14-(minho)

A lot has happened since then. I was trapped outside in the maze with Thomas and Alby and survived; the girl, Teresa, waking up; the walls no longer closing, grievers taking us one by one, and finding words that the maze spelt out.

Everything seemed to be falling apart after Ji-ho left, and when Thomas and Teresa arrived. Thomas went and got his memory back, which we figured out later after looking through Ji-ho's stuff that she too was trying to do the same. Just that she never gotten stung, that was probably why she wasn't waking up.

"How's everything going?" Thomas asked as he stepped into the map room.

"I think we have everything. It keeps repeating after this word, and stays the same every time." Teresa answered him smiling. It pained me to look at them, for it reminded me too much of Ji-ho and I while we spent time with one another.

"We go tomorrow. First daylight." I heard Thomas say and watched as others in the map room agree. "There should be a computer in the cliff. We enter those words and it should end this whole maze." Thomas said. I nodded along, for he was going to help me get out of this shucking place and then I was going to go and find Ji-ho.

After the night attack of the grievers once again, a dull morning light finally signaled for our escape. Alby was reluctant at first but was convinced and came with us. Everyone was going together, just Gally was left and no one knew where he had run off to within the maze.

"Are you shucking serious? How many are there?" I said as we approached the cliff to see grievers just sitting as if they knew we were coming.

"They said one person a day, so I'll go and distract them while you guys escape. Tell Ji-ho I said sorry if you ever meet her again." Alby said and ran towards the grievers only to be torn into shreds. We all watched in horror, and the grievers didn't just stop with him and proceeded to attack us as well.

Thomas, Teresa, and Chuck had already made it through the cliff and was entering the passcodes. While the rest of us were fighting to our deaths. More than half of us have been wiped out. Same with the grievers as well. We were fighting back as hard as we could, and just as I had given up hope, all the grievers suddenly stopped and no longered moved.

"Let's go before these things start back up again!" I shouted and those of us that were left jumped off the cliff and into the hole that Thomas them had jumped through. As everyone gather around together, suddenly bright lights flashed on to see that we were being observed by people in white coats. Then suddenly an opening opened before us to show a woman walking with Gally.

"I'm impressed to see much more people that expected...but you'll have to go through one last trial to finish the maze." the women said with an evil smirk.

"I'm...sor..ry...I.can't...con..trol..my...self. They..'re..making...me..do..it." Gally struggled to say as he slowly raised his hand that held a gun pointing towards Thomas. My feet frozen where they are, unable to move for some reason. I couldn't even yell out for Thomas. It seemed as if someone were controlling my body.

BANG! The gun went off. Everything seemed to be in slow motion. My eyes widen in surprised to see that Thomas was unharmed, while Chuck was laying on the floor bleeding to his death. The evil woman chuckled as if this was what she expected and left with Gally following her. The doors closing behind them.

"Chuck! Why did you cover me?!" Thomas yelled and bent down to apply pressure upon the gun wound. "I don't know...my body just moved on its own." Chuck said trying to smile but winced in pain.

I watched as Chuck said his last words to Thomas. Thomas wouldn't leave Chuck's side. "We have to go Thomas...I know it's hard, but we need to catch those people who did this to Chuck and everyone else." I said putting my hand upon his shoulder. Thomas finally stood up and we exited out the room through the same doors that Gally and the evil woman had left.

This only led to a room where dead bodies laid and a clip of another woman telling us why we were thrown into the maze and what happened to the world. My heart was drenched in fear, for if this place was attacked and people were killed, what happened to Ji-ho. Was she still alive? Was she dead? So many thoughts were running through my head.

Just then a group of men burst into the room yelling that they were here to save us and that we needed to leave now. As we were rushed outside, the light almost blinding me. As we made our way towards the bus that was waiting outside. There was a crazy woman that seemed a little deformed coming towards us yelling something. I couldn't catch what was being said for the group of men that saved us was rushing us into the bus.

"Now you're safe. Get some rest. It's going to be a long ride before we get back to the base." a man said and the bus took off running over the crazy lady.

The bus ride was long. We finally reached the base by the time night fell. Again we were rushed into the building that seemed to be more safe than anywhere else at the moment. Thomas was still sleeping.

"Thomas! Wake up! We have to go now!" I said shaking him awake and ran along with him into the base. It was small, but we were all given beds and had the opportunity to wash ourselves up. We all went to bed early for some reason, and woke up to Thomas shouting something about Teresa. And then came the crazy people that started to shout and try to reach towards us through the windows. It went on for what seemed forever.

Finally the locked door popped open, only to have total darkness on the other side. I was sacrificed to go. Just kidding. "If one of those things come after me. I'll scream for help." I said smirking at Thomas who gave me a smile back and I walked into the darkness.

I slowly made my way into the darkness. Unsure whether or not those monsters may attack me at any given moment. What was that smell? Did something rot in here? I felt the walls for the light switch, and could hear others start to follow me into the darkness. It should be around here somewhere. I reached out and finally felt the light switch and switched it on.

The scene before us was horrific. The men that had helped us escape, was dead. Their bodies laid hanging and the rotting smell was coming from them. I felt like gagging. I could hear others gag, but I held strong and followed Thomas towards Teresa's room.

"It's locked." Thomas said and started to bang on the door yelling Teresa's name over and over again. "Teresa!" he yelled. The door finally opened, but it wasn't her. It was another boy that none of us knew.
