Jungkook grits his teeth, his muscles tense with frustration as his fists collide with the punching bag. Each punch is harder than the last, his mind clouded with thoughts of you. The anger, the regret, the confusion—all of it fueling his relentless strikes. He can't shake the feeling that he messed up, that he pushed you away when all he wanted was to make things right.

His breath comes out heavy, sweat dripping down his face, but it's not enough to release the weight on his chest. He slams his fist into the bag once more, willing himself to stop thinking about it, but every time, your face pops into his mind.

He takes a deep breath, stepping back for a moment, wiping his brow. The exhaustion is starting to catch up with him, but the anger still lingers, simmering under the surface.

Jungkook stands in the gym, drenched in sweat, his fists pounding relentlessly into the punching bag. The impact echoes in the quiet space, each hit filled with frustration, guilt, and confusion. His knuckles are raw, but he doesn't care. Every punch is a desperate attempt to release the tension building inside him.

Four days. Four days of silence from you, and it feels like a lifetime. He hasn't been able to focus, hasn't been able to do anything right. He's replayed everything in his mind over and over again—the arguments, the mistakes, and the way you walked out.

He slams his fist into the bag again, the leather groaning under the force. The thought of you being out there, unsure, hurting, or worse, already having made your decision without him, makes his stomach churn.

His breath comes in ragged gasps as he backs away, frustration bubbling over. He's tried everything—called, texted, reached out in any way he could—but nothing. No response. He's stuck, and he doesn't know how to fix it.

"Dammit..." he mutters under his breath, wiping his face with the back of his hand. He's not sure what he expects, but he feels like he's running out of time.

Taehyung sits down next to Jungkook, glancing over at him with a playful smirk. "So, what's going on, man? Something on your mind?" he asks, noticing how Jungkook seems off today.

Jungkook leans back, rubbing his tired face. "Nah, just boxing," he mutters, trying to act like everything's fine.

Taehyung raises an eyebrow, clearly not buying it. "Come on, you sure it's just boxing? Could it be... girls?" he teases, a mischievous grin spreading across his face.

Jungkook side-eyes him with a small smile, his mood lifting a little. "You never quit, do you?" he says, shaking his head, but the smile on his face betrays his attempt to stay serious.

Taehyung chuckles, nudging him with his shoulder. "Hey, I'm just saying! You've been acting a little different lately. What's going on? You got a thing for someone or what?"

Jungkook shifts uncomfortably, his smile faltering a bit. He knew exactly who Taehyung was referring to. "It's... nothing," Jungkook mutters, though his tone isn't as confident as usual. "I just got a lot on my mind."

Taehyung gives him a knowing look. "Uh-huh, sure. You're telling me it's just boxing then? You don't look like you're focusing on your punches, more like you're thinking about something else."

Jungkook rolls his eyes, but there's a hint of something in his expression. Taehyung's teasing hits a little too close to home, but it was hard to ignore the truth in his words. "Alright, fine," he says with a reluctant laugh. "Maybe it's... someone. But it's complicated, okay?"

Taehyung leans back, crossing his arms with a grin. "Complicated? That's the best kind. You know you can't hide anything from me, right?"

Jungkook chuckles, shaking his head. "Yeah, I know. But it's... just a mess right now. I'll figure it out."

Taehyung shrugs, still grinning. "Well, just don't keep ignoring it. You know where to find me if you need advice."

Taehyung leans back on the bench, stretching his arms out, his eyes lighting up. "Man, we need a break. Like the old times," he says, with a mischievous grin. "Drinking, clubbing, having a blast. And hey, maybe we'll even find a cute girl or two to keep things interesting."

Jungkook raises an eyebrow at him, but a small laugh escapes his lips. "You and your distractions, Tae," he teases, shaking his head.

Taehyung shrugs, his grin widening. "Hey, I'm just saying. Sometimes you gotta get out of your head and enjoy the night. You can't be stuck in your thoughts all the time, especially if there's someone you like and you're overthinking everything."

Jungkook's smile fades slightly, but he doesn't say anything. Taehyung notices the change and raises an eyebrow. "I know, I know," Taehyung continues. "It's not like you're ready for distractions right now. But when you're ready to take your mind off things... just say the word."

Jungkook stays silent for a moment, staring ahead. "Maybe," he mutters, the thought of going out pulling at him, but his mind keeps drifting back to you. "Maybe it's not a bad idea."

Taehyung claps him on the back with a grin. "That's the spirit. Let's just get out there when you're ready, and I'll show you how to unwind properly."

Jungkook half-smiles, appreciating Taehyung's attempt to cheer him up. "Maybe after the next match," he says, his mind still elsewhere.

Taehyung shakes his head, a teasing smile on his face. "Nope, tomorrow," he says firmly. "And I'm not accepting any other answer."

Jungkook groans, running a hand through his hair in frustration. "I can't be bothered, Tae. Seriously, I don't feel like it." He swears under his breath, clearly irritated. "I've got too much on my mind. I don't need distractions right now."

Taehyung gives him a knowing look. "I get it, man. But you've been in your head for days. You need a break, even if it's just for one night. Trust me, a little fun won't hurt."

Jungkook leans back against the wall, staring at the ground, conflicted. "I don't know... I don't think I'm ready for that."

Taehyung doesn't back down. "Tomorrow. No excuses. We'll go out, have a drink, and if nothing else, at least you'll get a change of scenery."

Jungkook sighs, clearly not in the mood but unable to argue. "Fine, fine. Tomorrow. But don't say I didn't warn you."

Taehyung smirks. "Deal. I'll hold you to it."

Taehyung chuckles, shaking his head. "Man, I need to go out and find a new girl anyway," he says, leaning back in his chair with a smirk. "I've been feeling frisky all week."

Jungkook lets out a laugh, the tension in his shoulders easing slightly as he stands up, walking over to the punching bag. He punches it hard, the sound of it echoing through the gym. "You never change, do you, Tae?" he says, trying to focus on the bag, but the weight of his thoughts is still heavy.

Taehyung watches him for a moment, noticing how distracted Jungkook looks. "You sure you're good, man?" he asks, raising an eyebrow. "I know you're acting tough, but something's off. You don't just start hitting the bag like that for no reason."

Jungkook doesn't look up, his jaw clenched as he continues punching. "I'm fine. Just... a lot on my mind."

Taehyung doesn't press further but leans back, folding his arms with a knowing look. "Alright, but if you change your mind, you know where to find me."

