Chapter 5:

LISTEN IM NOT GOOD WITH PROPHECIES BUT WHAT EVER COMES OUT STAYS LIKE THAT LML

I stood there not even knowing what to do next. Chiron sprinted through the crowded poeple and picked up Anabeth.

When he ran off into the hospital, everybody was looking at me with fear, joy, and pity. Like hey its not my fault, she knows how I feel about my hair getting wet..... Ok fine it was my fault, but nobody told her to push me.

"I think you should go over there and say sorry to her.... thats the least you could do" A girl from the Demeter cabin said looking at me from head to toe.

I didnt responded to what she said. I just simply uncapped Victorious back into a ring, and darted off into the hospital.

When I finally got there I saw this creepy guy with eyeballs all over his body . He was giving Anabeth this yellow liquidy stuff, which I figured it helped her because she started moving. But still though that guy had a lot of eyeballs, And I do mean all over his body, like his face was full of them, his arms, his legs, ugh I dont even want to think where he has them next.

I walked straight to Anabeth and sat beside her on the bed, "Are you okay?"

Anabeth blinked several times and said, "I thought you didnt wanna to talk to me"

I stood silent for a minute and then said, "Well, I guess I snapped out of it when I saw how you got clapped with those big watery hands"

Anabeth laughed but let out a small groan.

"Im sorry for being a jerk I shouldhav-" But she cut me off.

"No, Im sorry I shoul dave told you a long time ago...If I did non of this would have happened" She said looking deep into my sea green eyes.

I gave out a smile and said,"But anyways, what happened to our fake parents?"

"I dont even know" Anabeth said.

"Oh well" I said

I hugged Anabeth so hard, that its just what I needed..... a sister's comfort. Like yeah I know that I have said that I will never talk to her and what so ever... but that its not going to happen. She is still my sister no matter what.

"Marina" Somebody call me from behind.

"Yeah" I said turning around to face Chiron.

"You need to come with us to the meeting, since your the cabin leader for now and of course since the prophecy involves you" He said

I looked at Anabeth and said, "Is she going to come too?"

"If she feels well enough" He said looking straight at Anabeth.

"I kind of do, I just need to take some more Ambrosia and I'm perfect" She said as she was drinking that liquidy stuff.

When Anabeth finished drinking the ambrosia she literally bolted up from the bed and said, "Lets go"

I was in a big conference room, I was of course next to Anabeth while next to her was Byson Leo, across from me was Piper, all the way down to Demeter's cabin.

"Alright, are you ready?" Chiron asked me.

"Yeah" I said simply.

A daughter of Poseidon will save the day,

You will go west through the big waves,

Monsters will torment you half way,

While a camper will appear in your way,

You will choose from right or wrong

You will face the Sorsores heir,

and destroy her until she falls.

Chiron looked at me and said, "Do you understand this?"

"Well I understood the first line" I said with my eyebrows raised.

"'You will go west through the big waves' that means that you will obviously have to go to California" Joshua said as he was putting his feet up on the table

"How do you know I have to go to California you know it all?" I snapped.

Everybody gave little laughs, even Chiron.

"Well its type obvious that in California its where the big waves are at" He said as a matter of fact.

"He's got a point" A guy from the Hermes cabin said nodding.

"' Monsters will torment you half way' so watch out and be ready for whats going to come cause its not going to be easy" Piper said

" ' A camper will appear on your way' I think that maybe one of us will appear with them or something " Jason said as he was looking deep into my eyes.

"No really?" I said sarcastically at him.

Piper noticed the way he was looking at me and nudged him in the rib.

"Ow! what was that for" Jason said as he put his right hand on his rib.

Piper gave him a grin and said, "Anywho, 'you will choose from right or wrong' probably you will get into a point where you will have to choose something that will take you to the right path or help you or maybe make you evil or good...."

I gave a slight shrug, so far I dont even know what or where my fate is going to stand. All I know is that I have to save my Twin brother and thats it.

" 'You will face the sorcores heir, and defeat her until she falls' I guess this is the enemy, so obviously there will be a point in the end where you will kill this person" Joshua said

"I guess thats the end.... so, who will you choose?" Chiron asked

"Choose what?" I asked consufingly.

Everybody around the room gave slight chuckles, except for Leo, Piper, and Anabeth.

"Choose two campers to acoompany you" Chiron said

I looked around the room and I definetly knew that I have to take Anabeth, she's definetly the only one that could help me get through this.

"I will obviously have to pick Annabeth and...." I said using my index finger. Leo was mouthing to pick him but I said, "Joshua"

"Me?" He said surprisingly.

"Yes Mr. Know it all" I said sarcastically.

I could tell that Leo looked dissapointed.... but I just cant take him with me, I have my reasons.

