Chapter OneChildhood Part 1

~Anna's Pov~

{]5 year old[}

These guys are worse than my parents. They at least raised me until the age of 18, but my new parents just left me on the street saying that I'm old enough to take care of myself.

I'm 5 years old! How exactly am I old enough to take care of myself?!

At least I have my cards and Mugen with me.

"Mugen."

"Yes Anna?" said the red dragon.

"Can you steal some apples for us to eat?" I asked, pointing at a stand that was selling fruits.

"Hmph. Of course, I can. Wait here." and with that, he made himself invisible and went to the stand.

He took two apples and came back into the alley I'm standing right now. He handed me an apple and took a bite from his.

"Thanks." I said and took a bite too.

"Anytime Anna."

I took a seat on a crate and layed against the wall while I was eating my apple.

"Come here you little rat!"

I got off the crate I was standing on and peeked from the corner of this alley in the direction of the scream.

It was the stand owner and he was holding the wrist of a silver-haired kid. He looked my age.

I took out my cards and looked through them.

"Which one to choose...Ah! This one is good..." I raised the card and put the rest in my pockets.

"Shadow, come out!"

A black fog appears and takes the form of a wolf.

The monster I summoned is a big wolf with very black fur and golden eyes that were staring right into my own.

Its black fur was shining from the small light that managed to crawl its way into the small alley path.

"Hey, Shadow."

"Hello, my lady. What can I do for you today."

"Shadow, you see that little boy?" I said pointing towards the boy that was still struggling to escape the owner."Save him."

"Understood." with that he transforms into the black fog and went to save the little boy.

A few seconds go by and then people start to scream.

"Hihi. They've got scared by Shadow."

And just like Mugen said that Shadow appears with the silver-haired boy.

"W-wha." then he locks his gaze with mine.

I smile at him genuinely and say. "Hi, my name is Anna Sawaya. What's your name?" I extend my hand to him.

He looks confused before realizing what I was doing. He takes my hand and says.

"My name is Suguro Tanjiro. Just call me Suguro.Thanks for saving me."

"No problem."

"Oh? Who do we have here?" said a man with sunglasses.

"If it isn't Suguro!Why don't you go and bring me a coffee? I'll give you some money~" said another one fluttering his money in front of us in a mocking way.

"Why you-" I put my hand on his shoulder.

"Shadow." then he appears behind me scaring the two hitmen a little.

"Yes, my lady."

"I-it tal-"

"Kill them."

After Shadow finished them I turn around to see Suguro on his knees and head on the ground.

His bowing? Why?

"Please allow me to serve you, boss!"

Ah, now I get it. I just got myself a Hayato.

"Just call me Anna, Suguro. There is no need for boss."

This reminds me of something.

"Say Suguro." we start walking." How much you know about the mafia?" he thinks a bit before answering my question.

"...I do.A lot actually. I was from a mafia famiglia."

"Then do you know about flames?"

"Yes, I do. But how do you know boss?"

"Anna. And did you forget about Shadow?"

"Shadow?...Ah!The big black wolf right?"

I nod.

"Is that one of your abilities, boss?"

It is useless to tell him to call me by my name, isn't it?

"Yes, it is."

It's been one year since I met Suguro and in that time we became closer and he also became overprotective of me.

We became stronger, using my monsters.

Suguro managed to become a master in martial arts and we also learned how to use our flames at will.

No special bullets are involved.

Anyway, right now we are looking at a huge mansion. Why do you ask? I don't know myself. I just felt like I have to come here and take something...or someone? As I said, I don't know.

"Why exactly are we here Anna?" asked Mugen.

"Dunno. Just had a feeling I had to come here. Let's go in."

"Ok."

We are looking around the mansion while avoiding the guards.

We stopped in front of a huge door because we sensed a huge amount of storm flames coming from it.

We opened the door and made our way in silently.

We came face to face with a girl that has part white part black hair and green and purple eyes.

"W-who are you?" she said looking at us with a curious look.

"I'm Anna. These are Suguro, my right-hand, and Mugen, my partner."

"Ah! Now I remember where I saw the sign outside the mansion." said Suguro suddenly.

"You know where we are?"

"Yes, this place is owned by a small mafia famiglia named Shiraki. But I didn't think they had someone with high flames in such a small family."

"Yea. I have high flames and because of that, I'm not allowed to leave this mansion. They keep saying that I should become stronger and make this family more powerful." then she lays down and continues what she was saying.

"I want to see the world too you know. But I'm stuck here and I don't know what to do."

I'm feeling bad for her. She looks like she's about to cry and I don't like that.

"First, tell us your name."

She looked at me with confusion but answered anyway.

"My name is Shiraki Yuriko. I'm 5 years old."

"Miss Yuriko, it's time for the meeting with the elders." said a feminine voice from behind the door.

We turn towards it. It's good she didn't come in.

"I guess I need to leave. You should leave. I don't want you guys to get in trouble."

"Yuriko, would you like to be free?" she stopped and turned to face me.

She noded. I extended my hand towards her.

"Then take my hand and become my left hand." I said with a smirk.

Her eyes widen and then she looks at the other two to see if I'm kidding.

Seeing their serious faces she grabs my hand and says.