Jungkook throws a playful glance over his shoulder as he continues punching the bag. "I'll find you in the club like always," he jokes, smirking.

Taehyung bursts into laughter, shaking his head. "Touche," he says, raising his hands in mock surrender. "You know me too well." He leans back in his chair, crossing his arms. "Alright, man, I'll give you some space. But if you change your mind, you better not be too proud to come out."

Jungkook gives him a small nod, though his mind is still elsewhere. "Yeah, yeah, I'll think about it." He throws one last punch at the bag, trying to shake off the thoughts that have been clouding his mind for days.

Jungkook couldn't help but check his phone every minute, his thumb swiping mindlessly through his social media. Each time he saw your name or your profile picture, his heart skipped a beat, hoping for some sign, some message from you. But every time, it was nothing. Just your story, silent and indifferent, showing a life he was no longer a part of.

He sighed, leaning back against the gym wall, feeling ridiculous. He wasn't the type to obsess over anyone, especially not like this. But you—you were different. You were carrying his child. He should be there for you, supporting you. He wasn't supposed to feel this powerless, this helpless.

"Fuck," he muttered under his breath. He hated feeling like a stalker, refreshing your profile, hoping for any hint that you were okay. But how could he not? He felt responsible—more than that. You were his family now, in a way. But you weren't answering. And that made everything feel ten times worse.

With a sigh, he threw his phone onto the bench, running a hand through his hair. He just wanted to fix things. But with every second that passed, it felt like he was slipping further from you.

You groaned again, feeling a little full but still unsatisfied as you stared at the empty container. The chocolate had been so sweet, and the strawberries so juicy, but now that it was all gone, the craving hadn't disappeared. In fact, it felt like it had only intensified. You couldn't explain it; you just needed more strawberries, more of that sweetness.

You stood up, going over to the fridge, your mind not fully processing anything other than the need to fill the craving. You quickly grabbed another container of strawberries, still unsure of how you were able to eat so many in such a short time. But you couldn't resist. You washed them quickly, already thinking about how they'd taste when paired with the chocolate again. The craving felt like it was taking over.

As you sat back down with the new batch, you couldn't help but wonder how long this would last. Would it be just a phase, or was something else going on?

You gently placed your hand on your stomach, feeling the small but noticeable roundness that had been growing over the past few weeks. A soft sigh escaped your lips as you stared at the strawberries in front of you, the craving still strong despite your initial satisfaction.

"Why do you only want strawberries and chocolate?" you asked quietly, half-amused and half-curious. You weren't sure if it was the pregnancy or something else causing the strange cravings, but it felt like your body was calling the shots now, not you.

The thought made you smile softly, the idea that a little person inside you could influence what you wanted to eat, what you felt, and maybe even how you saw the world. You took another strawberry, dipped it into the chocolate, and slowly ate it, still wondering what else this pregnancy would bring your way.

You quickly glanced at your phone, seeing your boss's name flash on the screen. A wave of nervousness washed over you, realizing you'd forgotten to call him about your time off. You took a deep breath, trying to steady your nerves, and answered the call.

"Hello, Mr. Lin," you said, forcing a calm tone into your voice.

"Y/n, where have you been? We've been trying to reach you," your boss's voice came through the phone, a little firm but not too harsh.

You hesitated for a moment, trying to find the right words. "I'm really sorry about that. I've been going through some personal things, and it's been a bit overwhelming. I should've let you know sooner, but I wasn't feeling up to it." You winced slightly, hoping he'd understand.

There was a brief silence on the other end before he sighed. "I understand. Just let us know next time, alright? We've got a lot of work piling up, and we need you back here when you can. Take care of yourself, though."

You nodded even though he couldn't see you. "Thank you for understanding, Mr. Lin. I'll keep in touch and let you know when I'm ready to come back."

The call ended, and you let out a breath you didn't realize you were holding. The tension slowly faded as you set your phone down. Now, with that out of the way, you felt a little more at ease, but still, your mind was racing with everything else going on.

You open your messages and type a quick text to Mina, letting her know how things are going, especially with everything that's been on your mind. She quickly replies, sending a string of question marks and "Call me" in the next message. Before you can even put the phone down, your screen lights up with a FaceTime call from her.

You sigh, smiling softly as you answer. "Hey, Mina."

She immediately waves at the camera, her face full of concern. "You okay? You've been super quiet lately. What's going on?" Her tone is gentle, but there's an urgency in her eyes.

You glance away for a second, feeling a bit overwhelmed by everything. "I'm... I don't really know how to explain it all. It's been a lot, honestly."

Mina's expression softens as she leans in closer to the camera. "You know you can tell me anything, right? What's been going on with you? You're usually not this distant."

You take a deep breath, not sure how to start. "It's... Jungkook, Mina. There's so much going on with him, with me... I feel like I'm stuck in this whirlwind, and I don't know what to do."

She raises an eyebrow. "Wait, Jungkook? What's happened with him? Did something happen between you two?" Her voice is full of concern now, and you know she's about to be on full alert.

You hesitate, deciding to let it all spill out.

You sigh deeply, your fingers playing with the edge of your sleeve as you speak. "So... Jungkook and I got into a huge argument. It started because he... well, he was being all over the place about everything. He wants to be involved with the pregnancy, but it's like, I don't even know where I stand with him. I couldn't take it anymore, Mina. I just left."

You pause for a moment, your voice shaking slightly. "I'm at my family's house now, just trying to get some space. My mom and dad are here, so I'm staying with them to think things over, but it's... I don't know. Everything feels like a mess."

Mina stays silent for a beat, taking in what you said. "Y/n, I can't even imagine how confusing and overwhelming all of that must be. You're not only dealing with the pregnancy, but now everything with Jungkook and this mess... But you know, leaving doesn't mean it's over. You just needed time, right?"

You nod even though she can't see you, your voice small. "Yeah, I just... I don't want to make a decision I'm going to regret, especially with everything going on. But it hurts so much, Mina. Like, he's the father of the baby, but we can't even get along. How is that supposed to work?"

Mina's expression softens, and you can see her thinking deeply. "You're right that it's not going to be easy, but this is your decision. Don't let anyone pressure you. Not even Jungkook. He's clearly still figuring things out himself."

She leans forward, her voice serious but comforting. "I get why you needed a break. Take your time, and when you're ready, we'll figure it out together. But for now, just focus on you. You deserve that."

