Making a Sacrifice

Tux stared at the ground as he sat on his legs, and Benjamin touches the cat's cheek, "Tux?....Can you hear me?" Tux was silent and he lifts his head, looking at the young boy and black tears fall down his cheeks, "B-Benjamin.....I.....I have no excuse for my actions...." He looks down and he feels Benjamin hug him tight and he rests his head on the boy's shoulder. Mr. Hopp, Mr. Stripes and Miss Bo were also silent and Esther and her friends hug them tight. Benjamin's eyes water and he buries his face in the cat's chest, petting his fur. 

Tux wraps his arms around Benjamin and looks at him. He sees Benjamin's face stained with a bit of dirt, tear stains, and a little blood. He touches his forehead against Benjamin's and holds him close, "I'm so sorry...I'm so so sorry....for all the pain I've caused you...." Benjamin wraps his arms around Tux's neck gently, crying, "I was scared too....I thought you forgotten who I was..." Tux nuzzles him, purring softly and he stands up, "We have to get you all out of here. It's too dangerous. This is our fight." 

Benjamin looks up at him, "What? Tux, no, you have to come with us...I don't want to lose you again." He shakes and the monster cat comforts him, "You have to get your friends and your uncle back to safety. I promise we'll find our way back." He picks up Benjamin and gives him to John, "You guys have to go. Now." The ground shakes and they all knew that the Entity was coming back and they get them to safety.

"You have to get back to the real world. It's going to be too dangerous." Mr.. Hopp said as he made sure the necklace was still on Esther. Esther looks up at him, "But....but...." "Go...." She looks at the monster rabbit and hugs him tight and they huddle together as the four monsters face the Entity and Mr. Hopp touches the necklace and there was a flash of light from the Six and they all wake up back in the house, Mr. Hopp, Mr. Stripes, Miss Bo, and Tux staying behind to protect their kids. Benjamin sits up on his knees and he looks down, crying softly. 

Isaac sits up, panting and he looks around and Esther wipes her tears, "They...they stayed behind to face him..." Molly pants a bit, "But...but you saw that thing. He.....He's powerful enough to possess them and take back their life! How will we know if they survive?" Benjamin lifts his head a bit, "I don't know....but I do know Tux....and he always keeps his promises. I know they'll come back...they have too..."

"But....but what if they don't?...." John looks at his nephew and Benjamin looks back down, "Then they sacrificed themselves to save us...." John crawls to his nephew and comforts him, giving him a tight hug, Benjamin crying softly in his uncle's dirty shirt. He gets the children cleaned up and dressed in clean clothes before getting himself and Benjamin sits on his bed, staring at the floor and he holds a small drawing of him and Tux together and his eyes water, "Please come back alive to me.....Please...."
