PART 70

08:57, 14 October 2024

"You’re lying! My husband and I are married,” Liying said, pulling Yibo’s hand, but Yibo quickly let go. “We’re expecting another child. Why do you still want to destroy us? Xiao Zhan is dead,” Liying added with anger, and she was about to slap Ebisu, but Eros grabbed her hand just as Ebisu slapped him, nearly deafening him.

Ebisu laughed and grabbed Liying’s hair, while Eros held her hands so she couldn’t fight back. “Too bad for you, no matter how many times you’ve tried to ki/ll me, you still haven’t succeeded. And you're having a child? Why don’t you talk to the real father of the child, not my husband” Ebisu said, letting go of Liying, causing her to collapse into a sitting position.

Ebisu then took the papers of his and Yibo’s marriage certificate and scattered them among the people below. Curious to know the truth, they grabbed the papers and were shocked by what they saw. Before they could even recover, a video played on the screen showing Liying kissing a man while sitting on his lap.

Crying, Liying stood up. “Don’t believe any of this! He’s making it all up because he wants to take my husband away from me. Yibo, listen to me. You love me, don’t you? We have a child,” she said, kneeling and clinging to Yibo’s legs.

Eros took the microphone from Ebisu and looked directly into the camera. “She drugged me and blackmailed me, threatening to tell my husband that I had done something to her. But I never loved her. There’s only one person I will ever love, and that’s my husband,” Yibo said, taking Zhan’s hand. “She also insisted that I got her pregnant, but at that time, she had already kidnapped my husband and made it seem like he ran off with another man, leaving me and our child. My biggest mistake was believing her, thinking my husband could abandon me. That was the greatest mistake of my life. When my husband disappeared, I was furious with him, but as time went on, I realized how hard life was without him by my side. A few months after he was gone, Liying told me he was dead. Around the same time, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and because I couldn’t forgive myself, I married Liying, thinking it was a punishment for what I did to my husband. I had no idea how much longer I would live. After the wedding, I didn’t care about the papers. I married her to punish myself, not to love someone like her.”

“I went abroad for surgery and ended up with permanent amnesia and face blindness. Yes, that’s right. I don’t recognize any of you, not even my parents, or my child . I can’t see any of your faces except his…”Eros revealed everything Liying had done, despite her continued denials. Two men entered the venue, flanked by large bodyguards. Upon seeing them, Liying’s eyes widened, and she clutched Yibo’s legs tighter, but Eros kicked her causing her to fall off the stage. “You’re disgusting,” Eros said.

Feeling Ebisu tremble, he immediately embraced him, letting Zhan catch the scent of his perfume, drawing the attention of the guests. “Can you still handle this?” Eros whispered. Ebisu nodded. “We’re here now. We have to finish this, so we can get to the exciting part—where I make them suffer,” Ebisu whispered back. Eros kissed Ebisu, then they both turned to the man below.

“Darren and Troy are twins. Darren is the father of Liying’s child, Andro, and the one she’s carrying now,” Eros said. Liying, now crying, stood up and ran toward Yibo, but before she could reach the stage, the bodyguards blocked her. “Yibo, this isn’t true! You know how much I love you. I’ll go crazy if I lose you!” Liying screamed, crying, but Eros ignored her and continued speaking. “And Troy is the one Liying hired to kid/nap Ebisu and imprison him for 11 years,” he said angrily.

Elsewhere, since the event was live-streamed, A-Yuan saw everything happening. Overwhelmed with emotions, he ran out of Yibo’s parents’ mansion, surprising everyone inside. Jingyi and Jinling immediately followed A-Yuan, calling out his name, but A-Yuan couldn’t hear them as he kept running, tears streaming down his face. He flagged down a taxi, and before it could leave, the twins Jingyi and Jinling also got in. As they rode in the taxi, they asked where A-Yuan was going, but were shocked when the taxi headed toward Andro’s house.

A-Yuan sat in the car, fists clenched, burning with rage.

When they arrived at Andro’s house, A-Yuan immediately jumped out of the car without paying the fare, but fortunately, the twins had brought money with them. “Open this door!” A-Yuan shouted, pounding on the door, but no one answered or opened it. In frustration, he grabbed a flower vase and hurled it at the door with all his strength.

“What the hell are you doing, you bastard—” Andro started to say, but A-Yuan cut him off with a punch to the face. “BECAUSE OF YOUR MOTHER, I NEVER GOT TO BE WITH MY PARENTS! BECAUSE OF YOUR MOTHER, I WAS FORCED TO STAY AWAY FROM MY FATHER! AND BECAUSE OF YOUR MOTHER, I LOST MY MOTHER FOR SO LONG!” A-Yuan screamed, landing punch after punch on Andro’s face. Andro managed to push him off, but before he could escape, the twins grabbed him.

