."

He grins, picking up his chopsticks again. "Good. Now, eat. You're eating for two, remember?"

You huff a small laugh, shaking your head. "Don't remind me."

But as you take another bite, you feel a little lighter, knowing that at least one person is looking out for you.

Jungkook sits there for a moment, looking thoughtful, before he looks at you with a serious expression.

"Move in with me." His voice is calm, but there's a certain intensity in his words.

You blink, pausing mid-bite. "What?"

He repeats it, this time more firmly. "Move in with me. And quit your job."

You put your chopsticks down slowly, processing what he's just said. "Wait, what? Why?"

Jungkook sighs, running a hand through his hair, his tone softening. "You're going to be juggling work, everything with the baby, and trying to take care of yourself. It's too much, Y/n. I don't want you to be stressed out or overwhelmed. If you're with me, we can figure it out together."

You stare at him, your thoughts racing. It's a lot to take in all at once. "But... my job—how am I supposed to just quit? And moving in with you... that's a big step."

Jungkook looks at you with understanding, his eyes gentle. "I get it. I'm not saying it's an easy choice. But I'm here. You don't have to do this on your own. I can support you—we can support you."

You open your mouth to say something, but words fail you for a moment. You've never really considered that option, and the thought of quitting your job feels like you're giving up a piece of your independence. But his offer feels genuine, and it makes you wonder if it might actually be the right choice for both of you.

Jungkook's gaze softens as he watches you process his words, then he leans in a little, his tone more gentle.

"Y/n, you're my girlfriend... and you're going to be the mother of our child." He pauses, letting that sink in before continuing, "Of course it would make sense for you to move in with me. It's better for both of us—for all of us."

His words hang in the air, and for a moment, you're speechless. The weight of his offer, the seriousness of it, starts to feel more real. His eyes don't waver, like he's waiting for you to truly see what he's offering.

"You don't have to do it all alone," Jungkook continues, his voice reassuring. "I want to be there for you. It's not just about helping you—it's about us."

You can't help but feel the warmth in his words, the care he has for you and the baby. You think about everything you've been juggling and realize, maybe he's right. It would be easier, better, with him there.

You finally exhale, the tightness in your chest loosening just a little. "I don't know... It's just a big change."

Jungkook gives you a soft, understanding smile. "I know. But sometimes the biggest changes bring the best outcomes."

His sincerity hits you in a way you weren't expecting. Moving in together, quitting your job—it's all a lot to process. But maybe, just maybe, it's the right step. You meet his gaze, feeling a bit more open to the idea than you were a few minutes ago.

"Let's talk about it more later," you say quietly. "I need to think it over."

He nods, not pressing you any further. "Of course. Just know I'm here, okay?"

"I'm not trying to pressure you," he adds quietly. "But I just want you to have the time and space to relax, focus on yourself, and the baby. I'll take care of the rest."

Your heart tugs at his words, and for a moment, the weight of it all feels a little less heavy. You stare at him, trying to make sense of it all.

Later that day, after Jungkook had left, you find yourself on the phone with Mina, the familiar sound of her voice bringing some comfort.

"Hey! I just got back." You say, collapsing onto the couch with a tired sigh.

Mina's voice lights up on the other end. "Finally! How was the trip? I bet it was fun, but you must be exhausted."

You nod even though she can't see you. "Yeah, it was great, but I'm definitely wiped out. I had such a good time, though." You pause, feeling the exhaustion creeping in. "But there's something I need to tell you."

Mina sounds curious now. "What's up?"

You take a breath, still processing everything that happened. "So... Jungkook asked me to move in with him."

Mina's voice goes quiet for a moment, then she responds, excitement in her tone. "Wait, seriously? That's huge, Y/n! What did you say?"

You chew on your lip, feeling a little conflicted. "I don't know. I mean, it's a big step, right? I'm not sure if I'm ready to give up my independence and quit my job... but he said it would be better for us. He wants to help me, you know? With everything, especially with the baby."

Mina takes a breath, considering. "Well, it sounds like he cares a lot. But you've gotta do what feels right for you, too. I mean, moving in together is a big deal, especially with everything going on. What are you leaning toward?"

You let out a breath, running your fingers through your hair. "I don't know yet. I need to think about it more."

"Take your time, Y/n. Don't rush yourself," Mina says, her voice soft but firm. "But I know Jungkook wouldn't suggest it if he didn't really want to be there for you. He's not the type to make big moves like that without meaning it."

You smile faintly, appreciating her support. "Yeah... I guess you're right. I'll figure it out."

Mina's voice lifts again, full of energy. "Well, I'm just glad you're back! Let's hang out soon, okay? I want to hear all the details about the trip and everything else."

You chuckle softly, "Yeah, I'll tell you everything once I'm not so dead tired. We'll catch up soon."

As you lie back on the couch, the quiet hum of the room filling the space around you, Jungkook's words echo in your mind. "Move in with me." You roll them over in your head, trying to make sense of it all. He's not wrong—things are changing, and quickly. But there's a part of you that's holding onto the promise you made, long ago, to never move in with someone unless you had a ring on your finger.

You chuckle softly to yourself at the irony. You're carrying his child, and yet, here you are, skipping a whole stage of life—skipping a whole stage—in a way you never thought you would.

It's funny how life works, isn't it? You never thought you'd be in this position—thinking about moving in with someone, the father of your child, no less. But then again, love has a way of making everything seem like it could fall into place even without a plan.

You smile to yourself, thinking about the baby. It's strange to think that you're not just imagining a future with Jungkook but also a future with a little one. You hadn't exactly planned it this way, but now, the idea of sharing that future with him doesn't seem so impossible.

Laughing softly, you shake your head at the thought. "I really did skip a whole stage."

As you lie there, a new weight settles in your chest, deeper than before. The laughter fades as your thoughts shift again. You worked so hard to get a job, to establish your independence, to move out on your own, and now here you are—facing the reality that things might not go exactly as planned.

The future you imagined for yourself, the one where you were carving your own path, feels a little less clear now. Growing a child takes time, energy, and so much more than you ever anticipated. You'll be tied to this little person, needing to put them first, and suddenly, it feels like that independence you worked so hard for might slip out of your grasp.

