-=+=- Chapter 4: OH NO! THE MACREADY!!! -=+=-

Leona's outfit for the chapter

Edmund's POV, 

Ever since I met Leo I have been looking at her more than friends. I think it's love at first sight, when I first saw her sitting next to Mrs. Macready on the transport I straight away fancied her. I even ignored her when she asked for my name on purpose. I wanted to get her attention. Now that I met the real her in Narnia, I fancy her even MORE. I wish I know how she feels. All five of us are outside, Susan, Peter and I are playing cricket while Lucy and "Lilly" are sitting under a tree reading a book. I don't even want to talk about what happened this morning. I'm looking at the room where the wardrobe is, thinking about being King. I just need to do something to bring them into the wardrobe. I secretly want to see Leo's true self again. I'm still thinking until something hits my thigh. It's the stupid cricket ball Peter threw.

"Haha, whoops. Wake up dolly daydream," Peter laughed at me.

"Why can't we play Hide n' Seek again?" I ask.

"I thought you said that it was a children's game?" I hear Leo screaming from the tree she was sitting under. I wonder how she heard that all the way from there?

"Besides, we could use the fresh air," Susan said looking at the bright side.

"It's not like there's any air inside," I mumbled.

"Are you ready?" Peter ask.

"Are you?" I responded.

Susan, Peter and I take our places. Peter runs up and throws the ball. I hit the ball but hits through one of the windows in the mansion. It causes everybody's attention.

"ED, WHAT DID YOU DO!?!?" Leo screams standing up.

All five of us start heading to the room where the ball hit. We reach it and find it lying on the ground... Next to some broken armer stand that was laying on the ground as well.

"Well done Ed!" Peter sarcasm.

"You balled it!" I screamed back.

"What on earth is going on up there?" Mrs. Macready yelled from another room under us.

"Oh no. The Macready!" Leo said in fear.

"C'mon!" Peter screamed.

Leona's POV,

We all started running trying to find a hiding spot. Every time we find a spot to hide, Mrs. Macready was right behind the door. Ed gets to the front of the group and leads us to a room I knew very very VERY well. We all run in and Edmund opens the door of the wardrobe.

"C'mon!" He encourages.

"You've got to be joking!" Susan said looking at the wardrobe.

"I'm defiantly not going in there," I said looking at him with an angry look. Now I know why he wants us to get in there. We then here the Macready footsteps.

"Well, you are 'Lilly'!" He says then grabs my hand and pulls me into the wardrobe.

When he did, I already feel my lions parts growing back. Oh no! I run through the coats onto the snow. I start to hear footsteps and the voices of the Pevensies. I quickly react and hide behind a nearby tree. I look through a little gap. The children look all around in amazement.

"Impossible," Susan spoke up.

"Don't worry. I'm sure it's just your imagination," Lucy mimicked. I laughed a little.

"I-I Don't suppose we are sorry, would quite cover it," Peter said hoping.

"No it wouldn't-" then Lucy threw a snowball at Peter's face. "But that might!"

All of a sudden, there began a snowball fight but Edmund didn't join in. I decided to tap him on the shoulder with my tail just for fun. I totally didn't do it just to get his attention. What? Then Susan threw a snowball at Edmund hard on the shoulder.

"OW! Stop it!" Ed said in his cute accent. Oh, I love that accent.

"You little liar," Peter said to Edmund.

"You didn't believe her either," Edmund said. It's actually true!

"Apologies to Lucy," Peter said to Edmund, he ignored Peter at first. That's really rude of him. Peter said looking like he was about to beat him up, "say you're sorry!" 

"Alright, I'm sorry!" Edmund said. 

"That's alright, some little children just don't know when to stop pretending" Lucy mimicked again. I started laughing but not loud.

"Maybe we should go back, " Susan spoke up.

"Shouldn't we at least take a look around?" Edmund suggested, does he know I'm hiding?

"I think Lucy should decide," Peter said looking at Lucy.

Right away, Lucy smiles with joy, "I would like you all to meet Mr. Tumnus and Leo," Lucy smiled.

"Well, Mr. Tumnus and Leo it is!" Peter said walking back to the wardrobe. Ok does Lucy know that I'm hiding?

"But Peter it's freezing! How are we supposed to walk around in the snow dressed like this?" Susan asked.

"No. But I am sure the professor wouldn't mind us using these. Anyways if you think about it logically, we aren't taking them out of the wardrobe," Peter explained. Lucy starts looking around the area. Probably looking for me."Who are we looking for Lu?" Peter asked.

"Lilly, she's not here," she says continuing to look. "Yeah, Edmund you pushed Lilly into the wardrobe right?" Susan asked.

"I did!" He says.

I have to do this

"I'm hiding, I'll come out if you promise me something" I speak out loud.

"Anything" Lucy said still looking.

"Susan and Peter, promise me to not run away or scream when I come out. Lucy and Edmund already know this its just you two that need to know. Promise?" I respond.

"Promise," Peter replies.

"I promise," Susan responds.

I breathe in and breath out. Time to shine, "ok I'm coming out now." I take one step out behind the tree then slowly walk towards the group with my face down. I look up to see Susan and Peter's in surprise.

"This is Leo?" Susan asks pointing to me.

Lucy nods with a big smile. Peter moves a bit forward. "You're right Lu, she looks perfectly and exactly like Lilly. Do you know who Lilly is Leo?" Hearing him say my real name make me feel relived that they know me. Ok kind of. I have to explain over and over and over again.

"Do I need to explain? I'm wearing what 'Lilly' was wearing today!" I say looking him and Susan.

Peter walks back to his original spot. "Lilly?"

"Yes it's me. When I'm on earth, I look like a regular girl but when I'm in Narnia I'm my true self. Susan when you first entered the mansion and Mrs. Macready was explaining the rule, you were about to touch a stature but Mrs. Macready stoped you by saying that one of the rules was no touching any figure that was found by the professor," I explain to the eldest of the children.

"Yes that right, you really are Lilly! But why?" Susan asks in shock.

"Because Lilly is just a cover up. If I told you that Narnia is real and the real me, I would get the same reactions you gave to Lucy when she told you about Narnia at first," I explained.

"Well we all believe you all. Right guys?" Lucy said walking towards me.

Everyone nods their heads at me. I finally get to stop acting like someone I'm not, it's such a relief, and it's with people I trust. Peter grabs a coat from the wardrobe and hands it to me. It was a regular brown winter coat that reached down to the ankles. When I saw what Edmund was wearing, I couldn't control my laughter but I was able to hold it in.
