-Previously on Half Human... Half Lion-
"What have you done?!" Susan asks scared, "Lucy?! Lucy?!"
"Has anyone seen my coat?" A little voice says from behind us. We all turn around to find Lucy walking towards us. Thank god!
"Don't worry dear, your brother's got you well looked after, " Mr. Beaver reminded her.
"And I don't think you'll be needing those coats anymore," Mrs. Beaver told us. We all look in her direction and see beautiful trees blooming. We all walk forward. We leave our coats somewhere in a branch and continue to my Fathers camp.
-And now on Half Human... Half Lion-
Leona's POV,
As we entered the camp I heard a trumpet sound. I looked up and saw a centaur blowing into a horn. We continued to walk through the camp and on the walk, we got looks from fauns to centaurs. They were the good looks you would like to see on people's faces. They were smiles and happy looks.
"Why are they all staring at us?" Susan asks through her smile.
"Maybe they think you look funny," Lucy answered. We then reached a tent that had a centaur next to it. Peter pulled out his sword.
"We have come to see Aslan, " He said. then everyone behind us kneels or bowed. Then came what I was expecting to see. The Great Lion himself, Aslan, My Father. I couldn't help it but smile. We all then kneeled in front of my father.
"Welcome, Peter, Son of Adam. Welcome Susan and Lucy, Daughters of Eve. Welcome, Leona, My Daughter and welcome to you Beavers. You have my thanks but where is the fourth?" My father welcomed us.
"That's why we're here sir. We need your help," Peter said with we standing back on our feet.
"We had a little trouble along the way," Susan added.
"Our brother's been captured by The White Witch," Peter finished.
"Captured? How could this happened?" Father questioned.
"He betrayed them, Your Majesty," Mr. Beaver answered.
"Then he has betrayed us all!"
"Peace Oreius. I'm sure there's an explanation."
"It's my fault, really. I was too hard on him," Peter confessed.
"We all were," Susan confessed too.
"Sir, He's our brother!" Lucy begged
"And a friend of mine Father," I added.
"I know, dear one but that only makes the betrayal all the worse. This may be harder than you think," Father explained.
"Please father, help them" I begged.
"Of course I will," he answered, I couldn't help but smiled. Everyone went back to work and I ran towards my father and gave a huge. He gave a little chuckle and smiled. This felt right.
"I've seen you all have met my daughter Leona," he said with me stand next to him. They all shake their heads as a yes. "I am more than thankful for you all to return my little lioness, you are forever in my debt. Oreius, take them to the tents they will be staying in. Girls in one tent, boys in the other tent. There will be new cloths for you on the beds," he ordered. Oreius bowed and did what he was requested to do. "My dear one. You have grown up so fast and I see you already have your weapons from St. Nicolas. Your mother would be very proud."
"Thank you father," I smiled, giving him another hug.
"Go change and I'll talk to you about something important," He said. I nodded and caught up with the others. Once I was in the tent with Susan and Lucy. Lucy ran over to her dress and she was amazed but it looked a little too big on her.
"Lucy, I think that dress is for Leo," Susan guessed. Lucy looked at it then realized that the one next to it was hers. She was just happy to get a new dress.
"Are you sure?" I asked her.
"It's too small for me and too big on Lucy so it's yours," she explained. I walk over and have a look at it.
We all change into our dresses and we looked amazing. I put my boots on and finally my necklace that protects me. I strap on my dagger covered belt and my messenger bag that had my spell book.
"How come you don't put your hair up in any special way?" Lucy asked before I left the tent. They were doing each other's hair to match Narnia.
"I look at my hair like a lions mane, I let it flow," I said then exited the tent. I found Peter waiting for his sisters.
"Hey, Peter!"
"Hey, Le- Woah!" Peter said looking shocked
"I know. It's a little too much, isn't it?"
"No. It, not that, it's just that I never thought I see you look like this," Peter explained.
"Well, since I'm the Daughter of Aslan, I have to look presentable," then I walked off trying my find my father. I find him and caught up with him. "Hello, father!"
"Hello, Leona. I knew you would look good in that dress. It was your mothers favorite," he said. "Come, walk with me, dear," we walked and talked and I was getting to know my father again. He then brought up something I was not ready for. "Dear Leona, how would you feel about being Queen of Narnia with the rest of The Pevensies?"