You can't help but feel a little conflicted. On one hand, you want to embrace this new chapter—being a mom, having Jungkook by your side. But on the other hand, there's a part of you that feels like you're sacrificing the life you fought for.

The thought stings, even as you remind yourself that becoming a parent is a big, beautiful responsibility. But it doesn't stop the ache of that independence slipping away, and it makes you question what's going to happen to the dreams and goals you once had for yourself.

You run a hand over your face, trying to push the feelings aside. "It's just a change," you whisper to yourself, but somehow it doesn't feel that simple.

The more you think about it, the more it feels like everything's moving at a pace you're not quite sure how to keep up with. The house hunting with Jungkook, for the baby, the idea of making such big decisions together—it all feels like a whirlwind, like you're being swept along without much time to breathe.

It's all happening so fast. One minute, it's just the two of you, figuring out life together in small, simple ways. And now, suddenly, everything is about this baby. From the house you'll raise them in to the plans you never thought you'd make so soon—it's all been triggered by one life-changing thing.

You close your eyes, letting your head rest back on the couch. A baby. It's still a little surreal. Part of you wants to take things slower, to stop and savor the moment, but the reality of it is that there's no slowing down now.

The house hunting, the moving in together, quitting your job—everything is so tied to this little one, and while it's overwhelming, it also brings a strange sense of responsibility. But does it feel like too much, too soon? You're just starting to realize that a lot of these big steps are happening all because of a baby—and yet, you can't quite shake the feeling that it's all a bit too fast.

You let out a long, slow breath. Maybe you don't have to have all the answers right now. But the pressure is there, heavy in the back of your mind, reminding you that life's moving at a pace you can't control.

You pull your knees up, instinctively wrapping your arms around your stomach, the weight of everything pressing down on you. The thoughts swirl in your mind, but you're too exhausted to think them through anymore. You just need to escape, even if it's only for a little while.

With your eyes closed, you try to push everything out of your mind—the baby, the decisions, the overwhelming speed of it all—and let yourself drift into sleep. It's not peaceful, but it's a break. Just a few moments of silence from the chaos.

You feel your breath slow, the soft rise and fall of your chest making everything feel a little more manageable. For now, you can just rest. Tomorrow, you'll face everything again, but for now, sleep pulls you under, and you finally let go.

Jungkook sits on the couch, the phone pressed to his ear, tapping his fingers nervously against the fabric. He's been meaning to tell his parents about Y/n for a while now, but it's never felt like the right moment. Today, though, he's finally decided to bring it up.

"So, um..." Jungkook begins, clearing his throat, trying to sound casual. "I've been hanging out with someone lately. You know, a friend."

His dad's voice comes through, warm but teasing. "A friend, huh? Just a friend?"

Jungkook chuckles awkwardly, trying to steer the conversation carefully. "Well, yeah, I mean... we've been spending a lot of time together. You could say it's a little more than that."

His mom, curious, chimes in. "What's her name? Tell us more about her."

Jungkook pauses for a second, trying to find the right words. "Her name's Y/n. She's... really amazing. We've been seeing each other for a while now."

There's a brief pause on the other end of the line, followed by his mom's voice, more excited than he expected. "Jungkook, that's wonderful! You've never mentioned her before. How serious is it?"

He shifts on the couch, his nerves bubbling up. "Uh, it's still new, but... yeah, I think it's pretty serious. We've been talking about, you know, the future, things like that."

His dad lets out a low whistle. "The future, huh? That sounds promising. We're happy for you, son. If you're happy, then that's all that matters."

Jungkook smiles, feeling a weight lift off his shoulders. "Thanks, I really appreciate it."

His mom adds, her voice gentle. "Just make sure you take your time. Don't rush anything. But we're happy you've found someone special."

Jungkook chuckles softly as he hears his mom's voice echoing in his mind, reminding him not to rush anything. He knows better than anyone just how quickly things have moved, and the irony isn't lost on him. He's already steps ahead of the "taking it slow" advice she's giving, knowing full well that they're about to become parents.

He shakes his head a little, the thought making him smile, though a little nervousness lingers in his chest. Yeah, Mom... I definitely already rushed it, he thinks, his mind drifting to the baby on the way.

Despite his own quiet laugh, there's also a sense of responsibility sinking in. Jungkook leans back into the couch, trying to picture it all—his mom's words, his own feelings about everything, and the fact that he's already so deeply involved with Y/n and their future together.

His phone is still in his hand as he runs his fingers through his hair. "Guess we're all in now," he mutters to himself with a smirk, already imagining how his mom would react if she knew how far ahead he'd actually gone.

He chuckles again, knowing this is just the beginning of navigating this whirlwind with Y/n. He's committed, but there's still a lot to figure out, and for now, the only thing he's certain of is that he's ready for the ride, no matter how fast it's moving.

Jungkook nods, his heart a little lighter. "I'm glad you're both supportive. I think you'd really like her."

"Well, we'll have to meet her soon," his mom says with a smile in her voice. "Bring her over when you can. We'd love to get to know her better."

Jungkook's smile widens, knowing that the hardest part is over. "Yeah, definitely. I'll make sure we plan something soon."

After a few more minutes of light conversation, Jungkook hangs up, feeling both relieved and excited. He's finally taken the first step in sharing Y/n with his parents, and somehow, everything feels a little more real.

The days leading up to Jungkook's boxing event passed by quicker than you expected. One moment, you were still trying to process everything—his offer to move in, the reality of your pregnancy, the way life was shifting so fast—and the next, he was being pulled into intense training sessions, barely having time for anything else.

You knew he wanted to stay with you, to look after you, but he didn't have much of a choice. His team and his coach were pushing him harder than ever, making sure he was at his peak for the fight. Still, even with his packed schedule, Jungkook never failed to check in on you.

Jungkook [8:32 AM]: Good morning, baby. Did you sleep well? Don't forget to eat something, okay?

Jungkook [12:45 PM]: Did you drink enough water?

Jungkook [3:17 PM]: Training is killing me today, but I keep thinking about you. How are you feeling?

Even when he was exhausted, drenched in sweat after hours in the gym, he'd send voice notes telling you how much he missed you, asking how the baby was doing, making sure you weren't feeling too overwhelmed.

