-Previously on Half Human... Half Lion-

"She has renounced her claim on the Son of Adam's blood," Aslan announced. I was so relieved when he said that simple sentence. Everyone around me was delighted as much as I was. I guess that speech work.

"How do I know your promise will be kept?" The Witch asks back at her throne. Then Aslan roared at her that made her fall into her seat. Everyone cheered at Aslan for that. Everyone cheered for that I get to stay alive. I get a surprise hug from Leo. I was surprised in both says but I hugged her back. She then let go.

"I guess that speech really did work," She said with relieve and joy in her tone then he hugged me again. I let go once fauns started coming up to me to congratulate me. I'm so happy I can't even explain.

-And now on Half Human... Half Lion-

Leona's POV,

It was now dark outside and father wanted to talk with me. He said it had something to do with what his promise was to the Witch. I snuck out of my tent when the girls were asleep, I took my messenger bag and my daggers with me just in case. I put on a long green cape that went to my feet with a hood on it so no one could see me. Father was waiting outside.

"Walk with me dear," he said. We walked into a forest.

"Leona, there is a promise I kept with the White Witch. Can I trust you if I tell you this promise?" He asks.

"Of course father."

"Well, your speech did work with the Witch. I was able to get Edmund not killed on the Stone Table because I know that you and the rest of the Pevensie love him. I can't let you be heartbroken when the one you truly love dies but to replace Edmund, I had to take his place" when I heard his final sentence I was about to cry.

"But father, you said that you can't let me be heartbroken when someone I love dies. I love you more than anything, I already lost my mother to the White Witch now you?!" I said with tears coming down my cheeks.

"I said the one you truly love and in this case that is Edmund. I'm sorry for this has to happen but that's the way the Witch wants it to be. I'll be with your mother again and I've asked Peter to take care of you."

"Peter told me that at breakfast this morning."

"I know. Before I die, promise me one thing?" he asks hoping.

"Anything Father!" I said with tears still down my eyes.

"Always remember the love that is in this necklace," He said. That's what father said when I left Narnia when I was five.

"Of course father," I said before giving him a hug. My tears got part of his mane wet.

"Climb on my back. It'll be the last time you will," I do as he says.

"Shouldn't you both be in bed?" he ask. I turn my head to see if anyone's there.

"We couldn't sleep," Lucy said walking out from behind a tree with her sister.

"Please Aslan, couldn't we come with you?" Susan ask.

"I would be glad of more company for a while. Thank you," Lucy and Susan grab hold on his mane and continue walking. "It's time. From here, I must go alone."

"But Aslan..." Susan started.

"You have to trust me. For this must be done," he told them

"Thank you, Susan, thank you, Lucy, thank you Leona and farewell," then continued walking alone.

Susan walked in a different direction and we followed. We sat behind some covered part of the forest that showed where father went. We see him walking up to the Stone Table where the White Witch had a knife. All evil Narnians where there.

"Behold. The Great Lion," That witch introduced my father. All the Narnian start laughing. A tall minotaur pushes him over with his axe. They all tease him. This is slowly breaking my heart.

"Why doesn't he fight back?" Lucy ask.

"He should be," I hoped but I knew the real reason why he's not.

"Bind him!" The witch ordered. Random Narnians grabbed some rope and tied some parts of his body up so he doesn't move. "Wait! Let him first be shaved," The Witch ordered again. They start cutting bits of his mane off. They then drag him onto the stone stairs that lead to the Stone Table. Jadis then moves one arm to tell everyone to quiet. then a beat is played and everyone makes a type of sound. All we could do is watch. "Tonight! The Deep Magic will be appeased! But tomorrow we will take Narnia forever! In that knowledge, despair..." then she lifted up the knife. when she did, my father saw us watching from afar. "And die!" and she took my father away from me.

"No!" I scream but from that scream came a roar. The Narnian thought it was my father letting out a rawr of pain but it was actually me. Fathers eyes closed and that was the last time he saw me. Tears were ready to come out of eyes. All three of us hugged each other for comfort.

"The Great Cat... Is dead!" The White Witch screamed. Every Narnian screamed of joy. The only three that wasn't happy was Susan, Lucy and I. We all look over at the Stone Table again. When the ceremony was over. Us three walked up to the Stone Table. Lucy ran up to him and say next to his face. Lucy took out her healing position.

"It's too late," Susan spoke, trying to hold herself together. "He's gone," we then moved to sit next to father. I sat behind Lucy. "He must have known what he was doing," Susan guessed. Lucy then laid down next to his stoking his face. Susan and I laid down onto his body and started crying. Then small mice came along and start biting the ropes. "Get away! Get away all of you!"

"No look," Lucy said. they were cutting the ropes. We did the same thing.

"We have to tell the others," Susan insisted.

"We can't just leave him!"

"Lucy, there's no time. They need to know!'

Then Lucy remembered, "the trees." Lucy turned to me," how do you get the trees to send messages?"

"Listen there is a special song you have to sing," I really don't care about how I sing, I care more about how I roar. "Come Sakura come, I have some news for you to share. Come Sakura come."

"Yes, Your Majesty," She said then bowed.

"Tell Peter and Edmund Pevensie, The Sons of Adam, that Aslan was killed on the Stone Table by the White Witch," I gave the information. she nodded and left. We all fell asleep on him.

-Sometime Later-

I woke up but Susan and Lucy were still asleep. Sakura came back with some news I guess.

"Your Majesty, Peter, and Edmund are getting ready for war. Would you like to see them?" she asks me. I nod my head.

"Take care of Susan and Lucy til I return," I ordered. I then ran back to camp and tried to find Edmund. I finally found him getting his armor on.

"Edmund! I need to talk to you. Come walk with me?" I ask him. He nodded and stood beside me. We walked on the outside of camp.

"I heard that your father is no longer with you. I'm sorry for your lost Leo," He said trying to be nice.

"Thank you for hospitality,"

"Where are my sisters?" he asks worriedly.

"They're at the Stone Table with my no longer breath father. When will you be going to war?"

"In about a couple of minutes. I hope the prophecy comes true," then I stop walking. I can't hold my feelings in anymore. I have to do this.

"Edmund... I have something for you. You could say that it's for good luck." I stumble

"What is it?" he asks, walking back to me.

"What I'm going to give you right now is something very important. You can't pass it on to someone else, it's very special," I tell him. He just nods.

"Hold still" I first put my hands on the sides of his face gently then just go for it. I softly but quickly place my lips on his. He his shocked by this but kisses me back. After 6 seconds I let go. His face is in shock. "I've lost my mother when I was 3, I lost my father last night now I don't want to lose you," I said then hugged him. He's only a few centimeters taller than me. I let go. "Goodbye Edmund, Son of Adam," I said then ran back to Stone Table where Sakura was still looking after the sleeping sisters. "Thank you Sakura," I said then she left. I returned back to my original spot and go back to sleep.