You feel a little lighter hearing her words, and you let out a shaky breath. "Thanks, Mina. Really."

She gives you a soft smile through the screen. "Anytime. Just know I'm here for you, no matter what."

The warmth of her reassurance makes the situation feel a little more bearable.

Mina's face turns serious as she asks, "Are you going to tell your parents?"

You take a deep breath, looking away for a moment, before you reply, "I think I have to. It's getting harder to hide it. Every time I touch my stomach, it feels like it's getting bigger, and they've been asking me a lot of questions. They know something's up, but I just keep telling them I'm fine."

You frown, rubbing the back of your neck nervously. "But I don't know how to tell them yet. I don't want them to worry too much, and honestly, I'm scared of how they'll react. It's not just about the baby, but everything else... It feels like a lot to take in all at once."

Mina's expression softens, and she says gently, "Y/n, your parents love you. I'm sure they'll be worried, but they'll want to help you through this. I know it's scary, but you don't have to do this alone. You'll figure it out, okay?"

You nod slowly, but there's a flicker of uncertainty in your eyes. "I know... I just need a bit more time, I guess. I'm trying to get a handle on it myself first before I lay it all out for them."

Mina smiles sympathetically, her voice soothing. "Take your time. You don't have to have it all figured out right now. Just do what feels right for you."

You nod again, feeling a small sense of comfort, but the weight of the conversation still feels heavy. You know the moment to tell your parents is coming, and soon.

You glance down at your phone for a moment before looking back at Mina, a small knot forming in your stomach. "Hey, have you heard from Jungkook at all? I mean... other than social media?" you ask, trying to keep your voice casual, but there's an undeniable concern in your tone.

Mina shakes her head, her expression softening. "No, not really. I've only seen him posting about his next boxing event. He's been keeping busy with that, I guess."

You let out a sigh, feeling the weight of everything on your chest. "You know... he keeps spamming me with messages," you say, running a hand through your hair, "but I've been ignoring them. I'm just not ready to talk to him yet. I don't know what to say, Mina. Every time I see his name pop up, it just makes everything feel more complicated."

Mina's eyes soften with understanding, and she nods slowly. "I get it. It's like, you want to talk to him, but you also don't want to deal with all the mess that comes with it. I can't imagine how hard this must be."

You lean back on the bed, staring at the ceiling, your mind a whirlwind. "Exactly. Part of me wants to just ignore it all and focus on... well, I don't even know. But I can't just keep pretending everything's fine. This baby changes everything, and I don't know how to handle it yet."

Mina's voice is calm but firm as she replies, "You're not alone in this, Y/n. Take your time. If you're not ready to talk to him, then don't. You don't owe him anything right now. You need to focus on yourself and what you need."

You take a deep breath, trying to hold back the tears that threaten to spill. "I just don't want to regret anything. I don't want to make the wrong decision. I don't want to hurt anyone more than I already have."

Mina's expression softens, and she offers you a comforting smile. "You won't. You're doing the best you can with everything you've been given. Just remember, you don't have to go through this alone. And when you're ready, everything will start falling into place."

You smile a little, trying to lighten the mood as you shift the conversation. "So, how are things with you and Hobi? I haven't heard much lately."

Mina's face lights up, and you can hear the excitement in her voice as she replies, "Actually, things have been really good. We've been going on a few dates, and I didn't expect it to get so close so fast. It's like we've known each other for way longer than we have. He's just so easy to talk to, and he makes everything feel so... natural."

You feel a genuine smile tug at your lips, happy for her. "That's so cute, Mina. I'm glad to hear it's going well for you both."

She giggles, her voice softening with affection. "Yeah, I never thought it would be like this, but I'm really happy. He's really sweet, and I feel comfortable with him, which is... surprising, you know? We've only known each other for a short time, but I don't feel like it's rushed or anything."

"That's amazing," you say, a bit of warmth filling your chest. "You deserve someone like him, Mina. Just be sure to take it slow, alright? It sounds like it's really working out."

She laughs again, more playfully this time. "I will, I promise. You know I'm careful. But honestly, I think I'm starting to feel something real here."

You nod, a little envious but happy for her. "I'm really glad for you. You've been through so much, and you deserve some happiness."

Mina's smile is almost audible as she responds, "Thanks, Y/n. That means a lot. I'm always here for you, okay? Don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything, especially when you're figuring things out with Jungkook."

You feel a wave of gratitude toward her, knowing she'll be there for you no matter what.

Mina's voice softens as she asks, "What about the abortion thing? Have you thought about it?"

You hesitate for a moment, gathering your thoughts before answering. "I don't know, Mina," you reply quietly. "I'm still not sure. I think I'll probably make a decision after I talk to my parents. Every time I touch my stomach, it feels like it's getting bigger, and they keep asking if I'm okay... it's becoming harder to hide."

You pause, feeling a mix of emotions. "I just don't feel ready to make a choice yet, but I know I need to soon. I just need to understand everything before I do."

Mina nods, her expression serious but understanding. "Take your time," she says softly. "I know it's a lot to handle. You don't have to decide anything until you're ready. I'm here for you, okay?"

"Thanks, Mina," you reply, feeling a sense of relief in her support. "I just hope when I tell my parents, it'll make things clearer for me. I just... don't know what the right choice is yet."

"You'll figure it out," she reassures you. "And whatever you choose, you know I'm with you."

You nod saying your farewells and ending the call, feeling the weight of everything on your shoulders, but at least now, you don't feel so alone.

You quickly wipe away any lingering tears, putting on a smile as your mom's voice calls out from the doorway. You walk out to meet her, the familiar scent of the store's bags in the air.

"Yay, you got them!" you say, trying to sound cheerful, your voice a little lighter.

She walks in with a couple of bags, one of which is clearly filled with fresh strawberries. "Got your strawberries and a few extra treats," she says, smiling at you. "I couldn't resist getting a few more things, you've been eating these like crazy lately."

You laugh softly, taking the bag from her. "You know me too well," you say, peeking inside at the fresh fruit.

Your mom smiles at you, noticing the slight hesitation in your demeanor, but she doesn't say anything. "You want me to put them in the fridge, or are you going to eat them now?" she asks, trying to keep the conversation light.

You look at her, then at the strawberries, feeling the sudden urge to eat more. "I think I'll have a few now," you reply, feeling the familiar craving.

