Kai and i had just arrived to mystic falls i never been but this is where he needed to come so i could help him with a problem which he never told me what it was it bugged me the entire drive here.

"okay this is where we're staying" he opened the door to an apartment

"okay..." i said slowly walking in

"what's wrong? do you still not trust me"

"no that's not it i trust that you're gonna help i trust that you're not going to kill me hopefully but what do you need my help with you are a witch right?"

"first not going to kill you second i am, but uhm do you know what a siphon witch is"

"yeah they can only use magic when they drawl it from other magic like werewolves and other witches"

"and vampires"

"vampires are really?"

"yes they are"

"ok cool but why dose any of this matter?"

"you haven't put it together yet i'm a siphon witch i need to be able to siphon you whenever i can"

"oh uh not sure how sure how to feel about being a magic tool"

"don't take it that way take it as... yeah never mind got nothing"

"well should i go to school and what day is it?"

"why would you want to go to school and october 3"

"october 3? i missed my eighteenth birthday" i frowned

"that sucks i never had mine celebrated i had a birthday but i had to share it with my twin who to be honest it the onlyreason i had a birthday"

"i'm sorry that uhm that's terrible you seem really great" i smiled

"you don't know me"

"i don't have to know you to know i don't completely hate you"

he laughed "if you knew my whole story you wouldn't feel that way"

"then tell me i have nothing better to do"

"well i do stay here i'll be back"

"where are you going?"

"you wanted to go to school right?"

"yeah... wait are you going to get me in school here!!"

"well college that's where the salvatores are and you should probably keep an eye out for them"

"i'm still in high school kai i can't just enroll in a college"

"don't worry about it i got this" he smiles and leaves

"okay" i sat down on the couch

it was a light grey color, i was confused on how he even had this place and why he chose me to help him, i really wanted my phone so i could stalk my friends in a good way i ended up falling asleep.

Kai shook me awake i slowly opened my eyes he had a smile on his face it was cute.

"what?" i sat up

"my sisters getting married" he sat beside me

"and?"

"and this is my chance to never mind get close to the salvatore brothers stefan to be exact he will trust you get his phone find out when the wedding is for me"

"how do i do that"

"he will be at the college tomorrow for caroline forbes find a way to talk to him, and before you ask yes you are going to college i'll take you but no one can see me so yeah"

"fine i'm going back to sleep"

"alright"

i leaned on him and fell asleep he seemed confused like he had never had anyone care for him.

"sarah get up time to go" kai woke me up

"i'm up" i jumped up

"yeah we should probably get you some new clothes"

"i don't have money"

"it's fine theirs clothes here in the bedroom hurry up"

i got up and got changed and walked to the other room where kai was sitting on the couch.

"how do i look?" i asked with a smile

"wow... uhm really good actually"

"thanks let's go"

"wait one more thing" he pulled out a neck less and moved my hair putting it on me "it's vervain keeps you from being compelled"

"cool ready?"

"yep let go"

we went to the college he stopped and grabbed my hand.

"okay this is as far as i can go if you find anything let me know" he left

"hey" someone said from behind me causing me to jump

"oh my god you scared me uhm hi" i smiled

"are you knew?" she asked

"yeah i just moved here i'm sarah nice to meet you"

"well welcome to mystic falls i'm caroline" she wrapped her arm around mine

"caroline? hum is everyone here this nice"

"who's to say people are lame"

"okay then why are you talking to me?"

"you seem cool where you headed"

"don't know"

"come with me we can hang out"

"uhm sure sounds fun"

we walked to her dorm and she went to her mini fridge and grabbed some alcohol and shook the bottle.

"uhm i don't really drink" i said awkwardly

"come on loosen up"

"uh no i'm good i should go" i went to walk away but she grabbed me

"what's your problem" i tried jerking away but her grip tightened

her face began to change and her veins showed under her eyes.

"come on sarah don't be so rude i'm hungry" she bit into my neck causing me to scream

someone walked in and pushed her off me i fell on the ground he helped me to my feet.

"are you alright?" he asked

"yeah, yeah what the hell just happened" i shouted then held my neck

caroline got up "really stefan always ruining my fun"

"what happened caroline i thought you turned your humanity back on"

"i did i just really hungry"

"blood bags care!!" he shouted

"what the hells going on" i jumped in

"it's ok you're going to be fine" he bites into his wrist and puts it to me

"uhm no thanks i'm good"

"just drink" he fed me his blood

"that was gross"

"sorry about that i've been feeling weird lately" caroline smiled

"i'm going to go" i went to walk out but stefan stopped me

"once you walk out that door you won't remember a thing that happened since you came here you're going to go to your classes and move on with you're day got it"

after he said that and caroline bit me i knew they were vampire and were trying to compel me so i went along with it.

"got it" i walked out

i went on with my day hoping to see stefan again without him knowing that i was pretending to be compelled i was walking out side when someone grabbed me i went to scream but he covered my mouth.

"calm down it's me" kai uncovered my mouth still holding onto me

"kai! what the hell you scared me"

"did you get the phone?"

"wait did you know caroline was going to attack me?"

"i kinda put a spell on her" he admitted

"so you made her attack me?" i pushed him off me

"i'm sorry i didn't have another way but it looks like someone healed you" he touched my neck

"yeah stefan, and no i didn't get the phone"

"why not"

"i couldn't he compelled me i had to get out of there before he knew something g was up but he should be back right?"

"i'm not sure DAMN IT" he shouted

i grabbed his hand "hey clam down it's okay we'll get it ok"

"yeah fine" he said still upset

i hugged him and he just stood there.

"it's fine i'm not going to bite" i joked

he pulled away "i don't hug"

"jeez fine"

"it's not you i just never been hugged before"

"oh sorry"

"you apologize a lot you know"

"i was the problem child my mom sent me to boarding school it got really bad after my dad left learned to apologize all the time"

"i feel you, on being the problem the defective twin"

"not a twin but yeah defective is right i've always felt like my friends and family like my brother more the only person who never made me feel that way was isaac"

"your boyfriend?"

"oh no we kissed twice but no i've known him since i was 5"

"oh well i never had anyone and when i turned twenty two my dad sent me to a prison world all alone"

"if we're sharing are life story might as well tell me the entire story"

"you'd run away once people know what i did they leave"

"i'm not going anywhere"

"you say that now"

"just tell me can't be worse than what my brother did to me and i still care about him"

"not here today was a bust let's go we'll get some food at the mystic grill"

"okay" i smiled

me and kai ate and he told me what happened.

"that's uhm a lot to process" i leaned back in my chair

"you want to leave huh?"

"uhm no i guess if i had it as bad as you i would've done the same thing i mean being isolated it sounds terrible"

"you must be a psychopath to"

"what no"

"hey i'd never judge a girl for being a psychopath can't be to picky, well and because i'm one to"

"one i am not a psychopath two i don't see you as a psychopath"

"really? what do you see me as"

"as someone who is broken who needs love a friend"

he seemed shocked he saw someone and hid

"what are you doing?" i said confused

"damon's here go talk to him he's alaric's best friend if anyone knows when the wedding is it's him"

"what... uhm okay" he put something in my hand "what's this?"

"fake i.d get some drinks talk to him he'll eventually talk about something and figure out a way to bring up the wedding without well you know go"

"alright" i got up and walked to the chair beside damon

"hey can i get a beer" i asked the bartender

"sure thing i.d" the guy with blue eyes asked

"yeah here" i handed him the fake i.d kai gave me

"okay coming right up"

"thanks" i said and damon looked at me

"you seem knew" he smirked

"yeah i'm sarah"

"damon" he smiled
