~Chapter Nine~

~NATSU POV~

I watched Luce bolt out the infirmry window. She held her left cheek and ran out the guild ignoring everyone. I ran after her, shouting her name till my throat became sore. I know that the others were searching for her too. But at the end of the day, we all came empty.

I now sat at a table in the guild hall hold my head in my hands. I could bearly hear anything even with my enhanced hearing. But the guild was quiet. It was so quiet you could hear everyone breathing. Master was in his room, trying to find a way to find Luce. I decided it was late and went home, hoping Luce was there. 

As I was walking down the streets of Magnolia, I picked up a scent. The scent of strawberry and vanilla. 

The sent of Luce.

My Luce.

I quickened my pace, using Luce's scent as my guide. 

I found myself in the opening of a dark alley. I looked down and saw a ribbon. It was the ribbion Luce used to pull her hair up. I turned it around and saw four words. 

I love you Natsu

I bolted back to the guild. This can't be possible. I won't let this happen. This isn't possible!  

Oh Luce. Where are you?

"Guys! Luce isn't in Magnolia!"

Don't worry Luce.