I was speechless when I heard him ask this question. not good speechless, bad speechless, "Father, it's a nice offer, really but me being at Cair Paravel with the others. I'll feel out of place. There are only Four stone thrones at Cair Paravel, not five. If I'm queen I might be a very bad one, I don't know how to rule a whole world and I'm also not ready to be queen!" I explain my thoughts.
"Dear, I know deep down inside you are ready, it's in your blood, but if you need more time, then I won't rush you," he knew me better than I knew myself. "When you are ready, just say the words and you'll be queen."
"Thank you father," I say with relieve. We both walk together and still talk and I find Peter standing alone and staring out at something. We both walk up to him.
"That is Cair Paravel, the castle of the four thrones. In one of which you will sit, Peter, as High King," Askan started the conversation.
"You will have your own throne and everyone will look up to you as High King Peter," I added on.
Peter stared at his sword, gripping it tighter, "you doubt the prophecy?" Father ask.
"No, that's just it," Peter said with a little sadness, "I'm not what you all think I am!"
"Peter Pevensie, formerly of Finchley," Father already knew enough of Peter, "Beaver also mentioned that you planned on turning him into a hat!"
"He was just cranky that Mr. Beaver was rushing him to cross a river to get here" I explained.
"Peter, there is a deep magic more powerful than any of us that rules over all of Narnia. It defines right from wrong and governs all our destinies. Yours... and mine."
"But I couldn't even protect my own family!"
"You've brought them safely this far," Father reminded him.
"Not all of them!"
"Peter, I will do what I can to help your brother but I need you to consider what I ask of you. I too want my family safe. You have returned my daughter safely back to Narnia and with me again. I thank you for what you have to keep her safe," Father thank him.
"I thank you as well, Peter. Even though I'm not you sister you treated me like I'm family same with your sisters, I wasn't their sibling but they treated me like I was," I thanked him as well.
"I just hope your brother will do the same thing,"
"Oh yeah, just wait until Edmund sees you in that dress, " Peter said happily. Right, when I heard Edmunds name, my heart started beating faster then it should be.
"Why are you blushing Leo?" Peter asked. what?
"I'm not blushing? Ma-mah-My face turns bright red when at random times and I can't control it!" I lied. I'm totally blushing but why?
"Ah, I know why your blushing Dear, the same thing happened to your mother when ever someone mentioned my name to her, she would blush. That is a sign, my dear," Father explained.
"That... I'm a lot like my mother?" I take a random guess.
"No, my dear it is a sign that you are in love with Edmund," I'm speechless again, in a bad way again!
"But how is that?! I'm fine when I talk to him and everything like a friend but when it comes to my feelings-" I get cut off by the sound of a horn.
"Susan!" Peter yelled then ran off. I got onto my father's back and followed him with some help. At the scene, Peter had his sword out and his sisters were in a tree. I climb off father ready to attack.
"No! Stay your weapons!" father commanded, "this is Peter's battle."
"You may think you're a king but your gonna die... like a dog!" and Muagrim attacked him but ended up jumping into the sword and not Peter die, making himself die. Susan and Lucy jumped out of the tree and pushed Muagrim off Peter to see if he was ok. He was and they gave him a hug.
"After him! He'll lead you to Edmund," He commanded Oreius.
"I'll go to," I said then jumped onto Oreius back and off we went.
We follow him to a camp site that was dark and creepy. we ran through the camp trying to find Ed then I see him tied to a tree with a dwarf guarding him. I jumped off Oreius and cast a spell into the dwarf to make him sleep. When I first saw his again I said the same thing when I saved him front getting hit by the Witches sleigh.
"Next time look where you're going Ed," I said the same way I said to him the first time. I then get my claw out and cut the ropes and untied his mouth. I replaced Edmund with the sleeping dwarf, stabbing his dagger into his hat. He finally woke up when I slapped him then got back on Oreius. Edmund automatically came in after me and we returned to Aslan's camp.
"Get some sleep. Father would like to talk to you tomorrow morning," I said getting off Oreius.
"Oreius, please show Edmund to his tent," I ask. He nodded and lead the way.
"Leo!" I heard Edmund call from behind me. I just turned my head.
"Thanks," he said with a gentle smile. I just nod my head and return to my tent. I need a goods night sleep. I slowly drift away into a nice slumber...