"I would love to."

"Well, let's get out of here."

The door opens and two people come in.

"Yuriko, what do you-Who are you kids?" asked the male stopping in his tracks.

I just smirk and say.

"Yuriko, Suguro come beside me." they did as I said.

"Sorry to tell you this but she joins me. It seems you'll have to find someone else to help you." and just then a couple of guards come in.

"Guards! Capture the intruders!"

"Stupid. Come out Minna!" and with that, some of my monsters came out.

The guards and the two people were frozen in fear. They couldn't move even if they wanted.

My monsters were giving off a strong aura that was sending shivers down their spine.

I think some even wet themselves.

"Woah. Your so cool boss!" I heard Yuriko saying behind me.

"This is our boss."Suguro said with pride and I think I saw dog ears and a tail appear.

"Go and destroy the whole mansion."

"Yes, my lady!" the monsters said.

"Mugen, transform and take us out of here."

"Understood." and with that, he transformed into his true form.

We got on his back and flew up in the air.

When we turned to look at the mansion, it was already burning and my monsters were starting to come back to me.

After all of them came back we flew away.

The view was breathtaking from up here.

I turned to look at them and asked.

"Will you two help me make a mafia family?"

They seem taken aback by the question before looking at me with serious faces.

"Of course we will." they said in unison.

That made me smile and they smiled back.

This life just got more dangerous. And I don't have any problem with that as long as I have this guy on my side.

{]7 years old[}

Right now we're in England. Yuriko kept nagging me to go here.

So here we are, in a restaurant outside. I was drinking coffee, Suguro was eating a slice of Tiramisu cake. As for Yuriko, well...she's tormenting the nearby people by asking a lot of things out of them.

Eh, they can deal with it.

"Whoa, what is that?"

Who's the victim this time?

I looked towards the new victim and saw a green-haired boy. I could feel very powerful lightning flames coming from him, but I'm not one to bring some innocent guy into my famiglia.

"It's a robot."

"Robot?"

"Yea. I made it myself." the boy said with a smile.

"What's your name? I'm Shiraki Yuriko." she said.

"A-ah, I'm Obi Tanyu. I'm 5 years old."

You might be confused because of the age. You see it seems that a lot of children of 5,6 and 7 years old are coming to this cafe. So for the staff, this is normal to see.

That's why we can just stay here and eat like we're not just some children.

England sure is a sophisticated place.

"Oh! Look, it's the nerd!" I looked again where Yuriko and Obi are.

3 kids are standing in front of those two, one has brown hair and the other two have blond hair.

"You found a friend how cute."

"Leave her alone James." said Obi slamming his hands on the table.

"Oh~protecting your girl eh?"

It's going to get funny.

"Yuriko doesn't look happy."

"Of course she doesn't. She already considers that guy a friend." I averted my eyes a little and spoke in a low voice."You should know what happens when she's mad."

"True."

"Let her go." said Obi in an angry tone.

"What are you going to do, nerd."

He got electrocuted.

Our eyes widen at what just happened. The spider robot that Obi made just electrocuted the boy. But that's not why we are surprised. It's the fact that Obi used lightning flames to move the robot.

He can't be innocent. Not after he used flames.

I got up, put some money on the table, and made my way towards the boy.

"Come with us Obi. We have to talk."

He did as I said and now we're in an alley.

"How do you know about flames."

His eyes widen before narrowing and said.

"You're also from the mafia? Aren't you just kids?"

Is this guy for real now?

"Yes, we are, and aren't you a kid too?"

"True."

"How long have you been in the mafia?"

"Since last year..." he said looking down at his feet.

"You're being forced, aren't you?" stated Suguro.

"Yes, I am." he said in a sad voice."It's late, I should go. They come to get me around this time."

Before he could run off I grab his wrist.

"I want to say something to you." he wanted to slap my hand away but stopped doing so because of my next words."Join my family, and you'll be free from these guys."

"Your family? They can't do anything! The only ones that can save me are the Vongola Family or the new-" his eyes widen in realization.

"You must be kidding." he said in a low tone.

"Nope. I should introduce myself, shouldn't I?" I let go of his hand and said.

"My name is Anna Sawaya, boss of the now number 2 company and mafia family. The Astral Famiglia."

He was speechless.

It was fun watching him freak out.

"There he is!" we turn our heads to see a man in a suit.

"Come, let's go brat. The boss needs you."

"He isn't going anywhere." before he got the chance to ask, Yuriko takes her sword out and cuts the man's head.

Poor guy, he didn't get to ask his question.

"Did you had to do that, Yuriko?"

"He was annoying. And besides, you would have told me to kill him later."

"True, but you-"I got interrupted by Obi.

"You asked if I'm going to join you, right?" I turn to face him.

"Yes." he smiles and says.

"It would be my pleasure to join you, boss."

*sigh*"All of you sure love to call me that instead of my name."

And with that, we took in the direction of the hotel.

As for the company and famiglia, we managed to make it in a year and now I'm the boss of a lot of people. And all of them know the fact that I and my guardians are children but it seemed that they didn't care about that.

I don't know how I did it either, but hey, I'm filthy rich now. Also, I'm traveling around the world in hopes of finding the rest of the guardians.