"Alright," she says with a knowing look. "I'll go start dinner. You can enjoy your strawberries."

As she walks off to the kitchen, you grab a few strawberries, trying to enjoy the moment of normalcy, even though your mind is still filled with thoughts of what's to come.

You pause for a moment, your thumb hovering over the screen as you decide to share a small piece of normalcy with your friends. After a few seconds, you post the picture from yesterday of you with your cousins, all of you smiling and enjoying the warm day. You add a simple caption: "Family," as the word feels comforting, even if it's only for the moment.

Once the post is up, you lean back on the couch, your mind wandering again as you wait for something—anything—to distract you. You glance at your phone again, checking if anyone's responded to your story or sent you messages. There's still that small part of you that's hoping someone, maybe even Jungkook, will reach out.But for now, it's just you, the strawberries, and the thoughts swirling in your head.

Jungkook's heart races as he quickly taps on your story. His eyes lock onto the picture of you smiling with your cousins, the sun in the background and everyone looking so happy. It's a stark contrast to how he's been feeling, the weight of guilt and frustration constantly weighing on his mind.

He stares at the photo for a moment longer than he probably should, his fingers hovering over his phone screen as he debates whether he should respond or not. His thumb hovers over the message icon but then he hesitates, thinking maybe he's pushed too hard already.

A part of him just wants to reach out, to say something, anything to bridge the gap between you two. But he knows he has to be patient—he doesn't want to make things worse. Still, that ache in his chest won't go away. He sighs, putting his phone down for a moment, his thoughts on you, on the baby, and on everything that still feels unresolved.

Jungkook can't stop thinking about you. The image of your smile, even if it's just in a picture, makes his heart tighten. Seeing you with your family, looking happy, gives him a strange sense of relief. But it also reminds him of how distant he feels from you right now. The void between you two is overwhelming, and the weight of the baby growing inside you only adds to the confusion he feels.

He stands up from the couch, pacing back and forth, trying to come up with a plan to see you. He wants to fix things, wants to apologize properly, wants to show you that he's changed. But everything feels so complicated now.

His mind races—should he come to your parents' house? Should he send a message asking if you want to meet? He just knows he needs to see you, to hold you, and to figure this out. He can't keep running from it. But at the same time, he doesn't want to push too hard. He knows he's made mistakes, and all he wants is for you to give him a chance to make things right.

He takes a deep breath, grabbing his phone again, ready to message you. But his thumb lingers, unsure if now is the right time.

Jungkook hesitates, his thumb still hovering over the screen, then the vibration of his phone pulls him out of his thoughts. He glances at the screen: Taehyung.

With a sigh, he answers the call, trying to push the thoughts of you to the back of his mind, just for a moment.

"Yo," Jungkook says, trying to keep his voice steady, but there's an edge of frustration in it.

"Finally! You ready?" Taehyung's voice is cheerful, as always, full of energy. "The club's waiting, man. You're coming, right? It might rain soon, so we should get there before it starts pouring."

Jungkook exhales loudly, leaning back against the wall. "Yeah, yeah... I'll be there in a bit."

Taehyung laughs on the other end. "Good, good. You need this night, trust me. Come on, we'll get you out of your head. Maybe you'll find a cute girl or something."

Jungkook's hand tightens on his phone as he thinks about you. His heart aches, but he forces a smile. "I'm not in the mood for that tonight, Tae."

Taehyung picks up on his tone immediately. "Dude, what's going on? You're acting weird. You've been on edge lately. You sure you're good? It's just a night out."

Jungkook runs a hand through his hair. He wants to tell Taehyung everything, but he knows the conversation will only get worse. "I'm fine, man. Just... tired. Let's go."

Taehyung doesn't buy it, but he lets it go. "Alright, but I'm still dragging you out. You owe me a drink, remember?"

Jungkook laughs half-heartedly. "Yeah, yeah... I'll see you soon."

The call ends, and Jungkook stares at his phone for a moment, frustration building in his chest. Why can't I stop thinking about her?

He grabs his keys and heads out the door, but his mind is far from the club. It's filled with thoughts of you, wondering what you're doing, if you're okay. He can't shake the feeling that things aren't finished between you two, no matter how much he tries to distract himself.

Jungkook glances up at the sky as dark clouds begin to gather, signaling the storm that's likely to hit soon. The cool air bites at his skin, and despite the rain threatening to come, he doesn't hesitate. He starts his car, slamming the door shut and pulling out of the parking lot, speeding toward the club. His thoughts are still consumed with you—how you'd been distant and how much he wanted to fix things. But, for now, he focuses on getting to the club as quickly as possible, as Taehyung's voice and the promise of a distraction beckon.

The rain starts pouring just as he arrives, the sound of heavy drops hitting his windshield filling the car. He quickly parks and runs inside, the heat and loud music of the club hitting him as soon as he steps through the door.

Taehyung is already there, talking to a group of people, and waves him over enthusiastically. Jungkook forces a smile as he approaches, but his mind is still a million miles away. The beat of the music drowns out his thoughts for a moment, and he allows himself to be swept into the club's energy, even if only for a brief moment.

But no matter how hard he tries to forget, your face lingers in his mind. I just want to make things right.

Taehyung, clearly tipsy, grins widely as he raises his drink in the air, spilling a little in his excitement. He has a girl by his side, her hand draped casually over his shoulder, and the two of them seem completely lost in their own world. Taehyung's voice rings out above the music, "Jungkook! You made it, bro!" He stumbles slightly before raising his drink higher, "Finally, we're gonna have some fun tonight!"

The girl laughs beside him, her hand brushing against Taehyung's as she takes another sip of her own drink. Jungkook, trying to match the energy of his friend, forces a smile, walking over to join them, but his mind is still occupied by you. The last thing he wants to do is get caught up in a party when there's so much he needs to fix.

"You good, man?" Taehyung asks, still slurring his words but looking at him with genuine curiosity. "You've been acting off lately. You here to have some fun or just looking to get away?"

Jungkook's eyes flicker to the girl, then back to Taehyung, the buzzing music mixing with his thoughts. "I'm here," he says quietly, the words almost hollow to his own ears. "But I need to talk to you later."

Jungkook sits at the bar, his elbow propped up on the counter as he watches the chaotic scene unfold around him. The lights flash and the music pulses, but he barely notices it. Every time a girl approaches him with a smile and an offer to chat, he gives a polite but firm response, rejecting them with a shake of his head.

