History of the Vampire Warrior

RecapMarinetteBefore it all ended, I saw a short man, old but wise-looking, sturdy and wearing a Hawaiian themed shirt. He looked at me and smiled. His body was like a hologram, fading in and out.

Travel to London, and find the monastery on Highwood Hill. I'll be waiting, Vampire Warrior. I'll make sure you get there safely.

He disappeared before my eyes as I fell to the ground, the orb flying over to Lila and into her hands. She cackled at her victory. I looked over to Emilie as she laid on the floor just like me being cradled by Selina. I glanced at my hands as they disintegrated into dust. So did Emilie, followed by my friends and finally Damian. Everything went black after that.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ugh....my head... I woke up and everywhere was black. There was a bright light in the distance. And of course the stupidest thing would be to go towards the light... *sigh* I followed it, and as I got closer it got brighter and brighter. Then a flash was seen. I covered my eyes as it blinded me. I regained vision as the blur faded away. I was wearing a purple like garment with white lines decorating it.

I looked around and there, standing before me was the same old man as before. I had the sudden urge to bow...do I know him? I bowed; half kneeling with my right hand in a fist over my heart and the other hand on the ground, he chuckled. "Please rise, Vampire Warrior. Follow me." He floated off and so I tried to stay close to him. He stopped in front of a little table with three cushions, two on one side and one on the other. "Please, take a seat, Marinette."

Marinette: How do you know my name? Who are you? Where are we?

Fu: I'm Wang Fu..-

Marinette: Wait...you're the vampire warrior before..-

Fu: Well...not necessarily. There were others like you but non as strong and as powerful.

Then a small jade tea cup was place on the table in front of me. An old lady around the same age as Master Fu sat next to him, handing him a cup of tea as well.

Fu: Marinette, this is Marianne, my soulmate and a devil. She helped me on my quest as the vampire warrior.

Marinette: Hi.

Marianne: It's very nice to meet you, Marinette.

Marinette: So...where are we? Am I dead?

Fu: You are...in a sense..in between space and time in itself. But you are not dead. I summoned you here because of the current problem in society you are facing now. One of those problems being that you are not the vampire warrior anymore because you are not even a vampire.

Marinette: What...?~~~~~Outside her consciousness (with the squad)

DamianI got up from the couch when I heard a siren go off. The lights above Marinette's door were going off like crazy. Tom stuck his head out the door calling out for someone. The medics and doctors rushed in. I followed close behind. Marinette's heart beat line that showed on the electronic box was completely flat now. This can't be real... Angel...~~~~~

The place around me began to crumble and the imaginary walls fell over and broke like glass. My body began to fade in and out. Master Fu clapped his hands and the walls and crumbling stopped.

Marinette: What's going on..-

Fu: If you perish here, then so does your body in the real world. Keep your thoughts calm, Marinette. There is a way to get your vampire back and reclaim your rightful place as the vampire warrior. Do you remember what I said?

Marinette: Something about...London...? And a hill I have to go to or something...?

Marianne: That's right. You must travel to the ancient monastery at the top of Highwood Hill. There is a barrier preventing outside and unwanted forces through. You must go there to regain your vampire and your place before returning to the fight.

Marinette: But..if it's for the vampire warrior...then how would I be able to enter if I'm not even a supernatural anymore?

Fu: You may not be a supernatural, but your blood nor title define who you are. That's something for you to decide. Your actions speak louder than words and misconceptions.

Marinette: What about the b*tch? *folds arms*

Marianne: She may have your powers but she isn't the true warrior. The barrier will not let her through. I created it myself using my very last breath and life to keep it functioning.

I felt a grip on my hand but nothing was there. My body began to fade in and out. Master Fu and Marianne got up and smiled.

Fu: Seems like your time here is up. But it is your choice to make. You can either stay here and set your soul free and leave your body or you can walk through that door, and give yourself another chance...

Marinette: Will I be able to see you again or maybe contact you if I need advice...?

Fu: You will always have me, Marinette.

I looked at the door and the knob turned. The door slowly opened revealing a golden light and a voice.

Please...it..i-it can't end like this..not yet...

Dami... I looked back at them one last time. I smiled then walked through. ~~~~~~~~~~

Marinette: Dami...w-why are you...crying-g...? What's going on..? Where are we...and..*sniff* why am I-I crying..?

Damian: We thought you were...

Adrien: It's nice to see you're back with the living, bug.

Marinette: Was I dead..?

Damian: We thought you were until you just woke up.

Kagami: Mari, don't scare us like that again!

Luka: I second that..

Zoe: Marinette, you really had us scared out of our minds for the past few days.

Marinette: ...Sorry...? I really can't remember what I did or what went on for the last...'I don't know' number of days. But I just had the weirdest dream... in spite of all of this, we all need to go to London by the end of the week. There's somewhere I need to go and something I need to tell all of you.~~~~~~~~~~

PresentAdrien: *sigh* Does it have to be London? You know what I'm talking about...

Marinette: I know. I really don't want to go there but..we have no choice. Well I have to go, all of you could just stay here in Gotham. Fine by me.

Kagami: Like If wed let you go off by yourself.

Zoe: But...why, exactly?

Marinette: Well...for one thing...to get my supernatural mojo back because at the moment...I'm fully human. And since I'm not a vampire...I'm not the vampire warrior.

Luka: What do you mean you're not a vampire!?

Marinette: Exactly as I said it. That's why I need to go London to get it back.

Damian: And I'm going with you.

Marinette: Well welcome aboard Damian to the Marinette express to London. Anyone else?

Mr. Charlie: I think we should all go.

Jason: But why..-

Mr. Charlie: Because we are all fugitives of the state. We all saw on the news that if we are seen inside Gotham city we are to be killed on sight. But..the good thing about this law is that we aren't fugitives outside of Gotham. So moving is our best option.

Marinette: Wait Wait Wait...What's this about being fugitives??

Tom: A few days ago, the government..-

Damian: Aka the lying b*tch..-

Tom: Sent out a broadcast about the SPDF. All and their associates are to be killed or arrested on sight with the reward of 10,000 dollars. Mr. Luthor approved it.

Marinette: That wall looks really good to slam my hand into in a fit of the rage I'm currently in. *sigh* Then we'll have to move quickly.

Adrien: I for one was not looking forward to going back there anytime soon. I'm surprise you're so nonchalant about all this, bug.

Marinette: I don't like it either but...desperate times calls for desperate measures.

Adrien: Alright, here's the plan for us devils. Thanks to our teleporting capabilities, send everyone here home. Each of you have at least 10 minutes to pack your things then the devils will return to pick you guys up and bring you back here. Let's get moving.

Marinette: Don't forget you have a phone call to make, Mr. Agreste..

Adrien: Ugh...Fine...

Mr. Charlie: Alright gang, let's get moving.
