Chapter 4: Excuses

Today was the day that Rey and Ben acorded to meet on Dantooine.

Ben wasn't occupied, acctually he had nothing to do, and that was perfect for his plan of meeting Rey later. Captain Phasma was occupied training the stormtroopers, and General Hux was occupied doing... what ever he was suppossed to do... 'Useless red-hair guy' Ben thought while aproaching the ship's bridge.

"Supreme Leader" Hux said welcoming Ben.

"General" Ben responded to his greeting annoyed.

"What's the meaning of your unusual visit this morning, Supreme Leader?" Hux said, knowing that Ben was going to ask him something, it wasn't normal the presence of Ben in the ship's bridge while they weren't under attack.

"General, I need to leave for a while." Ben said.

"Leave?" Hux said and frouned, "Leave where? How much time? Why?"

Ben was annoyed by Hux, just as always, and he didn't plan to give explanations especially to Hux, "I can't give details, and even if I give any explanation you wouldn't understand. You just need to know that I'm leaving you in charge of the fleet." Ben didn't wanted to leave Hux in charge of the fleet, he would have prefered Phasma to be in charge, but Hux was the 'General' and he had no option.

"And... when do you plan to come back?" Hux asked.

"I'm not sure maybe tomorrow. I'm going alone." Ben emphasized the word 'alone' so that Hux understood, "And if something is messed up when I return, then, you are going to be the one that's gonna pay for it!" Ben finally said and left to his shuttle.

"Force users..." Hux murmured to himsefl while watching Ben leave.

When Ben entered his shuttle he deactivated the tracking device and the comunication system, and then he finally left.

He felt excitement, but he was nervous too, how was he suppossed to tell Rey about his feelings for her? Was she going to believe him? Did she felt the same for him? He didn't know, and he wanted to know.

Rey's morning was relaxed, except for the fact that she had been thinking of an excuse for going to Dantooine. She needed to tell General Leia about her plans, but maybe not everything, she didn't have to mention Ben, but she still needed an excuse. She had breakfast, she showered, and she got ready to go, then she had an idea 'Blame the Force!' Yeah, that doesn't sound very good at first, but she didn't have any option.

She made her way to talk to General Leia, she was with Chewie, they were recieving some new ships and equipment from the allies.

"General, can I talk to you?" Rey asked politely.

"Yes Rey, but call me just Leia" Leia said with a gentle smile.

"Ok, Leia, uhm... I... I think I need to go." Rey said.

"Go? Where?" Leia asked, she wasn't expecting that.

"Dantooine" Rey reponded, "Something is telling me to go there, by some reason."

"I see, do you wan't someone to go with you?" Leia asked.

"No, but thanks, I feel that I need to go alone." Rey said a little rushed.

"Ok."

"Grrrrrrrrghrr" Chewie roared.

"Are you sure Chewie? I know it means a lot to you." Rey said.

"Grrrrr" Chewie roared in response, he was telling Rey to take the Millenium Falcon.

"Ok, thanks then." Rey said walking to the Falcon to leave, when Leia called her.

"Rey, just one thing, I just wanted to tell you that I have seen you disturbed the last days, and if you would like to tell me anything that you don't know how to say to someone, you can tell me, I will keep it secret. Anything." Leia said, she just wanted to help Rey, and she was disposed to help her as much as she could. "And, may the Force be with you."

"Thank you Leia." Rey said smiling and boarding the Falcon.

Once in the Falcon, Rey entered the coordinates for Dantooine, and entered light speed. At first she thought she must be careful of not letting the Porgs leave the ship and start invading Dantooine, but then she thought 'No they won't like the idea of leaving the ship.'

After a few moments Rey felt a prescence of someone inside the ship so she decided to go and have a look, and there he was "Master Luke." Rey said surprised.

"Don't be so surprised Rey, you should have expected that I was going to visit you someday." Luke said.

"Yes I did expected that, but, why today?" Rey said.

"Because I'm so proud of you, of your decisions. Blame the Force was a great excuse for seeing Kylo Ren." Luke said with sarcasm.

"Ok, you don't need to use sarcasm" Rey said ofended. "And his name is not Kylo Ren, his name is Ben."

"Oh, sorry, and talking about that, what's the matter between both of you. The last time you were holding hands through a, Force Bond? Seriously?" Luke said.

"Well, I don't know, I'm not sure about this feeling. Maybe, just maybe, I have a little crush on him?... I don't know." Rey said and let escape a deep breath.

"You know, attachments are forbidden for the jedi." Luke said and tought for a moment. "But maybe is the only way to save Ben."

"What?" Rey didn't understood.

"Yeah, maybe you are the only one who can save him from the dark. Maybe attachements shouldn't be forbidden." Luke said.

Rey looked at him awesomed, was he letting her love Ben? Well in other words, yes.

Luke felt a little weak he needed to go, he was getting tired and he couln't stay any longer.

"Rey, I need to go. Good luck, and please don't fall to the dark side. Oh, and also, don't do anything stupid." Luke said joking.

"Ok master, I won't, I'm not going to do anything stupid." Rey said and saw Luke fade away.
