chapter nineteen—✧♡︎✧—

Felix flopped dramatically onto the couch, crossing his arms over his chest and pouting. He stared at his phone, tapping through random photos, but his thoughts kept drifting back to Hyunjin. It wasn't like he was mad or anything—just... slightly jealous.

"Ugh," he groaned, catching Seungmin's eye from the other side of the room. "I swear, Hyunjin and his stupid Sephora trip with Haeri are ruining my vibe today."

Seungmin raised an eyebrow, sitting back with his legs crossed and a smirk plastered across his face. "Oh, are you jealous now?"

Felix shot him a glare, but it was weak. "I'm not jealous," he grumbled, clearly not convincing anyone. "I just miss him, okay? Like, I saw him only at school so we didn't get to talk as much.Stupid Haeri." Felix rolled his eyes at the thought of the girl which is stealing his dear Hyunjin.

Jisung, who was sitting next to Seungmin, snorted loudly at that, leaning back on the couch. "You're definitely jealous, Lix.If you weren't, you wouldn't be so upset and pouty only because he couldn't hang out."

Felix turned even more pouty, glaring at Jisung now. "Shut your filthy ass squirrel mouth." He mumbled through his gritted teeth.

Seungmin rolled his eyes and leaned over to grab a bag of chips. "You all are so dramatic, like damn, just drink some coffee, maybe add some sugar and boom, life is much brighter."

"Oh my god, Seungmo, you're always the one who complains about being single," Felix shot back. "Don't act like you're not dying for some attention."

"Hey," Seungmin shot him a look, "we all know I'm the only one who has standards."

Jisung raised his hand, not even looking up from his phone. "Same."

Felix groaned again, flopping back onto the couch. "I just want a cute Valentine's Day, you know? It's literally in like a month ! Like everyone else gets their little cutesy dates, and I'm over here stuck... with you two dumbasses."

Seungmin smirked. "You're welcome. You get to hang out with us, the most mature of people. You should be honored."

Felix deadpanned, "No one wants to be stuck at home on Valentine's Day with their two best friends who still cry over Disney movies and eat chips for dinner."

Jisung suddenly perked up from where he was scrolling through Instagram, making a dramatic "Aha!" noise as he swiped through someone's story. "Guys, I found it."

Seungmin and Felix both looked at him with raised eyebrows. "Found what?"

Jisung grinned like a mischievous child. "A club. Valentine's Day party."

Felix blinked. "Wait... are you serious?"

"Oh yeah," Jisung said with a smirk. "It's perfect. We're going. We're gonna find our soulmates there, okay? No more sitting around crying about our nonexistent love lives."

Seungmin snorted. "I don't cry."

Felix's eyes sparkled, suddenly looking a little more interested. "Is this... like, a real thing? Like, are we going to meet people who will actually like us?"

Jisung glanced over, clearly reading Felix's expression. "You better believe it, Feli. We're gonna meet some cuties and have a lot of...uhm... fun." Jisung sent a wink.

Felix chuckled, feeling a little lighter. "I mean, okay. But like... what if no one talks to me? What if I'm too awkward? I can't do this."

Seungmin raised his hand dramatically. "We've all had our awkward moments. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll find someone... or at least someone will find you."

Felix stuck his tongue out at Seungmin. "Thanks, Seungmo, That's really reassuring."

Jisung gave Felix a friendly shove. "Trust me, you'll be fine. Everyone loves a good 'awkward-but-still-charming' vibe. We've got this. It'll be like one big matchmaking event."

Felix was silent for a second, still thinking about it. "Okay, but— do you think anyone will actually go for a guy like me? I mean, come on. I'm shorter than everyone else, skinny, and I barely know what to do with my hair most of the time."

"Please," Jisung said with an exaggerated eye roll. "You're cute. Don't even start, plus i'm shorter than you, unfortunately , so do not complain or i'll cry. Besides, we'll be there for moral support. And if anything, we'll find you a nice person who loves Oreos or something."

Seungmin grinned, tossing a chip in the air and catching it in his mouth. "Yeah, and I'll find a soulmate who appreciates my sophisticated taste in music."

Felix laughed. "So you guys are down?"

Jisung's grin grew wider. "Of course. We're gonna find us some Valentine's Day magic. It's destiny."

Felix leaned back, feeling a little more excited about the idea now. "Alright, alright... let's do it. Valentine's Day better be ready for us."

Seungmin gave Felix a pointed look. "And you better not cry this time, alright? No tears allowed. We're going to have fun, no matter what."

Felix threw his hands up in mock surrender. "I can't promise anything. You two know how I get around cute couples."

Jisung and Seungmin both laughed.

As minutes passed, they all needed their tiktok time, so now, a very rare silence took over the room.

Felix was scrolling through his for you page, a video of birds singing was playing, until instagram notification grabbed his attention.

He felt butterflies flying in his stomach the second he saw the name.