"Not tonight," he mutters to himself under his breath, staring into his drink. His mind keeps drifting back to you—how he hasn't heard from you in days, how he doesn't even know where you are. Each rejection feels hollow, like a distraction that's doing nothing but pulling him further away from what he really wants: to fix things with you.

Taehyung, noticing Jungkook's quiet demeanor, stumbles over with a drink in hand, still grinning. "You good, bro? You've been pushing them away all night," he teases, nudging Jungkook with his elbow. "Come on, let loose. You need this."

Jungkook only gives him a small nod, not wanting to explain. "I'm not here for that," he says flatly, the frustration in his voice creeping through.

Taehyung raises an eyebrow but doesn't push any further, understanding that something deeper is going on. He takes another swig of his drink, eyeing the crowd. "Well, don't be a buzzkill," he says before walking off to find another distraction.

Jungkook is left staring into his glass, a gnawing feeling growing in his chest. He needs to figure out how to make things right with you, but every attempt to move forward tonight feels pointless.

Jungkook looks up, surprised, as Mina and Hobi stand in front of him, both smiling brightly. Mina waves at him, clearly in a good mood, while Hobi grins with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Jungkook!" Mina exclaims, giving him a playful nudge. "Didn't expect to see you here, of all places. We were just about to hit the dance floor, but we couldn't help but notice you sitting here all by yourself. What's going on?"

Jungkook blinks, his gaze flicking between the two of them. He leans back slightly, trying to mask his frustration. "Why are you two here?" he asks, the question more blunt than he intends.

Hobi chuckles, his hands in his pockets, clearly enjoying the situation. "You're not the only one who needs a break, you know. Sometimes we need to get away and just let loose too." He glances at Mina, who smiles at Jungkook, but there's something unreadable in her eyes.

Jungkook forces a small smile, but the unease in his chest grows. He's not in the mood for socializing, especially when his mind is consumed by thoughts of you. Still, he doesn't want to seem rude. "I wasn't expecting to see anyone I know here either," he mutters, looking away briefly.

Mina, sensing something's off, tilts her head, her playful expression fading. "Hey, are you okay? You've been a little... off. You've barely said anything since we got here."

Jungkook just nods, giving them both a quick look. "Yeah. Just tired, I guess," he replies, trying to brush it off. He's not ready to open up, especially not here.

Hobi eyes him for a moment, then smirks. "If you need to talk, you know where to find us. But if you're gonna sulk, at least come with us and have some fun."

Jungkook looks between the two of them, then back at his drink, feeling the weight of everything pressing down on him. He doesn't respond, just taking a long sip as he watches them walk away, a strange feeling of loneliness creeping in despite the people around him.

Mina suddenly dashes back towards Jungkook, her steps quick and purposeful. Her eyes are sharp, and there's an intensity in her voice as she stands in front of him, her hands on her hips. Without thinking twice, she blurts out, "I know you miss her, Jungkook!"

Jungkook freezes, his grip tightening around his drink. He looks up at her, confused, unsure where this sudden burst of emotion is coming from.

Mina doesn't give him time to respond. She points a finger at him, her voice rising. "Why won't you fight for her?!" she demands, her tone a mix of frustration and concern. "You've been sulking around here, acting like it's all out of your control. But it's not, Jungkook. You need to make it right. You can't just sit back and wait for her to come around!"

Jungkook feels a knot tighten in his stomach at her words. It's like she's calling him out for everything he's been too scared to face. He opens his mouth, but the words don't come out, his emotions too tangled up in the mess he's created.

Mina doesn't wait for him to speak. "She's carrying your child, for God's sake! Do you really think she's going to wait around forever for you to figure your crap out?!" Her eyes soften, but there's still a fire in her words. "You need to stop running from this, Jungkook. You need to be there for her."

Jungkook's heart races, and the weight of everything suddenly crashes down on him. She's right. He knows she's right. He's been letting fear, anger, and pride get in the way. And now, everything feels like it's slipping through his fingers.

He looks at Mina, guilt washing over him. "I... I don't know what to do," he admits, his voice quiet.

Mina crosses her arms, her expression softening a little, but still firm. "Well, you better figure it out. Because right now, you're losing her. And you're losing the chance to be part of your child's life."

The words hang in the air, and Jungkook feels like the world is spinning around him. He's not ready to face this, but he knows, deep down, that he has no choice. He needs to act. He needs to fix this.

Jungkook slumps in his seat, frustration clear on his face as he responds, "I've tried, Mina. I've sent her messages, but she won't even reply. What more can I do?"

Mina's expression hardens, and she shakes her head, her voice rising in irritation. "Texting isn't enough, Jungkook!" she yells, her words sharp. "You need to show her you're serious! You need to be a man and find her! Stop sitting here waiting for her to come to you!"

Her words cut through him like a dagger, and he winces, the truth of them sinking deep. "I can't just show up at her door," he mutters, more to himself than to Mina. "I don't even know where she is."

Mina's eyes flare with determination as she steps closer to him, not backing down for a second. "You think she's going to be waiting forever?!" she snaps. "You need to step up, Jungkook. Stop making excuses and go to her! If you love her, you'll fight for her. Don't let her think you're not worth it!"

Jungkook looks down, his heart racing, the weight of her words hitting him harder than he expected. He knows she's right. Every moment he's been sitting here, hiding from the reality of his situation, it's been slipping through his fingers.

"I don't want to lose her," Jungkook admits quietly, looking up at Mina, his voice full of raw emotion. "I just... I don't know how to fix it."

Mina softens, but the firmness remains in her voice. "You start by showing up, Jungkook. Don't wait for her to do all the work. Be a man. Do what's right."

Mina takes a deep breath, her expression softening for a moment before she speaks again. "I'm not going to let you screw this up," she says, her voice quieter but still firm. "I know where Y/n is."

Jungkook's eyes snap to hers, his heart beating faster. "What? Where?"

Mina glances around the club, making sure no one's listening before she lowers her voice. "She's at her family's house for now. In Gangneung, but... the next train to her town is in an hour. You have enough time to get there."

Jungkook's pulse spikes at the mention of the train. "You're sure she's there?" he asks urgently, gripping the edge of his seat.

Mina nods, her expression serious. "I'm sure. But if you really care, you need to move now. Don't waste any more time."

