Chapter 2 - Caffeinate

16:23, 23 October 2022

The two men sat on the bed, Buzz sat in the middle while Woody sat on the edge. Both avoided the other's glances as they sipped the coffee that filled them with the much needed energy. Buzz watched as Woody almost glared at his cup as no words filled the empty space between them. 'Now what? I can't even remembered what happened.' Woody mumbled, Buzz barely heard Woody as he sighed. 'I dont know. And no, nothing happened.'

Buzz remembers this clearly, It was just that Woody got heavily drunk and had called Buzz over. Buzz being the terrified anxious yet cocky man he was had arrived at Woody's and was confronted with a crying Woody who cried about how his cow had gone missing. Right after, Woody had fallen unconsciously and Buzz took him into his bed before accidentally falling asleep on his bed.

Woody looked at Buzz unsure, as he carefully pieced his words together. 'Oh. Okay. Good.' Woody finally said as the clear relief filled the cowboy's face. He confidently smiled and to say that made butterflies flutter in Buzz's stomach would be a lie. No words can compare to the feeling of the man infront of him and the space man turned his eyes and casted a quick grin.

'Okay, now as much I like your company, I have to find a cow. My dear Bessie.' Woody exclaimed, confidence covering his words almost like sugarcoated popcorn. 'Oh! Right Right.' Buzz replied, an easy smirk covering his face as he pulled himself off the warm covers and stood up, stretching to pull the muscles that were tense merely moments ago.

'Righty Oh!' Woody said as he helped Buzz get to the front door. The two exchanged their goodbyes and Buzz walked away, a smile covering his face as he couldn't get rid of the giddy feeling that only grew in his heart. What was happening? The spaceman stopped in the middle of the street and finally took in what was happening. Why was he feeling like this? What was making him feel so.. childish? 'Almost like a high school girl and her crush' he thought with a big grin. Then his face dropped.

Oh.

Oh.