You smiled at your phone every time, feeling warmth spread through your chest. No matter how busy he got, Jungkook never let you feel alone.

Today was the day—Jungkook's boxing event. The anticipation was heavy in the air, and you could already feel your nerves creeping in as you rummaged through your closet, trying to find something suitable to wear.

You wanted to look good, to support him properly, but also stay comfortable. Your body was already changing, and some of your usual clothes didn't fit quite the same. With a sigh, you pulled out a few options, holding them up in front of the mirror.

Too tight.Too casual.Too fancy.

Frustration bubbled up as you tossed another outfit onto the bed. You just wanted to be there for him, cheering him on, without feeling uncomfortable the whole time.

Jungkook [6:42 PM]: Are you on your way soon? No pressure, just wanna know if you need me to send someone to pick you up.

You smiled at the message, touched that even with everything going on, he was still thinking about you.

You [6:44 PM]: I'm almost ready! Don't worry about me, just focus on your fight.

A few seconds later, another text popped up.

Jungkook [6:45 PM]: I always worry about you. See you soon, baby.

Standing in front of the mirror, you let out a deep sigh, your hands resting on the curve of your stomach. Your pregnancy was starting to show a lot more now, and while you had come to accept the changes, dressing for them was proving to be a whole different challenge.

Nothing fit the way it used to. Your favorite jeans wouldn't button, your tops felt too tight, and even the looser outfits you once relied on were starting to hug you in ways that made you feel uncomfortable.

You sighed, tossing another shirt onto the growing pile of discarded clothes on your bed. "This is ridiculous," you muttered to yourself, rubbing your belly absentmindedly.

You knew the changes were natural, expected even—but that didn't make it any less frustrating. You wanted to look good, feel good, especially for Jungkook's big night, but right now, you were struggling just to find something that made you feel like yourself.

Your phone buzzed again—another message from Jungkook.

Jungkook [6:50 PM]: Baby, don't stress about what you wear. You're beautiful no matter what. Just be comfortable, okay?

You smiled a little, his words easing some of the frustration. He always had a way of making you feel better, even from a distance.

After what felt like an endless struggle, you finally settled on a collared dress with short sleeves. The fitted waist accentuated your growing bump in a way that made you feel confident rather than self-conscious, and the false buttons running down the front added a stylish touch. The hem had side pleats that gave it a little movement, making it feel less restrictive, and the invisible side zip made it easier to slip into without feeling suffocated.

To complete the look, you paired it with short-length gold heels—not too high, just enough to add a touch of elegance without making walking a struggle.

You kept your makeup light, just as you usually did—nothing too heavy, just enough to enhance your features and give you a natural glow. A bit of concealer, a touch of blush, and a soft, neutral lip color. You wanted to feel put together, but not overdone.

Your hair fell in soft waves over your shoulders, effortlessly framing your face. It was simple but elegant, just enough to make you feel confident.

To tie everything together, you decided to add some gold jewelry—a delicate necklace that rested just above the collar of your dress, a pair of small hoop earrings, and a few thin gold rings and bracelets. The subtle sparkle complemented your outfit perfectly, adding just the right amount of elegance.

Looking at yourself in the mirror, you ran a hand over your belly and took a deep breath. Okay, this works. It wasn't what you would've normally worn, but considering the changes in your body, it made you feel put together.

Just as you grabbed your bag, your phone buzzed again.

Jungkook [6:55 PM]: Baby, are you on your way? I keep looking for you in the crowd.

You smiled, heart fluttering at the thought of him waiting for you.

You [6:56 PM]: Leaving now. I'll be there soon. Focus on your fight, I'll be cheering for you.

With one last glance in the mirror, you headed out, ready to support Jungkook on his big night. With that, you grabbed your things and headed out, heart racing with anticipation for the night ahead.

As soon as the taxi pulled up outside the venue, you spotted Mina standing near the entrance, her arms crossed as she scanned the crowd. The moment she saw you, her face lit up, and she waved excitedly.

"Finally!" she grinned as you stepped out of the car. "I was starting to think you weren't gonna make it."

You laughed, adjusting your dress before walking up to her. "You have no idea how long it took me to find something to wear," you sighed dramatically. "Nothing fits the same anymore."

Mina's eyes immediately flickered to your growing bump, and she let out a soft gasp. "Oh my God, Y/n, you're really starting to show!" She reached out, but hesitated. "Can I?"

You rolled your eyes playfully and nodded. "Of course."

She placed her hands gently on your belly, her expression softening. "Wow... this is crazy." She looked up at you with an excited smile. "You look amazing, by the way. And those gold heels? Iconic."

You chuckled, looping your arm through hers. "Well, someone has to keep up appearances while Jungkook's out there punching people."

Mina laughed. "Speaking of, let's get inside before we miss anything. I need to see this man in action."

With that, the two of you made your way inside, the energy of the crowd buzzing around you. Tonight was going to be intense, but at least you had Mina by your side.

As you and Mina made your way towards security, she gave you a playful side-eye before smirking. "Okay, but be honest... Jungkook really left you with that afterglow, huh?"

You blinked at her, confused for a second before realizing what she meant. "Mina!" you gasped, lightly smacking her arm as she burst into laughter.

"I'm just saying!" she giggled, raising her hands defensively. "You're pregnant, glowing, looking all elegant in that dress with your little gold jewelry moment—girl, I swear, some people struggle through pregnancy, but you? You're out here looking like a goddess."

You shook your head, rolling your eyes but unable to stop the small smile creeping onto your lips. "Trust me, I do not feel like a goddess most days."

"Well, you do today," Mina said with a knowing grin. "No wonder Jungkook's obsessed. You're literally glowing. He really did a number on you."

You let out an exasperated sigh, but a laugh bubbled up right after. "Can you not embarrass me before we even get to our seats?"

Mina winked. "No promises. Now, let's go see your man in the ring before I get too distracted hyping you up."

As you approached the check-in area, you gave your name to the event staff, expecting to just be guided toward general seating. But before you could even ask, one of the security guards gave you a polite nod.

"Ah, Miss Y/n, right?" he confirmed, checking his list. At your nod, he continued, "We have special seating arranged for you. Someone will escort you there."