Without waiting for him to respond, she turns on her heel and starts to walk away, but not before adding, "Go, Jungkook. She needs you, but you need to show her you're not giving up."

Jungkook sits still for a moment, processing everything. The time is running out, but for the first time in days, he feels a spark of hope. Without another second to lose, he stands up quickly, grabs his jacket, and heads out of the club, determined to get to you no matter what.

The rain clashed down heavily against the windows as you sat on the couch, a wave of concern sweeping over you. You kept glancing at the door, wondering how your dad would manage to get home in this weather. You knew the roads could get slippery, and the thought of him driving in the downpour made you uneasy.

As you sat on the couch, a sense of determination began to rise within you. Today was the day you were finally going to tell your parents about the pregnancy. You had thought about it for so long, but now you felt ready. The only thing left was waiting for your dad to come home. The rain continued to fall heavily outside, but it didn't stop you from feeling a spark of courage deep inside. You just hoped everything would go smoothly once he walked through that door.

Your mom walks into the living room, sensing the tension in the air. She sits down beside you, her voice soft but comforting. "Don't stress about your father. His shift will end soon," she says, placing a reassuring hand on your shoulder. "He'll be home before you know it."

You nod, appreciating her attempt to calm you, but the nerves still linger in your stomach. You try to relax, focusing on the quiet rhythm of the rain outside. This was the right time, you just needed to wait for the right moment to speak your truth.

She smiles gently, trying to ease your nerves. "I put dinner in the oven, so we can relax for a bit. Let's watch a movie while we wait for your dad," she says, her voice filled with warmth.

You nod, feeling a bit better. The idea of just sitting with her, watching a movie, feels comforting. As she grabs the remote and flips through the options, you settle in beside her, trying to distract yourself from the heavy conversation that lies ahead. The movie begins, but your mind drifts back to what you need to say.

Your mom suddenly turns to you, her tone casual yet a little curious. "So, how's Jungkook? You two still in touch?" she asks, her eyes flicking to you as she waits for your response.

You freeze for a second, caught off guard by her question. You try to keep your face neutral, hoping she doesn't notice the sudden tension in your body. "Uh, yeah, he's fine," you say, forcing a smile. "Just been busy with work, I think."

She raises an eyebrow, sensing something is off. "Really? It seemed like you two were close. You sure everything's okay with him?"

You swallow hard, not sure how to respond. "I mean... things have been a little complicated lately," you admit softly, trying not to give too much away.

Your mom studies you for a moment, her gaze softening with concern. "Complicated?" she repeats, clearly wondering what you mean. "What happened? Is there something you want to talk about?"

You hesitate, the words getting caught in your throat. You don't want to dive into the whole situation with her just yet. "It's... not something I really want to talk about right now, Mom," you say, hoping she'll drop it.

She nods, though you can tell she's not entirely satisfied with the answer. "Okay, but remember, I'm here if you need to talk about anything, sweetheart."

You give her a small nod, relieved that she's not pressing further. The conversation shifts back to the movie, but the weight of her words lingers in the back of your mind as you try to keep your thoughts from wandering.

Jungkook barely made it onto the train, his breath heavy from the sprint. As the doors closed behind him, he leaned against the wall, gripping the railing tightly. His heart was pounding in his chest, thoughts racing. All he could think about was you—what you were doing, how you were feeling, and how much he needed to see you.

His hands were clenched into fists at his sides, a mix of nerves and frustration building up inside him. He couldn't stop wondering why you weren't answering him. Every text, every call... nothing. And it hurt more than he thought it would.

He exhaled, trying to calm himself. "I can't let this slip away," he muttered under his breath. He knew he had to get things right, to fix whatever had gone wrong between you two. He had to see you, to make sure you were okay.

The train began to move, the rhythmic sound of the tracks beneath him only adding to his anxiety. He pulled his phone out again, unlocking it to check for any messages, but of course, there was nothing. He swiped through your profile again, looking at the recent story you posted, the last glimpse of you that he had.

His hand tightened around his phone as he looked at the screen. "I won't screw this up again," he said, the determination settling in his chest. He had no idea how the night would unfold, but he knew one thing: he couldn't let you slip away.

Jungkook's heart skipped a beat as he saw Mina's message come through. His eyes quickly scanned the address she had sent, and a surge of excitement rushed through him. The nervousness, the anxiety—everything melted away for a moment. He finally had a lead, finally knew where you were.

Without wasting another second, he typed a quick reply, telling her thanks before quickly closing his phone and focusing on the train ride. He could feel the adrenaline building inside him, his mind already racing ahead. He was going to see you.

The last few days of silence, the uncertainty, the frustration—all of it was about to end. He was finally going to be able to explain himself, to see you face to face. And no matter how this turned out, he was determined to fix things between you two.

The train rumbled on, and Jungkook stood up, gripping the overhead bar as he checked his watch. He still had some time before he arrived, but it couldn't come soon enough.

As you sipped your tea, the warmth of the cup comforting you, you and your mom continued chatting about possible plans for the next few days. The conversation flowed easily, and for a moment, you felt a sense of calm. You spoke about what you could do around the house, maybe take a day trip to a nearby town, or even just enjoy a quiet day in the garden. You needed something simple, something familiar to ease the tension bubbling inside you about what you were about to tell them.

"Maybe we could visit the park like we used to," your mom suggested, her eyes softening with a nostalgic look. "Just like when you were younger."

You smiled faintly, nodding, trying to hide the nervousness creeping into your chest. "That sounds nice. I think I could use some time outside."

As you both continued talking, you caught yourself glancing at the clock every so often, wondering when your dad would be back. You knew that once he was home, it would be time to have the conversation you'd been avoiding.

You stood up from the couch and walked towards your room, the familiar sense of anticipation growing as you reached for something more comfortable to wear.

You slipped into a comfortable pair of white joggers and a matching lace-trimmed cami top. The soft fabric made you feel at ease, giving you a small sense of comfort amidst the nerves that had been building up all day. You adjusted the straps of the top and glanced at yourself in the mirror for a moment, taking a deep breath before walking back into the living room.

Your mom was busy setting the table, humming softly to herself. You felt the weight of the conversation you were about to have, but for now, all you could do was gather the courage to bring it up

You snap out of your thoughts as you hear the sound of the front door opening. Your heart skips a beat, and you glance towards the hallway, wondering if it's your dad coming home from work. The sound of his footsteps grows louder, and you can tell he's entering the house.