"I guess that raps it up for today" Chiron said

Everybody soon got up and started leaving out of the conference room. I try to see if Leo was here so I could tell him why, but I guess he's mad at me.

Joshua started to walk towards me and Anabeth with utter surprisement, "Wow I thought big girl wasnt going to pick me afterall, but what can I say, you know... I am kind of good looking"

"You are so conceded" I said rolling my eyes.

"And you are so cocky" He said with a smirk.

"Why dont you guys just get married? already" Anabeth said as she was rolling her eyes.

"Hell no, she's all in love with that Leo guy" he said with a grimace.

"No Im not" I said smacking him on the side.

"Anyways, when are we leaving?" Anabeth asked.

"Tonight obviously" Joshua said folding his arms.

"Fine, but we have to get everything packed" I said waving my hair to the side.

"Duh" Joshua said

"I'll get the ambrosia, with some snacks, a tent, and spare clothes" Anabeth said

"How will you fit all of that in a simple bookbag?" I asked.

"Its called magic my friend" Joshua said as he was putting his arms around me.

"Uh no" I said getting away from his grasp.

Anabeth already walked away, I guess she was tired of us arguing. But she will definetly have to get used to it when we start traveling.

"I guess its you and me baby" He said getting closer to me.

"No, I guess its just you" I said walking away.

"Aw, C'mon dont do this" He said walking behind me.

Leo's POV

"I cant beleieve that she didnt picked me for the quest?! can you beleive that?!" I said flapping my arms.

"Probably she had a good reason to not pick you" Piper said as she was sitting on my bed.

"It better be a good one, like is there something wrong with me?" I asked her with concern.

"You mean the reasons that stands out of the other reasons?" Piper said as she was biting her lip.

"Piper, not helping" I said sitting beside her.

Piper stood quiet for a while and said,"She must have a good reason"

"Piper you just said that already"

"Leo just face it, if she didnt pick you... then she didnt pick you, end of story" Piper said getting up from the bed now.

At one point, Piper was right. But then on the other hand she's not. Like I was the first person that Marina ever talked to and she chosed Joshua over me. Ugh, she must have a good reason why she picked that jerk.

"Piper!" A girl with tan skin, dark glasses, and long black hair said with deep sighs.

"Annelis, whats wrong?" Piper said walking towards her.

Oh yeah, Annelis Sanchez, she's daughter of Apollo, which of course makes her the half sister of Joshua. But at least she's not a jerk like her brother.

"It's Jason.....He..... left camp" She said sitting on the floor now. Wow I guess she was running from far away because to get this tired?

"What!" Me and Piper said in unision

"Yes he left" She said breathing normally now.

"But where?" Piper asked rapidly.

"I-I dont know" She said

"What do you mean you dont know?!" She said shaking her.

"Piper calm down" I said pulling her back

"Nobody knows.... he just left.... nobody noticed him leaving" She said as she was getting up from the floor.

"Oh Gods" Piper said covering her face

"Alright, lets all come down, he might have just left to get something" I said simply.

"Oh please, I know this kid to well" Piper said walking in circles now.

"You dont mean...."

"I think he went to save Percy"

Marina's POV

"You guys ready?" I asked

"Yeah" They said in unition.

Thankfully, we got everything packed just in time. Such as the ambrosia, some snacks, spair clothes, a tent, money, and these coins called Drachmas.

"Wait" Joshua said rapidly.

"What now?" I said stomping on the floor.

"What transportation are we going to use?" He said with his eyebrow raised.

"Thats why theres a method called walking" Anabeth said as she put her backpack on.

"Do you really want to go walking?" He said looking at us both.

"What else do we have Mr. Know it all" I said cooly.

Joshua stood quiet.

"Exactly" I said

Anabeth rolled her eyes and said,"Can we go now?"

"Yes" I said flatly.

Joshua muttered something under his breath so I said,"Is there a problem now?"

"Gods Marina just leave the boy alone" Anabeth said walking besides me.

"Exactly" Joshua said with a grin

"It doesnt mean that I'm sticking up to you eather"Anabeth said

Joshua gave her an icy look but remained quiet.

When we finally got away from Camp Ultimate we started to walk along the side of the road. In about a minute or two, I saw that Joshua stopped.

"What now Joshua?" I said walking towards him.

"This is stupid can we just go on some type of transportation or something, were gonna take to long" Joshua said as he was folding his arms.

"Fine since you are whining to take transportation, how about you look for something that will take us west!" I said pointing his chest.

Joshua pushed me aside and said,"Give me a golden drachma"

"For what?" Anabeth asked

"Just give me"

Anabeth took her bag off, unzipped the front zipper and tooked out one Golden Drachma,"Here"

"Thank you" He said with a smile.

"No problem" She said as she was putting her bag on again.

