Chapter 9, A happy marriage

Bells toll. "Luffy, you look sick!" Ace said "He looks sharp!" Sabo said. Meanwhile... "Oooo, Nami, you look absolutely fabulous!" Nojiko said. "Thanks!" Nami replied thankfully. "Can you guys help me practice my lines so that I don't forget?" Luffy asked Sabo and Ace. "Sure!" They both said immediately. Luffy put on his tux while he was practicing his lines. "Nojiko?" Nami said. "Yes Nami?" Nojiko replied. "D-Do you think Luffy will think I look nice?" Nami said whilst blushing. "Of course he will! You already look good and in this dress," Nojiko whistles teasingly. "Wow, in 30 minutes I'm gonna be married?" Nami said suprised. "Yep, 30 minutes!" Nojiko replied. "I can't wait to see how Nami looks!" Luffy said excitedly. "She's probably absolutely stunning." Sabo said. "HEY YOU PERV!" Ace said. "Woah, it's all good, I don't think my girlfriend would be happy about that!" Sabo chuckled and Luffy chuckled as well. "I can't believe my younger brother grew up so fast!" Sabo and Ace said together while teasing Luffy. Sabo checks his watch. "Luffy, it's time for you to go out and wait for your brideeee!" Sabo teased. "It is?" Luffy said while shaking. "Hey now, you can't be nervous, it's your wedding! Don't be scared, be happy!" Ace said. "Ok!" Luffy said with his usual big, joyful grin on his face. Luffy came out and all he had to do is keep it together until his bride is out. "Nami, it's time." Nojiko said calmly. "O-Ok!" Nami said while blushing a bit. Bells toll, Nami starts to walk out. In Luffy's head. Holy crap she looks smoking! Luffy stop it! Arghh! In Nami's mind. Oh crap, this is real. He looks handsome, don't panic Nami, don't panic... Once Nami is where Luffy is, the priest starts. "Monkey .D. Luffy, do you take this woman, in love and sickness you shall care for her, to be your everlasting wife?" Nami had a shiver up her spine. "I do!" Luffy said. "And you, Nami, take this man through love and sickness you shall care for him, to be you everlasting husband?" Luffy looked at Nami with a small grin. "I-I do!" Nami said. "And does anyone have any issues with this couple being married? Speak now or forever hold your peace." The priest said. The room was silent, even Sanji was understanding. "You may now kiss the bride." The priest announced. Luffy looked at Nami and Nami immediately nodded to assure him he could kiss her. Luffy leaned in to kiss her and they kissed for around 15 to 20 seconds. Everyone cheered and there was indeed a celebration party. It lasted until around 1 am. The only people left were Zoro, Chopper, Sanji, Robin, Vivi, Nojiko, Ace, Sabo, and Koala. At 1:30 am Zoro made a toast. "A toast, to the newly wed!" Zoro said while drunk. Luffy looked at Nami, who was practically half-a-sleep. Luffy mouthed that he's gonna go let her sleep somewhere else and he would come back after. Luffy walks off carrying Nami to a private room. "There you go, sweet dreams." Luffy said quietly while putting Nami down and tucking her in. As Luffy came back they were all just staring at Luffy. "What?" Luffy asked. "We aren't staring at you, we're staring at what's happening behind you." Everyone said. Luffy turned around to see Sabo proposing to Koala. "Will you marry me?" Sabo asked. "I have to think about that one." Koala said. Everyone gasped. "Oki, I've made up my mind. YES!!" Koala jumps on Sabo and they start kissing. "Guys, rated tv-14-" Luffy teased with everyone else. 2 am. "Well, I think It's time to go home now." Mostly everyone said. "Yeah I'm tired." Someone said. Everyone went home. It was just Luffy and Nami. Luffy came into Nami's room to turn off her light but suddenly Nami said "Luffy?" Luffy looked at her. "Yeah?" Luffy replied. "If we're married, y'know we can share the same bed, right?" Luffy blushed a bit as blood rushed to his cheeks. Nami di blush as well but not as much as Luffy did. Luffy looked at Nami asking if it was really ok before tucking into bed with her. Nami snuggled into Luffy's chest to feel the warmth. Luffy felt like his heart was about to burst. He knew that love wasn't meant to hurt but it did for him. "Hey Nami?" Luffy said quietly. "Yeah?" Nami replied. "I love you." Luffy said. "I love you too." Nami replied back. Luffy thought about all those memories he had growing up and all those sweet memories with Nami. Remembering the time when he just grew taller than Nami, he was so happy! They used to be the same height but now he's about an inch taller than her. He's 5'9 and she's 5'8. He recalled when he had his first kiss with her. Oh man so many things had happened since those times. He'd never been in love before but now it's different. He'll have all he could ever dream of. Nami, she was sleeping. She too was also recalling memories of him and her together and the first time she actually made a friend. She used to be guarded and didn't really have any friends before he and his friends changed her life forever. Luffy, was the first true friend she had ever had. She didn't ever want to lose Luffy. Yes, she does still want to achieve her dreams, but she also wants to be called a mother. Now, all she needs to do is ask Luffy if he's ok with that. The next day... Luffy wakes up to see Nami sleeping. Man, is she cute when she's sleeping or is it just me? Nami wakes up to see Luffy smiling at her. "Do you want breakfast?" Luffy asked. "Yes please." Nami replied. "Coffee or no coffee?" Luffy asked. "Coffee please." Nami replied. Luffy stood up and kissed her on the forehead before opening their door to make breakfast. Nami thought. He's such an idiot sometimes but at the same time he can be so polite. Luffy finished making breakfast. "All done!" Luffy said. "Ok, coming!" Nami replied as she stood up. "Luffy, there's something I've been meaning to tell you." Nami said seriously. "Yeah?" Luffy asked. (Please be mature about this part and if you can't be just stop and leave.) "Can we, maybe um.." Nami blushed madly. "Can we start a, um... Family?"
