Chapter 13: He is back

Leia returned with the Resistance. She was back in the command bridge of the ship. Everything was calmed and everyone was in their corresponding position. It was getting late, and she was looking through the large window, when a shuttle from the First Order came out of hyperspace.

"General, a First Order comand shuttle just came out from hyperspace." Conix said from her screen viewing the shuttle.

"I see..." Leia responded, she actually didn't need anyone to tell her that the shuttle was there.

"What do we do now?"

"Don't let it scape, and load it to a private hangar. I will get in charge of this by myself." Leia ordered. She clearly recognized the ship.

"Do you want a squadron to go with you?"

"No thanks." She said and turned to Finn and Poe who were around. "You two come with me."

Ben's shuttle was now on the Resistance hangar. He waited a few seconds and decided to get out. He didn't know how he will figure this out, but he was dispossed to try. He was expecting the whole Resistance waiting for him, but it wasn't like that.

He lowered the ramp and he got out of the ship. When he got out he found with his mother waiting for him and other two men, 'the traitor and the pilot' he thought. Finn and Poe were pointing their blasters at him, ready to fire.

Ben raised up his arms as a rendition sign.

Before Finn was able to shoot him, Leia lowered his weapon with her hand and aproached her son. Finn and Poe both were surprissed by her reaction.

"You know you are in a lot of problems. I don't know how I'm going to forgive you." She said, and then they hugged each other.

"Mom, please forgive me. I have been acting like a fool all this time." He said almost crying.

"Yeah, I know you are a fool." Leia said and smiled. Ben smiled too, he had missed the sense of humour of his mother.

"Wow. I would never had expected that!" Poe said to Finn. Finn didn't answered, he was so surprissed about the actual situation he didn't know what to say in response.

Ben expected that his mother could be waiting for him and also Finn and Poe pointing their blasters at him, but the person he had came for was not there. "Where's Rey?" He asked.

"Oh she's not here," Leia responded. "She is in Chandrila. The real quetion here is... What are you doing here?"

"Well, General Hux betrayed me, he sent a squadron of stormtroopers to kill me this morning. And... uh... I decided to come here for Rey."

"Yeah, we all know by now... You never thought of using any protection right?" Leia said, Ben blushed.

"Emm... akward moment..." Poe said to Finn.

"Really akward. I... I think Rose is calling me." Finn said and walked outside the hangar.

"Yeah, and I'll see where is BB-8." Poe said and followed him.

"So, does everyone knows?" Ben asked anguished.

"That she is pregnant, everyone knows, but that you are the father, just some of us." Leia said.

"Who are those 'some'?"

"Don't worry, we are not so many. Just me, Finn, Poe, Rose, and Chewie know." Leia said, she had noticed his anguish. "Rey also told me that you were the one who killed Snoke. Is that true?"

"Yes, that's true. Snoke wanted me to killed her, but I couldn't, I didn't want to kill her, so I decided to kill Snoke instead." He thought for a moment... "I couldn't kill her because I love her, I love her with all my heart and I want to be with her."

"That's what I wanted to listen to." Leia said, she haven't felt so proud of her son in a very long time. "I will take you with her, but we need to wait untill is morning in Chandrila."

"Thank you mom. And again, sorry for everyting I did."

She smiled and said "I forgive you, now I know you have returned home."

Rey was sleeping, it was midnight, and she was having a nightmare or maybe she was remembering.

She saw herself, when she was little, a woman was cumbing her hair in the usual three buns, she tried to see the face of the woman, but she couldn't. When the woman finished cumbing Rey's hair, the little Rey smiled and hugged the woman saying "Thank you mommy!"

The memory changed, now Rey saw a little older. She wanted her mother to cumb her hair so she went to look for her.

She entered a room and she saw two shadows, she asumed her parents. Each of them had a bottle in their hands and they were drinking them.

She saw herself again, this time cumbing her hair by her own. When she finished she seemed to be proud. She went to show her parents, but this time they took her into a ship and they landed in a desert planet.

They told her that they will come back for her, someday. She saw them leaving the planet. She screamed, pleading for ther to come back, but they never retuned.

Rey woke up and she felt her kids inside her moving around. She knew they were afraid she could do the same to them. "Don't worry my sweeties." She said rubbing a hand on her belly. "I will never be able to do that to you. I love you both, and I know your father loves you too." When she said that she felt them calm down. She wiped out some tears from her face and tried to go back to sleep but she couldn't, she missed Ben a lot.
