Murdoc x reader - it makes my heart beat no sound
00:54, 7 April 2018(This stands during phase 2)
Your POV
You were hanging on your own late at night (you always do that/you wanted to do so for once/you just left a pub and you were heading home/other), feeling the cold breath of the nocturne city against your skin. Thanks to the floor lamps, you weren't blind either and the streets weren't completely empty. After a while of walking, you ended up in front of a weird looking bar... well, the bar itself wasn't odd but the loud sounds coming out of it were indeed kinda weird. Curious, you decided to come in. Not even a second after you entered, a beer bottle flew through the air and smashed on the wall next to you, a few inches only from your head. You froze, chocked by the aggressive welcome. You soon figured out who was the mysterious "bottle thrower": a strange green skinned man, standing in the middle of the pub, cursing and smashing random stuff everywhere. He was obviously drunk. All of the workers were hiding behind some chairs or tables and the clients were gone already. You wanted to do the same but the odd guy noticed you and stopped moving immediately. He then pointed you with his long green finger, trying to focus
"You..." he succeeded to spot out
He walked toward you, half falling on the ground. He finally made his way to you, stuttering some words
"You lil' laaaaady...!" He stammered, his hot alcoholic breath hitting your nose
"Tell me...tell me why NOTHING is working the way I want to?! Wha...what the bloody hell am I doing wrong...?!" He practically yelled at you...but somehow, you taught he was more yelling at himself than anything else.
You stayed quiet, not wanting to fire up the situation. This action only turned him angrier
"ANSWER ME!! NOOOOW!"
His violent reaction added to his order made you jump in fear and respond the first thing that came in your mind
"M-maybe you're trying to hard ...?" You returned, unsure...
It turned out to be the good answer. He cool down immediately, looking confuse. You took advantage of it, questioning him
"What's making you so upset anyway?"
"My band..."
"Did they do something to make you mad...?" You asked softly
"NoOoOOOoo... they're hella good! Even face ache can worth it now and then! But they don't seem to...to...To understand the hell I've been through to get them!! These ungrateful B*TCHES!!"
"And what did you do to form this band?" You asked
"I sold my soul to the fucking devil! And it literally makes my heart beat no sound!! Look!"
He suddenly seized your wrist and put you palm on his chest. It made you confused at first but then you realized he was right...as hard as you could try, it was impossible to hear his heartbeat. You then looked back at him, catching him staring at you. But none of you broke the eye contact. Instead, you smiled at him, surprising him
"Well, I can assume your a pretty great friend to do such a sacrifice for your bandmates..." you pointed out
He didn't move. You were about to add something when he squeezed you in his arms
"Thanks love..." he whispered
He then let you go and smiled, his confused face now far away.
"I, The great Murdoc Niccals, apologize for my behavior! A lad like you should be treated in a much better way~" he said seductively, making you shiver
Seeing you reaction, he couldn't help but laugh. You soon joined him, understanding the joke. You looked back at him, still a little worried about his state. After all, he was fully drunk not even ten minutes before.
"Do you want me to conduct you home, mister Murdoc?" You asked carefully to not vexe him
"What? No! I can do it my self!" He scoffed playfully, trying to get out. Trying is the key word because instead of opening the door, he bumped in it. You tried not to but ended up bursting out in laugh, earning a cold glare from him but he looked slightly amused by his own confusion. He stood up, trying to appear prideful
"Well I guess a ride could be nice finally" he said like nothing
You chuckled and open the door for him
"Yeah sure" you giggled, him following you
Maybe you were right to enter in this hell of a bar after all
Yeah I hope you liked this one, I ain't a real murdoc fan but hey, I tried! Coming next, noodle x reader!