Before you could even react, Mina let out a dramatic gasp, gripping your arm. "Ohhh, special seating?" she teased, eyes sparkling with mischief. "Of course, Jungkook's queen gets VIP treatment."

You shot her a look. "Mina, please."

The security guard only smiled, clearly unfazed by her teasing, as he gestured for you both to follow him. Mina, however, wasn't about to let this go.

"This man is so in love, it's insane," she whispered as you walked. "Like, special seats? For you? He really said, 'My baby mama does not sit with the commoners.'"

You groaned, covering your face with one hand. "I can't take you anywhere."

Mina just laughed, linking her arm with yours as you were led toward the VIP section. "No, but seriously, this is actually really sweet. He's making sure you're comfortable even when he's about to get punched in the face for a living. If that's not love, I don't know what is."

You bit your lip, warmth blooming in your chest. As much as Mina was teasing, you couldn't deny that Jungkook had gone out of his way to make sure you were taken care of.

Maybe this was just a boxing event to everyone else, but to him, it was more than that—you were his person, and he wanted you to be part of this moment in the best way possible.

As you and Mina stepped into the VIP section, you immediately noticed how close it was to the boxing ring. The seats weren't just good—they were perfect. You had a clear, uninterrupted view of the entire event, close enough to see every movement, every expression, every drop of sweat.

Mina let out a low whistle as she took her seat beside you. "Damn, Jungkook really wasn't playing around. He wanted to make sure you had the best view of him beating someone up."

You chuckled, shaking your head as you adjusted in your seat. "Or he just wanted to make sure I wasn't too far away. You know how he is."

Mina nudged you. "Yeah, yeah, Mr. 'I worry about you every second of the day' Jeon Jungkook." She smirked before leaning in to whisper, "But I mean, I kinda get it. If my girl was pregnant with my kid, I'd probably be extra, too."

You rolled your eyes but couldn't help the small smile forming on your lips. Before you could say anything, the sound of the announcer's voice echoed through the venue, signaling that the event was about to begin.

Your heart started beating a little faster as you glanced toward the ring, knowing that soon, Jungkook would be stepping into it. This was his moment, and you were right here, front and center, to witness it all.

As you sat there waiting, the excitement in the air only seemed to make time slow down. You glanced over at Mina, who was practically buzzing with energy, but your thoughts kept drifting to the baby. The calm before the storm, as you both waited for the event to begin, seemed like the perfect moment to bring up something you'd been thinking about for a while.

"Hey," you started, turning to Mina. "Do you think it's a girl or a boy?"

Mina grinned, her eyes lighting up. "I'm leaning toward girl, to be honest. I just have this feeling." She paused, thinking for a second. "I don't know, something about how you're glowing, I think you're gonna have a little mini-you running around soon."

You chuckled softly, resting your hand on your stomach. "I've been wondering the same thing. Part of me is kind of hoping for a girl... but then I think, maybe a boy would be easier, right?"

Mina tilted her head. "Why's that?"

"Well, with a boy, I feel like maybe they'd be more chill?" you mused, tapping your chin. "Like, a girl might be all over the place, super emotional and dramatic. I'm already nervous about that."

Mina laughed. "Oh, honey, you're already dramatic, so a girl might just be your perfect match."

You shot her a look, laughing. "Wow, thanks for the support."

"But seriously, though," Mina continued, "I can't wait to see what they'll be like when they're older. I think about that a lot. What if they take after one of us more than the other?"

You smiled, imagining a tiny version of either you or Jungkook. "I think they'll probably be a perfect mix of the two of us... kind of stubborn, a little playful, but also really sweet."

"Definitely a lot of attitude," Mina added with a grin.

"Yeah, especially if they take after him," you said, gesturing toward the ring. "Imagine a mini Jungkook running around. A handful, but I wouldn't mind it."

Mina nodded, her expression softening a little. "Either way, you're going to be an amazing mom. Both of you will be."

Your heart swelled at her words. "Thanks, Mina. I'm still figuring everything out, but... I can't wait for them to get here."

As you looked back toward the ring, your mind started to wander to the future—the life you and Jungkook would build for your child. Whatever the gender, you knew that it would be a wild, beautiful ride ahead.

The cheers around you intensified, the crowd roaring for Jungkook as the atmosphere became even more charged. You could feel the excitement in the air, and just as you were about to focus back on the ring, the guy sitting next to Mina leaned over and casually introduced himself.

"Hey, I'm Taehyung," he said with a smile, his voice friendly but laced with a certain charm. He seemed to be trying to make light conversation, his energy radiating confidence as he spoke. "I don't think we've met before. I'm one of Kook's friends."

You paused for a moment, eyes widening slightly. As he mentioned his name, a sudden memory flickered in your mind—the old woman from your neighborhood, the one who always seemed to know everything, had mentioned a "Taehyung" before. The realization hit you, and you smiled, a little taken aback by the coincidence.

"Taehyung?" you repeated, still processing. "That's funny, I think... I've heard of you before. My neighbor—" you stopped, thinking better of it for a second.

You couldn't help but ask, the connection on your mind still lingering. "Wait, do you know my neighbor, Mrs. Kim?" you asked, leaning in slightly, trying to gauge his reaction.

Taehyung paused, giving you a curious look before nodding, a soft chuckle escaping his lips. "Mrs. Kim? Yeah, I know her. She's my aunt. Well, technically, my great aunt, but I've always called her Mrs. Kim. Small world, huh?" He smiled, clearly amused by the coincidence.

You raised an eyebrow, almost laughing yourself. "Oh my gosh, you're Mrs. Kim's nephew? That's crazy. She's been trying to set me up with you for the longest time, without even knowing me or seeing me!"

Mina's eyes widened in amusement, and she couldn't help but laugh along with you. "Wait, really? She tried to set you two up without even knowing anything about each other?"

You nodded, chuckling. "Yeah, she kept telling me how perfect you'd be for me. She went on and on about how I needed to find someone like you." You shook your head, still laughing at the thought of it.

Taehyung's eyes widened in disbelief, before bursting into laughter. "That sounds just like her. I swear, she's got some kind of matchmaking radar." He glanced at you, his tone playful. "Well, I guess I can see where she was coming from... can't blame her for having great taste."

