Yoongi POV

He wasn't able to relax until Jungkook came back downstairs, his shoulders slouching in relieve. The boy shot him a short nod and then pretended like nothing was wrong.

Bullshit. He'd known Jimin for more than two years now, and never seen him so lost and angry and confused. And despite the fact that he really liked the guy, he hated what Jungkook was doing to his friend.

Sweet Jesus, he'd been beyond shocked when he finally connected the dots. Jimin's weird behavior started right on the day Jungkook stepped into the office. And then his face as he had entered this house and seen Jungkook. And the most obvious of all: the way he was looking at Jungkook and the young boy staring back at him. He couldn't believe the other's hadn't noted.

Well, he thought, glancing at Namjoon who had not stopped chewing his lips since coming back from talking to Jungkook and found Jimin on the way down.He was pretty sure Namjoon knew too, maybe even more than him.

It was pretty messed up. Not only did Jungkook have a fiancé, but he was their boss. And no matter how friendly and awesome he was right now, he still held power over Jimin- could get him fired. He hoped the younger wouldn't do that, and he didn't think he would, but truth was, he didn't really know Jungkook that well yet...

But Yoongi had problems of his own. And this time, they had nothing to do with money and everything to do with the boy who stood in their middle right now, dancing and laughing and singing along to the loud music.

He remembered the shame and embarrassment when he had come knocking at Jimin's door. He'd known about the boys before of course from Jimin's stories, but never actually met them.

And just when he thought he had hit rock bottom, this smiling boy had appeared in front of him and told him everything would be all right.

What the boys had did for him... they had no idea. And yet, Yoongi couldn't live like this forever. He hated to know he was living of the expenses on others, not contributing to anything. He told them he had quit his job at the post office even though he had gotten fired. If not for living in the flat now, he would have been royally screwed.

But it changed nothing. He would find another job and pay his share of the rent. He hated feeling like a leech and it bothered him to no end that they kept refusing his money. He knew they meant well, but they didn't understand. His parents had taken money from other's too and look where it had gotten him.

Jin, Jimin and Tae might understand, but Hoseok was different. He came from a fairly wealthy household, never even having to think about money and he swarmed around Yoongi like a mother bee, making him breakfast, cooking him dinner, and yesterday, he had come home with several bag of new clothes for him.

He meant well, but it made Yoongi feel like a charity case. But the way he always smiled at him, so happy and giddy, how could Yoongi refuse? Hoseok was just too nice. And Yoongi, who normally spoke his mind freely, could not find it in himself to tell him how his generosity made him feel uncomfortable.

Even now, the boy danced and smiled at him, then hurried to the kitchen to bring Yoongi another beer when he saw it was empty. He took it with a thanks, trying to see it as nothing else but a friend being observant. Then the younger dropped himself on the sofa next to him, clinking his own beer with his.

"So, are you having fun?" he asked, his smile making his eyes glitter like stars. He really was beautiful. "Yeah, I am. A bit weird with.. you know.. my boss sitting across from me, but definitely fun."

Hoseok giggled and drew up his legs, sitting sideways to look at Yoongi. His soft brown hair was sticking to his forehead and his skin gleaming a little from all the dancing and jumping around, but he looked not the least bit exhausted.

"Yeah, I can imagine that might be a bit weird. But how crazy, hmm? Seems like fate, all of us being here together. I'm really so glad you're living with us, Yoongi. You're awesome!"

Yoongi took a long drink, trying to hide his blushing face. He wasn't the kinda guy to get flustered easily, but he'd also never known anyone quit like Hoseok. He spoke compliments so easily and none of them seemed forced. He was simply a cheerful, kind and absolutely loving guy. He probably complimented a lot of people like this, but Hoseok just had a way of making him feel special. And that was probably stupid.

He hadn't known him that long, but Jimin had been speaking about his friends a lot, and so he was well aware of Hoseok's track record and how he brought home a lot of different people. It hadn't happened since he moved in, but that had only been three days ago...

"Ah, ah, I can see you're blushing, Yoongi! You can take the compliment. You really are fun to hang out with." Yoongi forced a happy smile on his face. "Thanks. You guys are amazing too. I can't thank you enough," he said and meant it.

Hoseok made a face and just waved it off, like it was nothing. His stomach flipped. "Oh, don't even mention it. We love to help. And now that you don't have to work so late anymore, we can hang out a lot more!"

Yep... that was the problem. He would work late again, starting next Monday. Another crap job and hard labor, but he didn't say so now. Now, he just wanted to enjoy these few days of freedom, before his life would return to it's norm- to what he was used to. So instead of telling him the truth, he smiled and clinked their beer again. "To new friends," he said and Hoseok's smile turned even brighter. "And to having loads and loads of fun!"

Hoseok hooted and stood up to dance again, but this time, he dragged Yoongi up with him. He groaned and shook his head. "No, no, I don't do dancing, Hoseok."

"Oh, yes you will!" the boy grinned back at Yoongi,  and despite not being a big fan of dancing, found himself smiling too as Hoseok swung his arms forth and back, then twirled him. Yoongi nearly tripped, but Hoseok was there to catch his weight and Yoongi no longer smiled, but giggled. Wow... he never giggled, but this was fun.

Hoseok's smile was rivaling the sun as he turned him again, and Yoongi broke out into another round of giggles. The boy suddenly stopped his dancing, staring at him wide eyed and then shouted loud and sudden: "A kitten!"

Yoongi snorted and tilted his head in confusion. "A kitten?" He asked, not sure what was up with the random animal name. "Am I supposed to say baby elephant or something?"

"No," Hoseok laughed and then stepped closer, bobbing his nose. Yoongi froze. Did he just... Oh... And here he was, blushing again.

"You know, I was wondering what kind of animal you reminded me of. Now I know. It's a kitten!"

Yoongi gaped at him. Hoseok was so weird, but the way he looked at him- like he had just found and answer to a question he had asked himself for a long time, was leaving him breathless. "I...I-I'm not a kitten!" Yoongi finally exclaimed, finding his voice again.

Hoseok grinned so wide, his eyes nearly fully disappeared and then he bobbed his nose again. "Yeah! Totally a kitten. Tiny and adorable!"

Yoongi choked, but Hoseok had already grabbed his wrist again and twirled him around once more, laughing brightly.

"I'm not a kitten and I'm not adorable!" Yoongi hissed out, not because he had something against them, but he had no idea how to deal with being called that. Was it a compliment? Was Hoseok making fun of his height?

But the boy making him swirl and dance around him only kept laughing and grinning as he said: "You totally are. Small, cute but you also got claws, don't you Yoongi? And you're certainly good at hissing."Jeez, he was utterly ridiculous. Yoongi rolled his eyes, but said nothing else. He felt like no matter what he might say, Hoseok would insist on comparing him to kittens.

But honestly, he couldn't care less, not when the boy had him laughing and giggling like crazy by the way he danced around him, being purposely funny by pulling out the most random, weird looking dance moves.

Yoongi couldn't remember the last time he had ever laughed that hard. And while he still wasn't a big fan of dancing, he absolutely loved dancing with Hoseok.
