The wedding

I moaned to myself before answering the phone as I walked into the building.

Ashley's POV

I pushed the large wooden doors open with my shoulder. I held the phone next to my ear keeping my head down as the room fell silent. I slightly lifted my head and noticed an empty seat and quickly sat down. I kept my head low embarrassed as the officiant began to speak again.

"What Jai" I whispered into the phone while looking to the women next to me. "Sorry" I said apologetically to the lady who was clearly annoyed.

"Ashley everything's sorted out. I'll be back tomorrow" he said into the phone.

"How?" I asked quietly while still looking at the floor.

"Adam didn't take Luna he just slept with her" Jai slightly laughed.

"Okay well I have to go," I said annoyed. "Wait dose Matteo know" I added curiously.

"No, I don't think so" Jai replied softly.

"Tell Adam he better not find. If he does then we all know what will happen" I said low with worry.

"Okay are you leaving for the wedding now?" Jai questioned.

"I'm here already" I replied rolling my eyes.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I love you, bye" he said quickly.

"Bye" I said softly before he hung up. I sighed low before flicking my hair behind my shoulder and letting my arm drop into my lap.

Tom's POV

I stood tall with my hands Infront of me, and my fingers intertwined. I gazed at the women in the crowd she looked so familiar. I watched as she dropped her arm from her ear and moved her hair behind her shoulder. My heart sank and I felt my knees go weak at the sight. Everything around me felt slow and a high-pitched whistle rang in my ears. Right under her collar bone was a dark and long scar. It couldn't be her, I thought to myself. I mean, it looked like her, but why would she be here?

I felt Gustav bump my shoulder and I snapped my head to him. He raised his eyebrows and slightly turned his head to the side. I only smiled low and turned to the officiant.

Ashley's POV

Breaking my gaze from my phone, I finally looked up at Bree. I smiled softly to myself before shifting my attention to the groom. My heart fell to the bottom of my stomach, and I felt the world spin around me. A wave of queasiness washed over me at the sight. I quickly grabbed my bag and stood up. I felt everyone's eyes on me, and heard the officiant stop talking as I quickly made my way to the door. I looked around an began to feel lightheaded.

"Ashley!" Bree screamed from the top of the stairs.

I slightly turned my head back as I pulled opened the wide doors. I spun my head back and walked hurried out. The doors slammed shut behind me as I quickened my pace behind the building. I slammed my back against the wall and slid down slowly. I sat and began to lose control of my breathing and felt my body heat rise, overcome with panic. This couldn't be true. This had to be some sick nightmare.

Aubrey's POV

I spun my head back to Bill. His head was faced at the door and his eyes were wide and his mouth was opened a tad. I squeezed his hands, and he turned back to me and tried to smile. I smiled widely and mouthed 'I'm sorry' before I turned back to the officiant.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife" he said with his arms raised out. "You may now kiss the bride" he continued.

I squealed before taking a step forward and falling into his soft lips. The people in the seats began to clap and cheer. We parted and he held his warm hands on my face.

"I love you" he smiled before kissing me again.

Gustav's POV

I smiled as they fell into each other's arms, I smiled, genuinely happy for them and they were clearly crazy about each other. I slightly turned to look at Tom who had a smug look plastered on his face. I lightly rolled my eyes and looked back to the newly married couple. Tom despised the fact Bill had gone soft but continued to play the role of the happy brother.

I looked at Lauren who was on the other side of the room I could tell by her face she was in complete shock. I gave her a comforting smile and raised my shoulders before dropping them. I knew exactly what she was thinking. I just hoped that Ashley was now far from this building, far enough where Tom couldn't find her.

Tom hadn't been exactly okay since she had left. The first few months he was consumed by heartbreak, but upon hearing that she was now with Jai and had her own empire, he wanted nothing more than to ruin her life. Over the last couple of months, he had become completely uncontrollable, and his power had grown.

Ashley's POV

I sat on the cold ground slowly breathing in and out. 'Inhale Exhale' I repeated low to myself. I needed to calm down before trying to find a way back to the hotel. I finally built up the courage to stand and I began to walk closer to the road to find a taxi before I turned around and watched the doors swing open. The sun light blinded my eyes and I soon felt two hands grab my wrist.

"Ashley what happened" Bree spoke softly. I snapped out of my trance and felt my eyes water. I fell into the arms and began to cry.

"Ash?" she said confused.

"I'm sorry" I sniffled wiping my tears away and standing up straight.

"What wrong?" she asked in confusion.

"Uh uhm something with Jai" I spat out lying.

"Oh no what's happened?" she asked.

"Oh, we just had a fight" I laughed before quickly grabbing her hand. "So beautiful" I added smiling up at her.

"Thank you now let's get you some water you've gone pale" she giggled as she latched onto my arm.

"No, I think I'll go back to the hotel" I said giving her a reassuring smile.

"Let's get you some water first" she said pulling me.

"Okay" I said uneasy.

We walked inside and everyone was scattered around the room and the boys weren't in sight. I followed Bree to a table, and she poured me glass of water and handed it to me with a smile.

"Thank you" I said low as I looked behind me.

"No worries. I'll be back in just a second" she smiled before turning away.

