12-(minho)

06:48, 30 May 2017

I had just gotten back from the maze. Newt was waiting for me and was freaking out. I couldn't understand a shucking word that was coming from his mouth. "Suzy won't wake up." I finally heard Newt say. Even after running for hours, my legs started for the med-jack's tent. Newt following me.

"Where is she?" I said as I entered to see Clint and Alby standing beside her. She was laying down on one of the beds, and seemed lifeless, but I could slightly see her chest raise up and down as if she was barely breathing. "What happened?!" I shouted running to her side.

"Calm down. We found her like this and this things stuck to her arm. We tried to see what was in it, but by the time we got to her everything inside this tube was gone." Alby said pointing to it.

"We tried waking her up, but she wouldn't respond. She's still breathing, so that's a good sign so far." Clint said while bandaging the spot where the needle had penetrated her arm.

"Why'd you guys leave her alone?!" I said angry now. "What if she wasn't breathing right now?!" I shouted.

"Calm down Minho." Newt said placing a hand on my shoulder. I shrugged him off. I had to get away from here because I couldn't stand looking at her just laying there and not waking up. It was as if she were dead.

I ran my room to cool off. I was only mad because as her friend, I wasn't there to stop this from happening. Because I was her friend...who am I kidding. That was only an excuse to get her to talk to me again. I buried my face into my hands and sighed. I then laid down on my bed, and couldn't help but think about Ji-ho.

I thought back to the day she said she still hated me and for us to never be alone with one another. It should have been a bad memory, but at this moment it wasn't. I remembered taking in all her beautiful features of her face and body. Her voice too. I closed my eyes and saw her beautiful smile and she was talking to me. Her perfect face as she closed her eyes and seemed to enjoy the breeze that gently caused a ripple of movement of her hair and loose shirt.

A knock on the door disturbed my thoughts. "Minho." I heard Alby's voice as he entered my room with Newt following him. "We have something to tell you." he said as both looked like they had just committed a crime.

"What." I said annoyed.

"It's about Suzy." Newt said, and fear weighed on my heart. Was she dead? "She's still doing fine, but it's about that time when you found us at the deadheads." Newt said. I scowled remembering that night, for it was the night I lost Ji-ho.

"What about it." I said still scowling. Newt took a deep breath and was about to say something, but Alby interrupted him.

"I told Suzy to stop your guys romantic relationship because I thought it was going to get in the way of you being a runner. Especially, you being the keeper of the runners." Alby said with much regret hanging onto every word he spoke. "As the leader of this glade, I thought that was the best choice at that point in time. Yet, as her friend and yours I hated for it to come to that. I was going to let you in on it too, but Suzy asked me not to let you know. That was the only thing I could do since she was giving you up due to my selfish request." Alby said his eyes watery form unfallen tears.

I got up and held Alby by the collar of his shirt. "Minho, you know this could get you banished if you take it any step further!" Newt said worried and tried to take my hands off Alby's collar. "Did she really choose to let me go...?" I said dropping my hands back to my side.

"She still loves you." I heard Newt say and I looked at him surprised.

"That's not possible. She said she hated me." I said going back to sit on my bed.

"She wouldn't ask me how you're doing every single day, if she didn't love you." Newt said as I looked up at him.

"Do you know what she told me the day after you saw the both of us at the deadheads. She told me that she was horrible saying that she hated you. She said she didn't mean it when she said she never loved you in the first place. Or when she said she didn't want to ever be alone with just the two of you together. She didn't mean it, any of it." Newt said sadly.

"I know it was Alby and I who put her in a tough situation between what benefited the glade or to let go of you. Although she says it's not our fault, I can't help but blame myself for letting this situation become a bigger problem than it was intended to be. Now I know how you guys felt when I tried to commit suicide." Newt said as I avoided his gaze as he talked about the time he attempted to commit suicide.

"I get it." I said. "Why didn't you guys just shucking tell me earlier instead of waiting until she's practically on what seems to be her deathbed!" I shouted from anger. The both of them couldn't utter a response, standing there looking defeated. "Just give me some space for now. Please." I said as calmly as I could and the two left shutting my door.

A week had passed and Ji-ho still wasn't up. I was losing hope. The creators were also sending medical equipment for her, as if they were trying to make sure to keep her alive. Today a new greenie was suppose to arrive, I didn't have the energy to to go out and celebrate. I sat beside her sleeping figure and kiss her forehead gently before heading out to at least get to know the greenie's face.

"Thomas! My name is Thomas!" I saw the greenie shouting in joy as I made my way to the bonfire.

"How is she?" Newt asked as I stood beside him. I shook my head, and saw him frowning. He then walked away with a cup of Gally's secret recipe, and took the greenie somewhere more private. At one point, I saw Newt point to me, and the greenie looked up at me.

"Clint said that her vitals are getting much more stronger, and that she should be up anytime soon. The stuff the creators are sending is working." Alby said sitting beside me. I nodded and took a sip of Gally's special drink. It didn't taste like anythings. Usually I could feel the slight bitterness as it ran the back of my throat.

"Thanks for letting me know. Rather than keeping me in the dark forever." I said to see a shocked Alby staring at me. I smirked, "Did you think I'd hate you forever? Just so you know I don't hate you two shanks." Alby chuckled. He said Ji-ho had said the same thing. I smiled imagining her.

The next morning came. The alarm for the box started going off. It wasn't suppose to, something was wrong. Everyone started running towards the box. Gally was the first to arrive and opened the box.

"It's another girl." I heard him say as more of the boys gathered around the box. I made my way to the front of the crowd along with the greenie and looked at the girl laying there as if she was dead.

Gally jumped into the box and checked to see if the girl was still breathing or not. She was. "Thomas!" the girl shouted as she opened her eyes, scaring Gally and the rest of us. She fainted again, and all eyes were on Thomas.

"Hey you guys! She has a note..." Gally read it silently and I saw his expression turn into fear as he looked at me.

"What's it say." Alby said.

"She's the last one ever. And if failure to put Suzy into the box within the next hour, all lives be sacrificed. W.I.C.K.E.D." Gally said as his hand slightly shook from fear. I snatched the paper from his hand to read exactly what was just said. They wanted her back. They were going to take her away.