Mina let out a loud laugh, teasing, "Look at him, fishing for compliments already."

You rolled your eyes but couldn't help but laugh too. "I had no idea she was that determined to set me up with you. I never thought I'd actually meet you here." You shook your head, still amused by the randomness of it all. "She'll be so happy when I tell her I met you. She probably already has a whole plan in her head about how she'll introduce us properly."

"Uh-oh," Taehyung said, holding up his hands in mock horror. "I might need to avoid her for a while, then! She sounds like she's got the whole thing mapped out already."

The three of you continued laughing at the absurdity of the situation, the tension from earlier now completely dissolved. It was a funny and unexpected twist to the night, one that made you feel more connected to the people around you, even in such a big event.

You couldn't help but chuckle softly at his playful demeanor, even as your mind continued to linger on the conversation you'd had with the old woman. She had mentioned Taehyung when you were talking about your neighbors and their families, but you hadn't given it much thought at the time. Now, with him sitting right next to you, it felt oddly familiar in a way that made you think about how small the world really was.

He turned his attention back to you, still unaware of the connection you had with Jungkook. "So, what brings you two here tonight?" he asked, giving you both a curious glance. "I'm guessing you're here to see Kook, right?"

You nodded, trying to keep things casual as your mind raced. "Yeah, we're here to support him. It's his big night." You smiled, hoping it didn't sound too off as you said it.

Taehyung's eyes softened for a second. "Well, I can't blame you for wanting to be here. Kook's been working so hard for this. I can already tell he's gonna crush it tonight." He looked back toward the ring, his expression serious for a moment before he flashed you both another grin. "But I have to admit... you two are definitely the most interesting people I've met all night. You've got that something special about you."

Mina rolled her eyes playfully but was clearly enjoying the attention. "Keep it up, Taehyung. You're a smooth talker, I'll give you that."

As the energy in the arena continued to buzz, you tried to focus back on Jungkook's upcoming fight, but there was still a nagging feeling in your mind about Taehyung—and the mention of his name by your neighbor. You couldn't shake the feeling that things were about to get even more interesting.

After what felt like an eternity, the lights in the arena suddenly flickered off, plunging everything into darkness. The buzz in the crowd shifted to an electrifying tension as anticipation grew. The sounds of people shifting in their seats and the whispers between them faded into the background.

Then, the announcer's voice boomed through the speakers, deep and powerful, sending a chill of excitement through everyone in the room. "Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the main event!" he declared, his voice echoing through the arena. "The moment you've all been waiting for!"

The crowd erupted into a deafening roar, the energy in the room almost overwhelming. You could feel your heart pounding in your chest as adrenaline coursed through you. Mina squeezed your hand, her excitement matching yours.

The announcer continued, "In the blue corner, Beom Chan, standing in the red corner, the challenger... please welcome... Jeon Jungkook!"

The crowd went absolutely wild, screaming, whistling, and cheering with all their might. The noise was so loud it nearly drowned out the announcer's voice. You could barely hear your own thoughts as you stood, cheering along with everyone else. Jungkook's name echoed off the walls as the excitement hit a fever pitch.

As the lights flashed back on, you caught a glimpse of Jungkook entering the ring, looking focused and determined. His intense presence instantly made your heart race even faster. You couldn't help but smile, proud and filled with admiration as you saw him in his element.

"Go, Kook!" Mina shouted beside you, and you joined her, your voice lost in the cheers that surrounded you.

It was finally time, and you couldn't wait to see your man do what he did best. The countdown had ended, and now, everything hinged on what was about to unfold in that ring.

The match was intense from the moment it started. You could feel the electricity in the air, the crowd roaring with each punch thrown. The two fighters were evenly matched at first, each of them giving it their all. But as the rounds went on, it became clear that Jungkook was in complete control of the ring.

With every move, he displayed precision and power, his training evident in every punch and dodge. His footwork was flawless, and you could see how determined he was. He wasn't just fighting to win—he was dominating, making his opponent struggle to keep up with his speed and strength.

You found yourself leaning forward, completely engrossed in the match. Jungkook moved like he was born for this, and you could feel the pride building up inside you. Every time his fist landed with a thud, the crowd would cheer, and you could hear Mina's voice next to you, shouting words of encouragement.

"Come on, Kook! You've got this!" Mina yelled, clearly swept up in the excitement.

Your heart raced as Jungkook dodged another blow and countered with a devastating punch that left his opponent reeling. The cheers grew louder, and you could see the determination in his eyes as he kept his focus, refusing to let up. He was a force to be reckoned with, and there was no doubt in your mind that he was going to win this fight.

The sweat glistened on his face, and you couldn't help but admire his strength and dedication. He wasn't just fighting for himself—he was fighting for everyone he cared about. And the way he moved in the ring, so confident and in control, made you feel even prouder of him.

As the final round came to an end, it was clear who the winner would be. Jungkook's opponent was struggling, unable to keep up with Jungkook's speed and power. The referee stepped in, and the crowd went wild as the bell rang, signaling the end of the fight.

Jungkook stood tall in the center of the ring, breathing heavily but victorious. The roar of the crowd was deafening as they cheered for him, chanting his name. You could see the pride on his face as he raised his fists in victory.

As the referee raised Jungkook's hand in victory, the crowd erupted into an even louder roar. You couldn't help but feel a sense of pride flood through you. The cheers were deafening, but in that moment, everything seemed to quiet down for just a second as Jungkook's eyes locked onto yours in the VIP section.

He flashed you that familiar, confident smirk—the one that always made your heart race. It was like he was saying, I did this for you, and you could feel the warmth in your chest.

For a moment, the world outside of that ring and the cheers around you disappeared. Jungkook's gaze was enough to make everything feel right. He briefly looked away to acknowledge the crowd, but his smirk remained, and you could feel the unspoken connection between the two of you.

Mina leaned over, grinning from ear to ear. "He's looking right at you! You're his motivation, aren't you?"