"No Bree" I started before I lost sight of her in the crowd. I sat in a chair and began to sip on the water before someone came up behind me.

"Ash" a familiar voice spoke low. I turned around and stood up from my chair and smiled. I wrapped my arms around Bill and smiled.

"Hi" I said low.

"What are you doing here?" he said confused.

"I wonder" I said laughing lightly.

"Your Bree's sister aren't you?" he asked curiously.

"Yes" I plastered a smiled on before looking over my shoulder in worry.

"You never told me you had a sister" he grinned.

"Thought it would be safer not to mention family back then" I smiled softly.

"Yeah. Well I've missed you so much Ash" he spoke giving me a comforting smile.

"I've missed you too Bill" I replied.

"Are you okay?" he asked low.

"Yeah" I lied.

"Are you sure?" he raised an eyebrow.

"Mhm hmm" I said as my heart raced.

"If you need anything come find me okay" he said as he held my arm.

"Of course, thank you" I smiled.

"Bye Ash" he smiled before turning away.

I sat back down and watched as he walked away. I didn't know what to think or do. I felt bad for giving him small talk, but I needed to comprehend everything going on right now. I couldn't process any of it. It didn't feel real. I was caught my in my thoughts when I heard my name being called.

"Ashley I want you to meet someone" Aubrey smiled. I looked to her left an there stood Lauren. "This is my best friend Lauren" she continued.

"Hi" I smiled acting dumb.

"Hey" Lauren replied back. I watched as she raised a bottle of vodka and sat next to with a smile.

"Okay Lauren you look after her okay I'll be back" Bree giggle before I lost sight of her once again.

I turned to Lauren egar. "Please tell me Bree's okay" I said worried.

"Bill is crazy about her" she smiled grabbing two cups from the table.

"But nothing has happened to her like has-" I started.

"Ash she's fine. She's almost oblivious to what they do" she smiled handing me a cup.

"How?" I said confused.

"I don't know I guess she knows a bit, but Bill keeps most of it from her" she said raising her cup.

"Oh" I said a bit shocked. Lauren looked like she was lying.

"Bill keeps her out of it all. All he does is tell her some things" she said looking around. "Anyways how've you an Jai been?" she added.

"Huh" I said raising the drink to my lips.

"Don't act silly" she laughed. "We all know".

"Oh, fine I guess" I laughed worriedly. "I missed you" I smiled as I took another gulp of my drink.

"We've all missed you Ash" she smiled before reaching over an hugging me.

Me and Lauren continued talking before we realised we had finished the bottle. I knew I shouldn't be drinking but I needed it. It made me forget about the situation I was in and being with her made me feel safe. I had missed her so much. Soon Lauren came back with two bottles and sat down, and we began to chat once again. Again, we had finished both the bottles. Feeling queasy, I stood up and shut my eyes, trying to steady myself.

"I'm going to the bathroom" I smiled before taking a step forward.

"Okay" she laughed.

I started to wobble forward and pushed my way through the crowd, but I had no idea where the bathroom was. My head spun as I got shoved around in the crowd. I had way too much to drink. I pushed around some more before making it out the hot and sweaty crowd and stumbled, falling into someone's chest. Looking up at the man, I couldn't make out who it was. I smiled drunkenly at the figure, the lights from above and the mix of alcohol making it impossible to see straight.

"Could help me to the bathroom" I laughed as I felt myself loose balance. The man caught me and helped me stand my straight.

"This way" he groaned.

"Thank you lovely man" I giggled as I rested my head in his shoulder as we walked.

"In there" the man spoke.

"Thank you" I smiled before he let go and I began walk forward.

I squinted my eyes trying to see but everything was bright and blurry. I gave up an walked through the first door. I heard female voices and smiled. I walked into a stall and rested my head on my hands and slowly raised my head adjusting the to the light. My vision wasn't so blurry anymore. I finished my business and began to walk back out of the bathroom. It was dark and the colourful lights made my head spin I began to walk back towards the dancefloor. I bumped into a table, and I heard footsteps come closer.

"I'll help you back to your friend" the same man's voice said.

"Thank you" I said looking Infront of me trying to focus on one thing at a time.

"You are a really kind man" I slurred.

"No problem" the man replied.

"You know you sound really familiar" I spoke softly letting the man direct me. "Bill?" I questioned as the room blurred around me.

"No, it's-" he started.

"Tom! Get away from her" I heard Bill say.

"I'm helping her" he groaned.

"Tom?" I said uneasy as goosebumps ran up my spine.

"Ash?" Tom said softly with a smile in his voice.

"Bill where are you?" I said feeling worried as I tried to stand up straight with loosing my balance.

"Ashley" he smiled as he grabbed my arm. I felt Tom lose grip of my waist his touch leaving warmth. "What were you doing?" he said as he helped me walk back to Lauren.

"I needed help, and he helped me. I didn't know it was him" I said anxious.

"You had too much to drink" he laughed.

"I guess" I giggled anxiously.

He sat me down and I let my head rest on the back of the seat. I heard him speaking but I couldn't make out what he was saying because of the loud music. The loud base of the music thumped in my ears and throughout my body. I didn't know what was happening. I smiled low to myself before letting myself slip away out of conisouness.
