Chapter 7: Left behind

The two sat on the frail plumber's bed as he ate and they talked. Soon after he was done a knock was heard on the door before Wendy opened it up, with Kamek behind her. "Alright! It's 9:30! And it's Wednesday! Meaning were all having our separate times with Mr. Luigi and I'm first! Since I'm a girl, ladies first as they say" Wendy said, with a lot of sass in her voice.

"Oh right, see you at 12:30 Mr. Luigi?" Larry smiled and asked. Luigi smiled back and nodded. Larry left the room and closed the door behind him, meanwhile, Kamek teleported to the chair at the desk and pulled out a book, still intently watching Luigi so he doesn't do anything bad.

"Finally! Now! I have a surprise for you Mr. Luigi!" Wendy continued on while Luigi got up from his bed.

"Ah, I a see, give me a memento, I'm going to go get changed real a quick." Luigi said before getting stopped.

"Oh no no, you won't need to, at least not into your regular clothes.." Luigi became quite confused and Wendy then pulled out a pink dress, similar design to Peach's.

"Oh Mamma Mia.." Luigi muttered at Kamek snickered, continuing to read his book. As the day went on, Luigi played dress up with Wendy and allowed her to tell him about gossip, played chess with Iggy, watched Listened to Roy tell him about his wrestling, watched Larry show him skateboard tricks, taught Morton how to play chess, Cross Stitched with Ludwig, colored with Lemmy, and finally played hide and seek with Junior. As the day went by, Kamek's intense watching decreased by the hour but once Luigi was playing with the two youngest, he dropped his book down and watched like a hawk. The green mario brother couldn't blame him though, as said before they are the youngest, and easiest to get hurt. Though his gaze softened when Kemek saw Lemmy and Junior hug Luigi when their time was up. It quickly went away in the end.

Later in the day at around 5:47, there was a big bang, this startled Luigi, but then he heard Bowser's roar. "Mario!" He thought of him immediately, he was so relieved he was here. Though then his heart stung, he would leave the koopalings. He tried to shake his head off it and just waited for Mario to arrive. 40 minutes would pass, no mario, the shaking of the castle had stopped, and Luigi was still waiting. Polterpup was cuddling into his lap, sleeping. He must have been playing with the koopalings while they waited for their turn to hang out with Luigi because he was all tuckered out.

The doors opened up, Luigi then smiled brightly expecting Mario, it was Roy and Ludwig. His expression changed to a bit of disappointment, while Roy and Lugwig looked at each other and then Luigi with confusion.

"What are you doing here Mr. Luigi?" Roy asked, Luigi was quite confused at this question himself.

"Yeah, didn't you leave with that meanie Mario?" Ludwig continued as Luigi's heart sank, did he leave him behind again? No, no he didn't he's still here. . . right? "He's not here? Luigi asked quietly.

"He.. Left 10 minutes ago Mr. Luigi.." Ludwig answered slowly, seeing the pain in Luigi's eyes.

Ludwig and Roy hugged Luigi before leaving him alone to his thoughts, he couldn't help but break down once the door closed, leaving him alone. Why would his brother do this? He thought, then again this isn't the first time, but those times were accidents, right?

Later a knock could be heard from the door once again, Luigu wiped his teary eyes and sniffed. It was Bowser, he came in and he had a few bandages on his and once he saw Luigi, he looked distressed.

"So it's true.. He left you behind?.." Bowser asked, even though he already knew the answer, Luigi was quiet. Why did it pain him so much to see this small pathetic man hurt? The room was silent for a moment before Bowser spoke once again. "Would you like to join me and my children for dinner, its in 30 minutes. Luigi looked up at Bowser and smiled lightly, his eyes still wet from crying. "Yes please.. I would a like that a lot, Bowser.."