You couldn't help but blush, turning your attention back to Jungkook, who was now taking in the victory. "I guess you could say that," you responded, your voice soft but filled with warmth. It was true—Jungkook's drive and strength were driven by more than just his love for boxing. There was a deeper layer to it now, a future that he was building for the two of you.

The crowd's cheers continued to echo, but you felt like you were in your own world as Jungkook raised his hands in victory. You knew that this moment was more than just a win for him—it was a win for all of you.

Mina turned to you, her eyes wide with excitement. "He did it! He really dominated out there!"

You nodded, smiling so wide your cheeks hurt. "I knew he would. He's amazing."

Taehyung, still grinning and clearly impressed with Jungkook's performance, chuckled and leaned back in his seat. "See? I knew he would win. It's Jungkook after all. That guy's unstoppable."

You nodded in agreement, a smile tugging at your lips as you watched Jungkook in the ring, still riding the high of his victory. "Yeah, I could tell. He's just built for this," you said, feeling that familiar pride swell in your chest.

Mina shot Taehyung a playful smile. "You sound like a proud parent yourself, Taehyung."

He shrugged, still looking at Jungkook. "What can I say? He's like a brother to me. I've watched him train, and I know what he's capable of." He paused for a second before turning to you with a grin. "And I'm sure you're just as proud of him, huh?"

You smiled, feeling the rush of emotions from the win. "Definitely. He's incredible."

Taehyung nodded, clearly proud of Jungkook. "He deserves it. And I'm sure he'll keep pushing himself even further. That's just the way he is."

You couldn't help but feel grateful for Taehyung's support for Jungkook, but there was something else you needed to keep in mind. Taehyung had no idea about your pregnancy, and as he casually talked about Jungkook's future, you couldn't help but wonder how that conversation would go once he knew. But for now, it was nice to simply enjoy the moment and celebrate Jungkook's big win.

As the crowd's cheers continued to fill the arena, the atmosphere still buzzing with excitement, a security guard approached your section. With a polite nod, he leaned in, his voice low but clear. "Miss, it's time to take you to Mr. Jeon's room."

You glanced over at Mina, who gave you an excited smile, clearly happy for Jungkook. "Go on! He's waiting for you," she teased, giving you a little push toward the guard.

You gave her a small wave before following the security guard, the intensity of the crowd's cheers fading as you made your way through the backstage area. The moment you stepped out of the VIP section, the rush of the fight's energy seemed to quiet, leaving only the sound of your footsteps.

The security guard led you down a narrow corridor, passing various rooms and staff members rushing around. Finally, he stopped in front of a door that was clearly labeled with Jungkook's name. Before you could knock, the door opened slightly, revealing Jungkook standing there, a grin plastered on his face.

He looked even more electrifying up close—sweat still glistening on his skin, his muscles tense from the fight, but his smile was as wide as ever.

"Y/n," he said, his voice full of affection as he stepped aside to let you in. "I'm so glad you're here."

You walked inside, your heart still racing from everything that had just happened in the ring. Jungkook closed the door behind you, his eyes immediately scanning you from head to toe with admiration.

"You looked incredible out there," you said softly, your smile matching his.

Jungkook chuckled, running a hand through his messy hair. "I had to do it for you... for us," he said, his voice softening as he took a step closer to you. "I wanted to show you what I'm capable of."

His words made your heart flutter, and for a moment, it felt like everything around you had slowed down. The excitement of the fight was still in the air, but now you were here with him, where everything felt calm and right.

You smiled up at him, feeling the warmth of his presence fill the room. "You definitely did."

Jungkook's gaze lingered on you as he stepped closer, his smirk growing with every second. He couldn't help but appreciate how stunning you looked, even after the fight. His eyes traced the curves of your outfit, his lips curling into that familiar, teasing grin.

"You look... so damn good in that dress," he said, his voice low, his smirk turning a bit more mischievous. "It's like you knew I'd be looking at you all night. Couldn't take my eyes off you in that outfit."

His tone was playful, but there was something more intense beneath the words, something that made your stomach flip as he took another step closer, his presence overwhelming.

He leaned in slightly, his voice dropping even more as he added, "And those heels... I bet you've got everyone here wishing they were in my shoes right now."

You couldn't help but blush at his words, the way he looked at you making everything around you feel hotter. His smirk only deepened as he watched your reaction, clearly enjoying how he made you feel.

"Think you're the only one who's proud of me tonight?" he teased, his hand brushing lightly against your side as he took in your entire look, his eyes lingering. "I think you might just be my favorite part of the night."

You nervously laughed, feeling a warmth rush to your cheeks as you tried to shift the focus away from his teasing. "You're way too much," you mumbled, attempting to laugh it off. "Honestly, it took forever to find something that fit right. I didn't realize how much my body's changing—nothing seemed to fit!"

You plopped down onto the couch, letting out a small sigh as you relaxed for a moment. The tension in the air was still there, but now you were desperately trying to steer the conversation somewhere less intense.

"I've got so many dresses, but none of them fit anymore," you continued, half-joking, half-frustrated. "I thought I was going to be late because I couldn't find anything that would even zip up."

Jungkook chuckled, his smirk softening as he walked over and sat next to you on the couch, looking over at you with a fond smile. "I think you look perfect, though," he said, his tone light but sincere. "But I guess that's why I'm here, huh? To help you find the perfect outfit..."

You rolled your eyes, relieved he was taking the conversation in stride. "I think next time, you should pick out my clothes," you said playfully, trying to shake off the nerves from earlier.

His gaze softened, and he nudged you gently with his shoulder. "Only if you want me to," he teased, his voice a little quieter. "But I think you've got it under control. You always do."

You smiled, feeling a little more at ease now, the conversation veering back to something comfortable and familiar.

Just as you were starting to relax and enjoy the moment, the door suddenly swung open, and Jungkook's manager walked in, clapping loudly and grinning from ear to ear.

"Another win for the champ!" he exclaimed, his voice full of excitement. "You did it again, Kook!" He walked right in, not giving a second glance at the private moment between you two.

Jungkook chuckled, looking at his manager with a playful shake of his head. "I don't know what's more exhausting—fighting or listening to your cheering," he teased, but there was no mistaking the pride in his voice.

The manager just waved it off with a grin. "You know I have to celebrate, right? You've got fans, a victory, and now I need to make sure you don't wear yourself out. Rest is important."