Your mom, hearing the door, calls out, "Your dad's home! Dinner's almost ready!"

You feel a small wave of nervousness wash over you, but you quickly try to calm yourself. This is it—the moment to tell them everything.

You wait patiently as your dad changes into something more comfortable, your heart racing a little. When he finally comes down, you rush to him, wrapping your arms tightly around him in a big hug. He chuckles softly, rubbing your back as he hugs you back, asking how your day went.

After a moment, you both pull away, and he smiles at you, clearly in a good mood after a long day. You sit down at the dinner table together, your mom bringing over the last of the dishes and setting them down in front of you.

You're about to say something, but your mom interrupts, her voice full of excitement as she says, "Well, let's eat first, and then we'll talk about everything."

The weight of the conversation you're about to have lingers in the back of your mind, but for now, you focus on the warmth of the moment, knowing what's coming next.

You hear a knock at the door, a soft yet sudden sound that catches your attention. Your heart skips a beat as you walk over to open it, unsure of who it could be.

When you pull the door open, you're met with the sight of Jungkook standing there, breathing heavily, his hair slightly disheveled as if he's been running. His eyes widen in surprise when he sees you, and for a moment, there's an awkward silence between you two.

"Y/n..." he breathes out, his voice soft but filled with urgency, "I... I need to talk to you."

Your heart races as you look at him, unsure of what to say or how to feel. Seeing him like this, standing in front of your door, makes everything feel more real. His presence stirs something deep inside you, making it hard to breathe for a moment.

You both stand there for a moment, eyes locked, the tension thick between you. His wet hair clings to his forehead, droplets of rain still falling from his jacket, and his breath is visible in the cold air. Your heart races as you take in the sight of him, the one person you've been avoiding for days.

Without thinking, your instinct takes over. You step aside, grabbing his arm gently, and pull him inside, not wanting him to stand out there any longer in the rain.

"You're soaked," you murmur, your voice a little shaky, unsure of what to do next.

Jungkook doesn't say anything at first, his gaze lingering on you as he steps into the warmth of your home, the tension between you still so strong. He closes the door behind him, his eyes never leaving you, and there's a long silence as you both stand there, feeling the weight of everything unsaid.

Finally, he clears his throat, the words he's been holding back trying to escape. "Y/n," he starts, his voice quiet but desperate. "I... I've been trying to reach you. I... I need to explain everything. Please."

You quickly glance over your shoulder, hearing your mom's voice from the other room. "Just a second!" you call out, trying to buy yourself a moment, before turning your attention back to Jungkook.

The words feel stuck in your throat as you look at him, his eyes filled with both determination and uncertainty. His hair is damp, his clothes still soaked from the rain, but it's his expression that catches you most. It's raw. Vulnerable.

"I didn't expect you to come here... not like this," you say softly, unable to keep the emotion from your voice. You take a hesitant step forward, unsure whether to offer him comfort or distance.

Jungkook's lips part, as if he wants to say something but can't find the words. His eyes flicker down briefly, then back up to meet yours. "I'm sorry. I should've done more... said more. I just—" He pauses, trying to steady himself. "I need you to know I care about you, y/n. I don't want to lose you."

The words hang in the air between you two, thick with unspoken feelings, and you wonder if he even knows the full weight of what he's asking.

Jungkook steps closer, his voice trembling with sincerity as he looks at you, his eyes searching for a sign, any sign that you'll understand. "I... I will do anything for you. I need you to keep the baby. I don't care about anything else. I'm so sorry for everything—how I acted, how I made you feel. I should've been there for you, I should've been better."

His words come out in a rush, almost desperate, as if saying them out loud makes them more real. "I'll give up my career if I have to. I don't care about boxing, about anything anymore. I just need you. Please... don't make this decision alone."

The rain outside beats harder, almost like an echo to the weight of his words. You feel your heart racing, torn between the overwhelming emotions of hearing him speak with such vulnerability and the reality of the situation.

He reaches for your hand gently, almost like he's afraid you might pull away, his thumb lightly brushing over your skin. "I just... need you to know I'm here. I want to be here for you—for both of you." His gaze never leaves yours, full of sincerity, yet there's an underlying fear—fear of losing you, fear of making the wrong move.

It's clear in his eyes now; Jungkook is no longer just the man who got caught up in everything else. He's the man standing before you, ready to fight for what truly matters.

Jungkook's breath catches as he looks at you, his heart pounding. His voice, though shaky, holds a quiet strength as he steps closer. "I love you. I... I never realized it fully until you told me about the baby, but now it's clear. I've always cared about you, but this—this makes me realize just how much I need you in my life. I love you, Y/n."

He pauses, searching your eyes, hoping to see some sign that you might feel the same, that he hasn't ruined everything already. "I want to stand by you. I want to be there for you, for the baby. Whatever you decide, I'll be here. But... I need you to know that I love you. And I'll do anything to show you that. I'll fight for you both, if you'll let me."

His words are raw and vulnerable, spilling out in a way he's never allowed before. The walls he had built around himself are down, and for once, he's not the confident fighter or the man who hides his emotions. He's just Jungkook—open, honest, and deeply in love.

You stand there, frozen, as Jungkook's words hang in the air. His confession, raw and vulnerable, hits you harder than you expected. You watch as tears start to form in his eyes, his voice trembling as he continues. It's a side of him you've never seen before—the strong, confident fighter, now standing in front of you, emotionally exposed and desperate for a chance to prove himself.

For a moment, everything is still. You can hear the pounding of the rain outside, the soft hum of the lights, but all you can focus on is Jungkook—his shaking hands, his heart laid bare before you. His eyes, full of emotion, search yours for some kind of response.

"I'm sorry, Y/n," he whispers, his voice breaking. "I know I've messed up. But I love you. I need you to know that."

You feel a lump in your throat, your heart beating fast as you struggle to find the right words, the right thing to say. Everything inside you is telling you to just hold him, to tell him that you're not sure yet, that you're scared, but that his love—his raw honesty—means everything to you.

But, for a moment, you stay silent, letting the weight of the moment sink in. Jungkook's voice trembles as he speaks again, his eyes now fixed on yours with an intensity that makes your chest tighten.

"I'm sorry for walking out on you,Y/n," he says, the words heavy with regret. "I was a complete dickhead, and I can't even begin to explain how much I regret it. I know I hurt you, and I don't deserve your forgiveness, but I can't live without you. I need you—more than anything."

