Chapter 14
19:31, 21 October 2017'You have so much of my heart. I wonder if i have even a piece of yours.'
---------------
With a lit cigarette between his fingers, he sat comfortably as he watched the Crazy Doctors immerge from the hall as they head towards the cafeteria for lunch.
He saw Beam look around as if his eyes were searching for someone through the crowd. He's been doing that everytime they are outside.
A little smile is formed in his lips knowing that this crazy doctor somehow observes the area for his presence.
He is sitting far away from the trio. Far enough for him to freely gaze at this person without him knowing.
It's his third day doing this pathetic mission of him — to watch over him even from a distance. He lost count of how many times he stopped himself from wanting to run towards him and kiss him.
No matter how much he wanted to talk to him, he knows the other guy needs time. Seeing him from afar is enough for now.
His phone went off and he doesn't have to look at the screen to know who it is.
"What." He said while still watching Beam.
"Hey asshole. Are you at the Medical faculty again?"
"What do you want Ai'Lam?"
"What, you want to be a doctor now? How long do you plan to stay there? Do you want me to bring you a tent? It's like you live there already." Lam was extra sarcastic today.
"Cut the crap. What do you need?"
"Look man, i know you're a genius but you still have to attend classes. You've been absent for three days already and I'm running out of excuses for every question the Prof shoots at me. And don't even get me started about the hazing leader asking —"
"Alright! Alright!" He cut off. "Geez Lam you nag every time you call you're starting to sound like my wife!"
"Tsk! Your wife doesn't even want to see you or let you call him for that matter! Keep dreaming buddy."
"Damnit Lam do you really have to rub it in?! Alright i'll be there in about ten minutes because i have to kick your ass."

'I miss you in ways i cannot describe. (But i know it's a lot.)
He keeps having that feeling that he is being watched — not in a creepy stalker way, but with that safe aura as if he knows he will be safe.
Everytime his eyes roams around the area, he half expects to meet this person's eyes.
He glances at his phone that lit up with a message notification saying that his car has been fixed and will be delivered to him at the Medical Faculty in the afternoon — with extra pay of course, and he sighs in annoyance knowing that that person won't call or even send messages — because asked him not to.
The funny thing is, sometimes you tell someone to never call you again and then your phone lights up and you still hope it's them, what a twisted logic.
"What's with your face Ai'Beam? Why aren't you eating?" Kit asked with knitted eyebrows.
"Not hungry."
"That's what you said at breakfast. Is everything okay?" This time, it was Pha who asked.
"Yeah."
Kit and Pha narrowed their eyes with scrutiny.
"What?" He really can't fool these retards.
Kit and Pha looked at each other.
"Where is Ai'Forth?" Kit asked suspiciously.
"I don't know! What am i? A GPS?! He might be in class or something!"
"Ha! I knew it! This morning you said he was heading home — on a school day? Really? You think i'm buying that? Yesterday you said he'd be away with the hazing team for a week! And now he's in class or something?! What the fuck Beam you gotta be consistent with your excuses. You still suck at lying." Kit rattled out as if he was a detective who was winning at interrogating Beam.
Phana, who was sitting beside Kit calmed him down by patting the shorter guy's head which he hates because it's like you're mocking his height. Kit swatted away his hands and glared at him.
"You a detective or something? Turn it down a notch, Kendaichi." Phana told Kit before he turned to Beam. "Ai'Beam, spill it! What's wrong?"
He sighed heavily. He have to tell them the truth or they won't stop pestering him.
"You did what?!" Kit scowled at him after he told them. Phana only raised his eyebrows.
"You are lying to him and to yourself. Why do you keep doing that?" Pha said flatly.
"I already told you i don't want to drag him to this. And see? It worked! He's not bothering me anymore."
"You're such a faker. I know you pretend not to look for him whenever we are at the benches outside the building but you're so damn obvious." When did this grumpy Kitty ever learned to be as observant as a detective?
"No i don't!" Kit and Pha rolled their eyes at him. He knows they don't believe him.
---------------
Perhaps his mind was full of the thoughts of Forth that he was surprised he found himself driving near the Engineering faculty. He shook his head as if his thoughts would scatter to different directions if he did that.
He roamed his eyes around trying to find that tanned person wearing a blue workshop shirt.
His eyes landed on a group of four guys wearing blue workshop shirts near the parking lot crowding on a bench, he knows they are Forth's friends since he remembers them from their previous drinking session. He saw Lam first but Forth is nowhere to be seen.
I better drive away before he appears out of nowhere and sees my car.
He heard that familiar sound of an engine and his heart skipped a beat. He knows who it belongs to.
His heart sank as he saw Forth driving towards his friends — with a girl behind him who had her hands wrapped around the driver's waist. It was Lin.
She got off the bike and handed Forth the helmet — which he bought especially for Beam, and wai-ed to Forth and his friends who was teasing them loudly, before running off inside the building.
His vision became blurry all of a sudden as he felt warm droplets streaming down his face. He quickly wiped his cheeks before starting the engine again. Before driving away, he looked at Forth, which made him pissed as hell as he saw him lighting a cigarette. He stepped on the gas and drove out of that faculty before he do something stupid like walk to him and shove all the cigarettes in his mouth and light everything at once.
You want to die early?! Fine!! Smoke all the fucking cigarettes you want!
Forth was sucking in smoke when his eyes caught an oddly familiar white CR-V driving away. He tried hard to remember where he saw it while blowing out the smoke.
His eyes widened as it came to him.
Beam's car!
Oh shit!
