Chapter 14

01:24, 24 July 2015

My eyes fluttered open only to close again because of the bright light shining through the window. I don't remember having a window in my bedroom. I rubbed the sleep away from my eyes tiredly before looked around. This isn't my room. This room was much larger than the one I shared with Belle. The walls were painted a calming, light brown color with white baseboards and doors. A window was to the left of me and a door in front of me.

I found myself tucked in a large, king sized bed with navy blue sheets and four wooden posts at each corner. This definitely was a guys room. I saw another door to my left that was open to reveal a large walk in closet and another door beside it that appeared to be a huge bathroom.

I took a deep breath to try and collect my thoughts so that I could possibly remember what happened last night that would put me in such a situation. The space beside me on the large bed was empty but obviously slept in which further concerned me.

All the memories came rushing back like a train running full force. I gasped and threw the bed sheets off looking down at my leg to reveal no wound. My eyes widened and I curled my right leg up to inspect it better. No mark, no blood, no cut. Nothing. I remember very well that I had cut it when Louis dropped me onto the floor. Louis! I'm in Louis' room. I have got to get out of here.

I threw my legs off the side and was very thankful that it had mysteriously healed. I looked down at my clothes realizing that I wasn't in a hoodie and jeans any more. An oversized T-shirt and grey sweatpants rolled up adorned me now. I saw my converse tossed in front of the closet door.

Please tell me nothing happened last night.

I shook my head and sprinted to the door in front of me after slipping on my shoes and cracked it open to see no one. I slowly opened it all the way making sure it wouldn't creak before taking a step out and looking down the hallway. I was at the very end of a long hallway that I had never seen before. Great, I thought to myself sarcastically.

I left the door open as I began my journey down the hall. I passed four doors, two on both sides, before I made it to an intersection that split off into two different directions. I took a deep breath and decided to go down the one to my right. Large, old chandeliers hung from elevated ceilings and hardwood lined the floors. The walls were painted a plain white color with white wooden baseboards. I looked back up only to find a dead end and about six doorways lining down the walls behind me. I sighed and turned around ready to head back to the intersection when a door began to creak open.

My eyes widened and I desperately looked around for something to hide behind but failed. I saw an antique painting hanging on the wall and decided to admire it as casually as possible while I kept glancing out of the corner of my eye.

"What are you doing up here?" I heard a deep growl come from beside me and footsteps made there way over to me. I swallowed nervously but kept on a strong facade. "Exploring." "You're not aloud up here."

I finally decided to turn to face this mystery man only to gasp as I came in contact with dark blue eyes.