Jungkook leaned back into the couch, his gaze momentarily flickering toward you. "Yeah, I'll rest... soon," he said, clearly not wanting to get distracted from the attention and excitement. The manager didn't seem to notice, however, as he started talking to Jungkook about post-fight details, interviews, and the plans for the rest of the night.

You sat there quietly, smiling softly as you let them chat, but you couldn't help but feel a little more distant in the conversation now. The excitement of the win seemed to shift everything back to the world of business and boxing for Jungkook.

You looked over at him, a small smile on your face, and realized how much he had changed—how far he'd come. Even in the middle of all the chaos, though, you couldn't help but feel proud of him, even if you weren't the center of attention in that moment.

As his manager left the room, the door clicking shut behind him, the sudden quietness seemed to settle between you and Jungkook. Without a word, Jungkook jumped onto the couch next to you, his movements playful yet filled with relief. He settled in close, resting his head gently on your shoulder, his hand naturally drifting to rest on your stomach.

You felt the warmth of his touch, his fingers lightly brushing against your skin as he held you close, his body relaxed against yours. It was a quiet moment amidst the chaos of the night, one where you both could just be. His breathing slowed, and he closed his eyes, clearly appreciating the calm after the storm of the fight.

"You okay?" he murmured, his voice soft, almost vulnerable as he laid there, his hand still gently on your stomach.

You nodded, a small smile on your lips as you leaned your head against his. "Yeah, just... tired," you said, feeling the weight of the night settling in. "But I'm proud of you."

Jungkook chuckled softly, squeezing your stomach lightly. "You don't need to be proud of me. I'm proud of you, too," he replied, his voice full of sincerity. "I know tonight's about me, but honestly, you're the one who makes everything feel like it's all worth it."

You felt a rush of warmth at his words, leaning into him a little more. "I'm just happy we're doing this together... no matter what comes next."

Jungkook smiled, his hand softly stroking your stomach as he closed his eyes. "Yeah, me too." His voice dropped to a whisper. "I think about that a lot... what comes next. And I know we're gonna be okay."

For a few moments, you both sat there in comfortable silence, the noise of the arena and the world outside fading as you focused on each other. In this moment, everything felt calm, and the future didn't seem so uncertain.

Jungkook shifted slightly, his hand still resting gently on your stomach, his thumb brushing in slow circles. He glanced up at you, a soft smile playing on his lips. "I, uh, told my parents about you," he said, his voice light but filled with a sense of pride.

You looked at him curiously, your heart skipping a beat. "Oh?" you asked, a little surprised. "How'd they take it?"

He grinned, the excitement in his eyes clear. "They're actually really happy. My mom was over the moon when I told her about you," he said, his voice warm. "And when I told her about... us, well, she's already planning to meet you soon."

Your eyes widened slightly, and you couldn't help but feel a little nervous. "Meet me soon? Are you sure?" you asked, trying to steady your nerves. "I mean, I didn't know they'd want to meet so quickly."

Jungkook chuckled softly, nodding. "Yeah, they're excited. My mom especially. She's already asking when you're coming over. She wants to cook for you, get to know you better. My dad's more... chill about it, but I can tell he's happy for me."

He paused, looking down at your stomach for a moment before meeting your gaze again. "I think they're just really happy that we're starting this chapter, you know? They know it's moving fast, but they want to support us."

You felt a soft warmth spread through your chest at the thought of his parents being so welcoming. It was a lot to take in, especially with everything that had happened in such a short time. But hearing how excited they were made you feel a little more at ease.

"I guess that's a big step," you said, your voice a little quieter. "It's kind of overwhelming... but in a good way."

Jungkook's smile softened as he noticed the slight worry in your expression. His hand moved up to gently cup your cheek, his thumb brushing across your skin in slow, calming motions. "Hey, don't worry," he said, his voice steady and reassuring. "I haven't told them about the pregnancy yet."

You blinked in surprise, feeling a small sense of relief wash over you. "You haven't?" you asked, your voice barely above a whisper, trying to process everything he'd just shared.

He shook his head, his eyes meeting yours with that familiar tenderness. "No, I haven't. I want to tell them, but I want it to be the right time, you know?" He paused for a moment, his thumb still gently caressing your skin. "I want to make sure you're ready for it too. I know it's a lot, and I don't want to rush anything."

You let out a soft breath, feeling a weight lifting off your shoulders. The idea of telling his parents about the pregnancy had been lingering in your mind, and hearing that Jungkook was taking it slow gave you some comfort. It wasn't that you weren't ready, but there was so much to navigate, and the timing felt important.

"Thank you," you said quietly, your gaze softening. "I appreciate that."

Jungkook smiled, leaning in just slightly to rest his forehead against yours. "Of course. We're a team. We do everything together, in our own time. And when we're ready, we'll tell them. No pressure."

You nodded, feeling more at ease. Jungkook's calmness and thoughtfulness were exactly what you needed right now. It didn't matter how fast everything else had been moving—together, you'd figure it all out.

Jungkook pulled back slightly, still resting his hand on your stomach, but his expression shifted to something more excited. "This event was huge," he said, his eyes lighting up with pride. "I mean, the crowd, the energy—it's all so intense. And winning... it feels so damn good."

You could see the rush of excitement in his eyes as he spoke, the adrenaline from the fight still lingering in his words. "It's not just the win, though. The pay is a lot. This is a big deal for me, for us." He chuckled, shaking his head a little as if trying to process the magnitude of it.

"I'm not just talking about the victory, but the future. This event puts me on the map even more. More sponsorships, more opportunities coming my way. And I want to make sure we're set, you know? It's all for us, for the baby. I want to make sure everything is stable."

You felt a surge of pride for him, hearing how seriously he was taking everything—not just for himself, but for your future together. It was clear that this win was more than just a personal achievement for him; it was part of a larger plan.

"That's incredible, Jungkook," you said, smiling up at him. "I'm so proud of you. This is huge."

He grinned, his hand giving your stomach a gentle squeeze. "We're gonna be okay, Y/n," he said softly, his voice full of determination. "This is just the beginning."