Joshua put the Drachma out into the sky and muttered a prayer. He soon threw it on the road and the floor literally turned black.

"What are you doing?" I said with full of worry.

"He's calling a taxi" Anabeth said simply.

The black floor soon started turning into a taxi. But it was unlike every other taxi in New York. I mean it wasnt yellow, it was smoky gray. It looked like it was woven out of smoke,like you could walk through it. There were three ladys on the front and it looked like they were fighting for an eye. Wait an eye?! what the hell of a cab is this?!

"Temptest give me the eye!!" The woman on the middle said as she was fighting with the driver who's name appears to be Temptest.

"Wasp, Im the one whos driving not you!" The one who is name Tempest said to the woman on the middle who appears to be named Wasp.

"I dont think this is a good idea" I said nodding sideways.

"Hey uglies!!" Joshua shouted at them.

The three women stopped and looked at Joshua. One of the women was looking the other way so the woman named Wasp turned her head to the other side.

"Yes" Temptest said with a crooked smile.

"Can you take us west from here?" Joshua said as he was leaning in on the car.

I looked at Anabeth and she nodded saying,"I've been on this cab before.... no worries"

Okay, no worries.

"Fine, that will be 3 drachmas" The woman on the corner of the car said.

"Here you go Anger" He said with a smile.

Joshua soon opened the door and gestured us to come in. I stood there unsure if I should go in or not, but Anabeth pushed me towards the Taxi. When all of us finally got in, Temptest looked back at us and said,"Better buckle up"

I tried to find a seatbelt but there was only a big chain. So I prefer not to have that on.

The one named Temptest said,"West side of the United States no problemo!"

When she floored the accelarator, my whole body literally went back to the backrest. The cab soon did a U turn and speed all the way to the left side. I dont know how but Wasp managed to take Temptest eyeball out and put it in her eye-hole.

"I can see!!" She exclamied.

"But I cant!" Temptest shouted. And the even worse thing is that Temptest is the one driving.

"Take a left" Wasp shouted

Temptest took a rough left which made me fall beside Joshua.

"If only you give me the EYE everything will be fine" Temptest shouted.

"Oh give me that" Anger said as she plopped the eye out of Wasp.

"Ew, I think Im going to be sick" I said as Anger was putting the Eyeball on her socket.

"Oh dont worry you'll get used to it" Joshua said patting my head.

Temptest took another right, which made me slam Anebeth to the door,"Sorry"

"No problem" Anabeth said letting out a big groan.

The sisters were fighting for real now, slapping each other as Wasp tried to get Anger's eye, and Temptest trying to get Wasp tooth. Temptest punched the gas even harder, and right now it looked like we were driving 100 miles per hour. As Tempest drove as fast as she could, and Anger telling her to take a left or right, we actually made it to Washington Bridge.

"I am definetly going to vomit" I said turning green already.

"Do you guys have a bag or something?" Anabeth shouted at the three sisters.

The three sisters werent even listening to Anabeth, they still kept fighting over and over like stupid brats. But the worse part was that I vomited all over Joshua.

"Eww" Joshua said as he was coughing with disgust.

"Oh Gods no" Anabeth said as she was pressing herself to the corner.

In a few seconds Joshua started to vomit too and I swear the whole back seat looked like we were bathing in vomit.

"Oh no what did you guys do?" Anger said looking back.

"Get your eyes on the road!" Wasp said taking the eye from Anger now.

When we passed the George Washington Bridge, Temptest soon stopped on the corner and said,"Alright get out"

"Why?" Anabeth said madly.

"Hello, you've said it before, we only drive in New York not out, and second your little friends messed up the back of the car" She said cooly.

"Fine then lets go"Anebeth said getting out of the car as quickly as she can.

I started to follow her out of the car and so did Joshua. The taxi soon drove back to New York, and all you see is me and Joshua bathed in vomit.

"Thank Gods I brung spare clothes" Anabeth said as she was taking out some clothes from her bookbag.

"If it wasnt for Joshua, non of this wouldhave happened!!" I shouted at him.

"Well it wasnt my fault that you got carsick!!!" He shouted back.

"Both stop it already! we barely started our quest and both of you guys are fighting like little girls" Anabeth said with full anger.

"Well, Im a girl.... I dont know about him" I said looking at him from head to toe.

"You see, Marina you keep starting everything, stop!" Anabeth shouted.

Joshua stood quiet, and I could tell that he wasnt going to say any comment because Anabeth was about to say something smart to him.

"Here, both of you guys get dressed" Anabeth said as she was throwing the clothes on the grass.

"What are you going to do?" Joshua asked as he was raising his eyebrow.

"Im going to make a tent" Anabeth said with a smile.

Joshua nodded and started walking straight into the woods, while I took the other side.
