Chapter 4

Forth. After he got out of Beam's room that day, the drunk guy who begged someone to save him never left his mind. He didn't see the cute boy from Med faculty for a week now. Not that he didn't want to. After that night, all he wanted was to see Beam. All he wanted was to know more of what's making him miserable like that. But what reason aside from that will he use to go see him? Nothing more.

What is this feeling exactly? Why do i need to know him more than before? Is this curiosity? Is it just curiosity? What about Pha and Kit? What do they know? And that kiss!! Ughh!!

Those are some of the things he thinks about every night. Before he close his eyes, all he see is Beam burrying his scarlet face to his chest and mumbling things like, hmm warm. I like it." And he remembers everything clearly like how Beam made him lean closer than he already was that night and demanded that he must kiss the drunk guy "kiss me. Stupid." And in the morning the guy who demanded to be kissed and snuggled to his chest don't remember a thing when he woke up. Good job Beam. Now I'm just the one missing that moment. Honestly, the wonders alcohol does is quite upsetting.

Beam. It's been a week since Kit gave him that lecture about him going out drinking and getting wasted and not telling him. Pha also got an earful from Kit the next day who nagged about how he didn't inform him of Beam's whereabouts.

The weird things he felt when he woke up that day was still in his mind. How he wasn't enraged when Forth slept beside him while he was wasted and he might have said things that would draw out curiosity from the other guy. But a week had passed and no questions from Forth had arised. "Maybe i didn't do anything stupid afterall."

That night with Forth, he don't remember a thing that happened after he got wasted. The meds he's taking prevents him from remembering things when he's not himself. Fucking side effects. But that sleep, it was the nicest and most peaceful sleep he had in a while now. He's grateful for Forth for staying with him although he won't admit it to his face or to himself.

Pha and Kit. Every Saturday, they made it a regular thing to be with Beam in his room doing whatever the hell it takes to kill boredom. Beam don't want go to out on Saturdays. He has his reasons. Apart from having nothing to do on Saturdays, especially when they don't have to study for exams, they don't let Beam be alone in his room. They also have their reasons. They don't want history repeating itself. Never again.

But on this coming Saturday, none of them can be with Beam. Pha has to come home for his father had needed him for something and he really can't refrain from coming because that's the only day his father's hectic schedule is free.

Kit on the other hand, had some urgent family issues he needs to attend to. He could take Beam with him but it's a Saturday and Beam wouldn't want to go with him all the more because it was family issues.

They both know Beam promised never to try to take his life again on a Saturday and they believe him but still it was imperative he has company on such day the worst part of his life took place.

"I'm worried Ai'Pha. I know he promised but still."

They were on a bench outside the building sitting side by side. Beam went to the men's washroom. They haven't told him yet about the plan this Saturday.

"I know. I'm worried too."

"What if i tell Ming to stay with him there?"

"Ming is nosy. He would shower you with questions before he agrees. And even if he agrees, Beam would just chase him out. You know how stubborn that moron is."

"Yea. Beam would beat the hell out him. Oi! Ming is not nosy! What about N'Yo?"

"Seriously? They're best friends. They're both nosy."

"It would be easier if they knew. There'd be four of us to look after Beam, there would be a lesser chance that he would want to -- "

"Why does Ai'Beam need to be looked after?"

Uh oh. Someone heard them.

"Ai'Forth?!"

Forth. After a sleepless night of thinking about Beam again. He decided to just follow what his insides tell him - Get close to Beam even if you have no other reason of seeing him. "I'll make him mine then. Besides, he wanted someone to save him didn't he? Why can't it be me? I volunteer."

But before he do that. He needs help. He's not the type to need someone's help to woo anyone but this one's tricky. This one is a member of the famous Crazy Doctors. You mess with one of them, you mess with all of them. Also, he don't know much about Beam except from what he blabbered that night which wasn't clear enough for him to know him better.

He needs to meet Beam's so called guardians for a proper introduction - well, they already knew him and they are friends but its for formality though. They need to know his sincerity towards Beam.

He went over to the Med faculty on a Friday hoping to talk to the Gang of Crazy Doctors. He would talk to Kit and Pha and at the same time confess to Beam about how he feels. Damn his heart is in a riot right now. But he only found Pha and Kit and they seem to be chatting about something serious.

"Seriously? They're best friends. They're both nosy."

They didn't seem to notice Forth who was already behind them listening.

"It would be easier if they knew. There'd be four of us to look after Beam, there would be a lesser chance that he would want to -- "

"Why does Ai'Beam need to be looked after?"

Perhaps he didn't realize he thought out loud. Oops. 😯

"Ai'Forth?!" They talked in unison. The look on their faces cannot hide how shocked they were upon hearing Forth's question.

"Is Ai'Beam sick or anything?"

"Huh .. W ..what ? No! He's just .. Just .. -- "

"He's just clingy and needy. You know. Always wants to be taken care of."

Pha didn't stutter. But clearly he wasn't telling the truth.

"Ai'Forth! What brings you here?" Beam was now walking towards them with a curious look on his face.

"Just .. Uh .. I need to .. Uh .. talk about something with these two .. And also you." He was stuttering now. He didn't anticipate this kind of feeling when your gonna confess and you have audience. It's like he's meeting the parents already.

"What about?" Beam tilted his head still clueless of the tension around him.

"That was close." Pha thought.

Forth let out a deep breath. "I just wanted to talk to your friends concerning you."

The three future doctors knitted their brows in unison.

"What's this about?" Pha thought."Fuck. Does he know?" Thought Kit.

"Be more specific Ai'Forth 😑" Beam was not a patient listener.

"Okay then. I just wanted to tell your friends that I  like you .. and I want to court you Ai'Beam."

I don't know if I'm delivering this story clear enough for you guys. But its clear in my head 😊. I'm sorry for some mistakes. I will try to put in the character's POV.