His words hang in the air, each one like a plea, raw and unfiltered. He takes a shaky step closer, his eyes still searching yours, waiting for a sign—something to show that maybe, just maybe, you still care, that you still want him in your life.

The tension between you both is thick, a mix of hurt and hope, and for a brief moment, you feel everything he's saying. His vulnerability, his pain, the way he's opening up to you in a way you never thought possible.

You swallow hard, your heart torn between the fear of getting hurt again and the longing for him to be the man he's promising to be.

As the tears fall, you find yourself reaching for him instinctively, pulling him into a tight embrace despite the rain soaking through his clothes. Jungkook doesn't hesitate for a second, wrapping his arms around you just as fiercely, holding you like he's afraid to ever let go again.

"I'm sorry, Y/n," he whispers into your hair, his voice thick with emotion. "I swear, I'll make it right. I'll do everything I can to make up for it. I promise you, I won't let you go again."

The world around you seems to fade, the only thing that matters being the warmth of his arms and the sound of his words, sincere and full of regret. You hold him tighter, letting your tears flow freely as everything you've been holding in finally spills out.

In this moment, with his steady heartbeat against yours, you realize that maybe, just maybe, there's still a chance for both of you. The pain hasn't disappeared, but his presence feels like the first step toward healing.

Jungkook pulls back slightly, his hands gently cupping your face, his eyes searching yours with an intensity that takes your breath away. Without another word, he leans in, his lips pressing against yours in a deep, passionate kiss. It's filled with all the longing, all the regret, and all the love he's been holding back. His kiss is soft at first, as if he's afraid to push too far, but then it deepens, a silent promise that he'll never let you go again.

You melt into him, feeling the electricity between you, the overwhelming mix of emotions that surge within both of you. The kiss feels like everything you've been waiting for, everything you've needed to hear without words. It's not just about the baby, it's about both of you—about healing, about love, and about the future you might still have together.

When you finally pull away, both of you are breathless, your foreheads resting against each other. The air is thick with unspoken words, but in this moment, you both understand.

You take a deep breath, your heart racing as you look up at him. "I'm going to tell them today," you whisper, voice trembling slightly. "I don't know how they'll react, but I can't hide it anymore. I want to be honest with them... about everything."

You can feel the weight of the moment settling between the two of you, the uncertainty of what's to come hanging in the air.

Jungkook's expression softens, his hand gently resting on your arm. "You're strong," he says softly, his gaze unwavering. "I know you can do this. And I'll be right here, no matter how it goes." His words offer comfort, but you can also hear the anxiety in his voice. "We'll figure this out together."

His words give you a bit of the reassurance you needed, but you still feel the nervous energy building up inside. You're scared, but Jungkook's presence is grounding, and it gives you the courage to take the next step.

You rush upstairs, heart still pounding, but you can't help but notice how soaked Jungkook is. The rain has left him dripping wet, and you don't want him to catch a cold. You open your dresser and quickly grab a pair of joggers from your dad and his hoodie you bought.

Rushing back downstairs, you hand him the clothes, your hands shaking a little. "Here," you say softly, a small smile on your face. "You should change into these. I don't want you getting sick."

Jungkook takes the clothes from you, a grateful look crossing his face. "Thanks," he says, his voice still low, as if everything else is too heavy for him to say right now. He looks at you for a moment before adding, "I'll change quickly."

You nod, stepping back a little to give him space. You watch him head toward the bathroom, your heart still racing but feeling the warmth of his presence even in the midst of everything.

Once Jungkook finishes changing, he walks back into the room, now looking more comfortable in the clothes you gave him. He stands there for a moment, a serious look on his face as he meets your gaze.

"Y/n..." he starts, his voice soft but filled with uncertainty. "Do you... accept me? After everything?"

You can see the vulnerability in his eyes, the weight of everything he's said and done. Your heart swells, and without thinking, you take a step toward him.

"Yes," you whisper, the word escaping your lips with all the sincerity you feel in your heart. "I accept you, Jungkook."

Before he can respond, you close the distance between you, pulling him into a kiss. It's gentle at first, a kiss full of relief, longing, and love. The kiss deepens as you both give in to the emotions that have been building up, your connection feeling stronger than ever.

When you pull away, both of you are breathless, your foreheads resting against each other. "We're in this together," you say quietly, your voice full of certainty.

As you walk into the dining room with Jungkook, the room falls silent for a moment. Your parents are sitting at the table, and their eyes immediately widen in surprise.

Your dad, with a confused but friendly expression, speaks up first. "Jungkook? What are you doing here?"

Your mom looks between you and Jungkook, her eyebrows furrowed as she stands from the table. "Y/n, is everything okay? What's going on?"

Jungkook stands next to you, his presence solid and determined. He meets your parents' gaze, then looks at you for a moment before speaking. "I... I came here to talk to you both," he says, his voice steady but full of sincerity.

Your parents exchange a glance, clearly sensing that something important is about to unfold. Your mom steps forward slightly, a concerned look crossing her face. "What about, Jungkook?" she asks softly, her eyes shifting between you and him, trying to piece everything together.

Jungkook glances at you, and you can feel his hand slightly brushing against yours. His expression softens as he takes a deep breath. "I need to tell you something about your daughter, something important... and it's about the future."

Your mom's eyes widen even more. "Future?" she repeats, looking between you two. "What's going on, Y/n?"

You take a deep breath, feeling your heart race as you sit down with Jungkook beside you. His hand finds yours under the table, giving it a reassuring squeeze. The weight of what you're about to say feels heavy, but there's a part of you that knows it's time.

Your mom watches you intently, and you can tell she's waiting for something—anything—to explain why Jungkook is here. Your dad sits back in his chair, his expression unreadable.

With a shaky voice, you finally speak up, feeling the tension in the room. "Mom, Dad... I need to tell you something," you say, your voice quiet but firm.

You feel Jungkook's thumb gently rub against your hand as he watches you, offering silent support. You take another deep breath before continuing, "I'm pregnant. And Jungkook... he's the father."

The room falls completely silent for a few seconds, the words hanging in the air like a heavy fog. Your mom blinks, trying to process what you just said, while your dad's face freezes.

You feel your nerves grow as your mom stares at you, her eyes wide with shock. She opens her mouth, but no words come out at first.

Jungkook squeezes your hand tighter, his presence a comfort amidst the uncertainty.