“And where do you think you’re going?” they said in unison. As soon as A-Yuan got back on his feet, he punched Andro again. “I ENDURED ALL THE PAIN YOU PUT ME THROUGH BECAUSE I THOUGHT YOU WERE MY BROTHER! BUT IT TURNS OUT YOU’RE NOT EVEN MY FATHER’S SON! ALL THOSE THINGS YOU MADE ME SUFFER FOR, EVEN WHEN THEY WEREN’T MY FAULT, YOU MADE SURE I TOOK THE BLAME SO YOUR MOTHER COULD HURT ME INSTEAD!” A-Yuan shouted, delivering a blow so hard that Andro coughed up blood.

“If you ever hurt our cousin again, we’ll bury you alive and dump you in the river,” Jingyi threatened, slapping Andro across the face. But before they could continue, their grandparents from both sides arrived. Lara began to cry upon seeing Andro’s bruised face, while Katrina rushed over to A-Yuan and the twins.

“You don’t need to get involved in the adults’ fights,” Lara said softly as she helped Andro up.

“But they destroyed my parents and my life, Grandma! Do you know how hard it is to live in a family where you do everything to earn their love, only for them to treat you like you’re nothing? Andro and his mother always hurt me, but I endured it all because I loved them. But now, I’m disgusted by them,” A-Yuan said, tears streaming down his face.

Meanwhile, Liying was begging Yibo to listen to her, but he no longer cared about her. They also played a video showing clear footage of Liying in a mental hospital. “From now on, I am the owner of Liying’s company, and I was also the investor when they needed money because the company was losing money because of his stupidity" Ebisu announced.

“And I’m giving my 15% share to him,” Eros added, shocking Liying.

“How did you get shares in my company?” Liying demanded angrily.

“It’s simple. I had someone on the inside, and those you trusted—Jiyang and Haoxuan—are my friends,” Zhan said with finality.

“No! I won’t allow it. That company is mine. I worked hard for it, and I don’t even know these two!” Liying insisted, point to Darren and Troy at the same time

Darren laughed. “You really don’t know us? Who was the one begging me to stay with her at night because her husband wouldn’t?” Darren said sarcastically. Realizing their fate was sealed, neither Darren nor Troy had any reason to side with Liying anymore. Darren wasn’t fully aware of what his twin brother, Troy, had done, but he was still deeply involved in the mess, especially in hiding the truth that he was the father of Liying’s children.

At this moment, Ebisu took a deep breath and stood tall, ready to confront the trauma caused by troy. Slowly, he approached Liying, Darren, and Troy. As he got closer, his legs felt heavier with each step, making it difficult for him to walk. All the pain and memories flooded back like a montage in his mind, and tears began to fall uncontrollably. His breathing became shallow, and just before he reached them, his vision blurred, and he collapsed. Before he could hit the ground, Eros caught him, and at that same moment, the venue lights dimmed. The guests were instructed to leave.

Meanwhile, just as Liying, Darren, and Troy were about to exit, someone covered their faces with handkerchiefs, causing them to lose consciousness. Once the venue was cleared of people, bodyguards carried the unconscious trio and loaded them into a van. Eros, on the other hand, gently lifted Ebisu and carried him to the room where they were checked in. Once inside, Eros carefully laid Ebisu on the bed and took out his phone.

“Take the three of them to the basement of my rest house. I’ll wait here until Zhan wakes up,” Yibo ordered his bodyguards.

After finishing his call, Eros moved to lie beside Ebisu. He was a little surprised when Ebisu embraced him tightly. “I don’t want us to be apart again,” Ebisu whispered, his eyes still closed. Eros silently thanked the heavens that Ebisu didn’t have a panic attack.

A few minutes later, Zhan slowly opened his eyes, and he couldn’t help but smile. The first thing he saw was the man he loved deeply.

“I want to face what I’ve been afraid of,” Ebisu whispered. Eros didn’t immediately understand, so he asked what Ebisu meant. But instead of replying, Ebisu gazed at him silently for a minute. Then, Ebisu slowly leaned in, closing the distance between them. Eros stayed still, eyes locked on Zhan’s, waiting for what Zhan wanted to do.

“I’m ready,” Ebisu said before finally kissing Yibo.

...

With Ebisu’s shirt off, Eros gently traced the scars on his back, as if trying to erase the pain they represented. After running his fingers over each scar, Eros kissed them softly, as if his kisses could chase away the darkness that haunted Ebisu. Tears continued to stream down Zhan’s face, but with every touch and kiss from Eros, he didn’t feel disgusted. Instead, he felt lighter, as though a burden was slowly being lifted, especially knowing that Eros didn’t look at him with disgust—it's not like Liying imprinted in his brain that Yibo will not accept him and will even hate him. He could feel the love in every kiss Eros placed on his scars, just like before they confessed their love for each other. He cherished everything Yibo was doing.

“I love you, Yibo,” Eros whispered.

“I love you more, Baobao,” Yibo whispered back.

(🔞🥵🥵😏🤯No details, I might get banned)

That night, they both let go of the pain from their past, and Ebisu opened himself up fully to his husband once again. They spent the night wrapped in each other’s love, feeling a deep sense of contentment and peace.