The way he spoke about the future made everything feel a little more certain, even with all the changes happening. Jungkook was ready to face whatever came next with you by his side.

You shifted slightly, glancing at the time and realizing it was getting late. "Hey, I should probably start heading back," you said softly. "Mina was planning on staying at my place tonight."

As soon as the words left your mouth, Jungkook groaned, his arms tightening around you as he pulled you in closer. His head rested against yours, and you could feel the playful pout in his voice. "No," he complained, "you look way too good to leave right now."

He let out a dramatic sigh, clearly not wanting to let go. "I don't want you to leave. Not looking like that. You can't just leave me here after showing up looking so... perfect." He pulled you in even closer, his grip strong but gentle.

You laughed softly, feeling both his frustration and affection. "Jungkook," you said, teasing him, "I'm not going anywhere forever, you know. Just a quick trip back home for a night with Mina."

He shook his head, giving a little playful whine. "I just want you here," he muttered, his arms still wrapped around you. "Can't you stay just a little longer? Just a bit more... I'll miss you too much."

You smiled at his childishness, feeling your heart soften. "I'll come back soon, I promise," you reassured him, giving him a gentle kiss on his cheek. "Besides, it'll give you some time to relax and celebrate your win without me distracting you."

Jungkook finally let out a small sigh of resignation, but his smile returned, albeit with a hint of mischief in his eyes. "Fine, but next time, you're not leaving so soon," he warned playfully.

You chuckled, leaning into him one last time before getting up to head out. "Deal."

As you made your way to the door, you could feel Jungkook's gaze on you. His eyes lingered on you for a moment longer than usual, taking in the way you looked. His expression shifted, and you heard him let out a soft groan, almost under his breath.

You turned back to look at him, curious. "What's wrong?" you asked with a teasing smile.

Jungkook ran a hand through his hair, looking frustrated yet amused. "I'm just... trying really hard to hold back," he admitted, his voice filled with that playful frustration. "You look too good, and I'm not even going to lie—it's hard to just let you go."

You laughed softly, your heart fluttering a little at his words. "You'll survive," you teased, giving him a wink as you walked toward the door.

Jungkook sighed dramatically, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Yeah, I'll survive," he muttered, watching you leave. "But it doesn't make it any easier."

Before you opened the door to leave, you couldn't help but mention something that had been on your mind. "Oh, by the way," you said casually, "I met Taehyung tonight. He was clearly flirting with Mina."

Jungkook's eyes rolled at the mention of his friend's name, and he let out an exaggerated sigh. "Typical," he muttered with a smirk. "He doesn't know how to turn it off. It's like his second job or something." He shook his head, clearly not too concerned but still amused by Taehyung's antics.

You laughed at Jungkook's reaction. "He was harmless about it, though," you reassured him, trying to lighten the mood. "Mina didn't seem to mind."

Jungkook gave you a knowing look, though. "Yeah, well, I'm sure he'll try to do that with you too next time. Just... don't let him get carried away," he teased, his playful protective side coming out.

You raised an eyebrow, smirking back at him. "Are you jealous, Jungkook?" you asked, half-joking, half-curious about his reaction.

He grinned, squeezing your hand. "Not jealous," he said confidently. "Just... making sure Taehyung knows who's really got your attention."

You laughed, shaking your head. "Don't worry. You've definitely got my attention."

He smiled, clearly satisfied, and pulled you into a quick hug before you could leave. "Good," he murmured, holding you for a second longer. "Just remember that when Taehyung starts his usual act."

You smiled to yourself, feeling reassured and a little amused at the playful dynamic between you, Jungkook, and his friends as you left for the night.

As you made your way back to the entrance, you couldn't help but notice Mina and Taehyung standing near the door. Mina was laughing at something Taehyung had said, and the two of them were clearly deep in conversation. Taehyung, as expected, was doing his usual thing—flirting, effortlessly charming her with his playful smile and teasing words.

You stopped for a moment, watching them interact. Mina seemed to be enjoying herself, laughing at whatever Taehyung was saying, but you could tell that he wasn't holding back on the flirtation.

Rolling your eyes in amusement, you couldn't help but smile to yourself. "Well, that's just typical," you muttered, thinking back to Jungkook's reaction earlier.

Mina noticed you standing there and waved you over, a mischievous grin on her face. "Hey, are you leaving already?" she called, still talking to Taehyung but clearly making space for you to join the conversation.

Taehyung shot you a quick, knowing look as you walked up, his grin widening a little. "Leaving so soon?" he asked, his tone still flirtatious. "I thought we were just getting started."

You chuckled, giving him a playful look. "You're really working that charm on her, huh?" you teased, nodding toward Mina.

Taehyung's grin only grew, and he shrugged nonchalantly. "I can't help it. She's irresistible."

Mina rolled her eyes but smiled, clearly not minding the attention. "Alright, you two. Let's get going," she said, giving you a look that was equal parts amusement and playfulness. "I'll make sure he doesn't keep flirting with me all night."

You laughed, feeling more relaxed now, and joined them both as they prepared to leave. Jungkook's playful jealousy earlier suddenly seemed far away, and you were ready for whatever the night had left in store.

You and Mina hopped into a taxi together, the evening air cool as you both settled into the backseat. The car pulled away from the venue, the city lights flickering past the windows as you both sat in comfortable silence for a moment.

Mina broke the silence first, a teasing smile on her lips. "So, how was Jungkook? He seemed a little... clingy when you were leaving."

You laughed softly, rolling your eyes. "He's just being dramatic," you said with a smirk. "He didn't want me to leave looking like this," you gestured to your outfit, "but he'll live."

Mina raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. "I get it, though. You looked amazing tonight. And he's probably not used to you looking this good with the baby bump and everything."

You shrugged playfully, feeling a little embarrassed at the compliment. "Well, it's a bit strange... seeing the changes. I still don't feel like me sometimes. But Jungkook's been really supportive."

Mina smiled warmly, giving your hand a light squeeze. "I'm glad he's being good to you. You deserve it."

You smiled back, grateful for Mina's friendship. The ride continued quietly, the soft hum of the city outside filling the space as you both relaxed, letting the busy night fade away. It felt nice to just be with Mina, talking and unwinding after everything that had happened.
