Chapter ThirteenMeeting you againPart 2

~Anna's Pov~

We are getting closer to the island and I could see Reborn's pacifier glow.

I wonder who I will meet again.

"My, what a wonderful place! Now this is what I call a high-class resort." said Maman.

If only you knew the truth, you wouldn't be saying that.

"The roller coaster here ranks 3rd out of 8,452 attractions so scary you'll faint, so you're guaranteed thrills."

That's a high ranking.

"This should be a fun vacation, right?..." I mumbled to myself.

"I'm too scared to ride something like that!" screamed Tsuna. In the meantime, everyone else left.

"Oh, man..."

"Why not, Tsuna? This looks like a fun place. I can understand why they're so excited."

"Yeah, I guess..."

"You guess?" I look at Tsuna and he scratches his neck avoiding my gaze.

"They used lots of dirty money to make a place where they could relax."said Reborn appearing out of nowhere.

Then I hear someone say.

"Hey, it's Reborn-san!"

"Look, look! It's also Anna-san!"

I look to see a herd of people coming our way.

"Reborn-san, Anna-san, would you be willing to hold a press conference today?"

"I'll have to decline. I'm on vacation."

Then he jumps into my arms.

"I'll have to decline too. I'm also on vacation."

"Everyone would love to hear how Reborn-san and Anna-san spend their vacation."

"Go and ask someone else. I came here to relax."

"Maybe next time." said Reborn waving at them.

"You guys are famous?"

"Pretty much."

"I thought you already knew that,  Tsuna."

"Look over there." we look up to see a Reborn ballon welcoming him here. There's also one for me.

"You guys wouldn't have been able to come here without my connections."

"That's a lie. I could bring them here too."

"I know, but you wouldn't do it since you want Maman to be safe." I only pout and let him finish his conversation with Tsuna.

After Tsuna tried to negotiate with someone from the island, Reborn brought us to the other side of the island.

"Nice of you to show up, kora!"

That voice!

We turn around to see a small baby in military clothes with a blue pacifier around his neck and a bandana on his head.

"Give me your name, kora."

"What's with this baby?"

"Ciao-su, Colonnello."

"Reborn! Kora!" then he shot at him. Reborn being Reborn, of course, dodged the bullet.

"What?! Out of nowhere?!"

"He's Colonnello, and he's the one in charge of the hidden Mafia Island."

"Uh, but you just took him out."

It will take more than that to kill him.

"I've been trained, kora."

"No way!"

"This weak bullet definitely belongs to Reborn, kora!"

"I can see from that huge rifle you've got that your tastes haven't improved, Colonnello."

"Is he a friend of yours?" asked Tsuna.

I just stood on the side thinking when I should make my entrance in this conversation.

"We've just known each other for a long time."

"We were born and raised in the same place."

"So you're childhood friends? No wonder he's so weird."

"You're weirder Tsuna, you know?"

Reborn and Tsuna turn to look at me while Colonnello pointed his rifle at me. I put my hands in the air and laughed a little.

"Is this how you treat old friends,  Colonnello?"

He drops his rifle and jumps at me. I catch him and hug him.

"Anna! I missed you, kora!"

"Haha. I missed you too Colonnello."

Colonnello turns to look at Reborn,  still staying in my arms.

"So, why are you here, Reborn?"

Reborn looked a little mad.

I wonder why?

"I'm just here as an observer. My student, Tsuna, is going to be training here."

"Huh? What training?"

"On this island, people who fail the examination and are deemed trespassers..." I continue his sentence.

"Are given one last chance."

"This other Mafialand is where you train. And the instructor who trains the people sent here is Colonnello."

"This baby was in the military?!"

"I see. So you're Vongola X, kora. With Reborn as your tutor, it's no surprise that you failed the examination. But don't worry. I'll train you good and hard so you pass the re-exam."

"I'll be watching your work,  Colonnello."

"You do that, kora."

"Hold on, don't decide everything for me."

"You don't have a choice Tsuna. You need to do this if you still want to live."

I start walking in the other direction.

"Where are you taking me, kora. I still need to train him, you know."

"You can do that after ice cream. Or perhaps-i look at him with sad eyes- you don't want to talk with me anymore..."

He looks at me for a few seconds before he sighs.

"Ice cream it is..." he looks away, trying to hide the red in his cheeks.

I cheer and begin to walk when a small weight places itself on my shoulder.

"You're going without me?"

"You're welcome to join us, Reborn."

"Shouldn't you watch over your student, kora?" asked Colonnello glaring at Reborn.

"He'll be fine on his own. Now let's get that ice cream." Reborn said, glaring at Colonnello.

They glared at each other until the ice cream cart.
