Zemo

06:22, 24 July 2021

You, Bucky, and Sam are walking down the corridors of jail in Berlin, Germany.

Officer: He's just through that corridor.

Bucky:  Yeah, just give us a sec. She and I are going to go in.

Sam: Why you and her?

Bucky: Because you're an Avenger and you know how he feels about that, plus Y/n wants to tell Zemo something.

Sam: It's not like you 3 were known for frolickin' in the sun together.

You: He was obsessed with HYDRA. We have a history. Trust me. We got this.

You and Bucky walk down the corridor to where the officer was. Then you walk through a door where the officer pulled out a phone and spoke in German. The door opened, you and Bucky walked through the door to Zemo's cell. Bucky walked up to the glass first while you followed behind. (Guys I'm not even going to try!)

Zemo: Longing, Rusted, Seventeen (In Russian)

Bucky: Those days are over.

Zemo: I know. I just wanted to see how the old words, react to the new you. Something is still in there. At least you were not conscious of most of your imprisonment.

Bucky: That time wasn't exactly a picnic.

You: But I was.

Zemo: For what it's worth, I'm sorry. It was never personal. You were simply a means to a necessary end.

You: Someone re-created the super-soldier serum. We need to find out who.

Zemo: You're assuming HYDRA has something to do with this, which is why you came to me, which means you are desperate. Luckily for you, I know where to begin.

You are standing outside the place where Sam and Bucky are. You're waiting for Zemo to break out of jail and come to the warehouse. Zemo finally comes and you just walk behind him, inside. When you 2 get inside Zemo stops and you walk past him over to Sam and Bucky

Sam: Woah, Woah, Woah.

Bucky: No, listen.

Sam: What are you doin' here

Bucky: I didn't want to tell you 'cause I knew you wouldn't let this happen.

Sam: What did you do?

You: We need him, Sam.

Sam: You're going back to prison!

Zemo: If I may.

Sam, Bucky, and you: No!

Zemo: Apologies.

Bucky: When Steve refused to sign the Sokovia Accords, you backed him. You broke the law and stuck your neck out for us. I'm asking you to do that again.

Zemo: I really think I'm invaluable...

You: Shut up.

Sam: Okay. If we do this, you don't make a move without our permission.

Zemo: Fair.

Sam: Okay, Zemo, where do we start?

-In Zemo' Hideout-

Sam: So our first move is grand theft auto.

Zemo: These are mine. Collected by the family over the get generations. I spent years hunting people that HYDRA recut to recreate the serum. Because once the serum is out there, someone can create an army of people... Like the Avengers. I ended the Winter Soldier program once before. I have no intentions of leaving my work unfinished. To do this, we'll have to scale a ladder of lowlifes.

Sam: Well, join the party, we've already started.

Zemo: First stop is a woman named Selby. The mid-level fence I still have a line on. From there, we climb.

-The Airport-

Sam so all this time you've been rich?

Zemo: I'm a Baron, Sam. My family was royalty before your friends destroyed my country. (In Russian: Hello, Oeznik.

(In Russian)Oeznik: Welcome, Gentlemen, ma'am.

Zemo: Old friend.

(In English)Zemo: Please.

(In Russian)You: Hi, um, thank you.

You follow Sam, Bucky, and Zemo onto the plane. You sit on the seat across from Zemo and are too focused on trying to get the necklace locket to move.

Oezkin: Apologies if that is a little warm, the fridge is out. But I will see if there is some good food in the galley.

(In Sokovian)Zemo: If it doesn't pass the smell test... give it to them.

(In English)Oezkin: It's good to have you back, sir.

Zemo: You don't know what it's like to be locked in a cell. Oh, that's right. You do.

Sam: Why don't you tell us about where we're going?

Zemo: I'm sorry I was just fascinated by this. I don't know what to call it, but this part seems to be important. Who is Nakajima?

Your attention goes straight to Zemo, while Bucky stands up and loosely has his hand on Zemo's throat. You start to tilt your head to the side, knowing if he kept going, you would slice his head off.

Bucky: If you touch that again, I'll kill you.

Zemo: I'm sorry, I understand that list of names. People you've wronged as the Winter Soldier. But you Y/n, you don't seem to keep a list.

Bucky: Don't push it.

Sam: I've seen that book, it was Steve's when he came out of th ice. I told him about 'Trouble Man' he wrote it in that book. Did you hear it? What'd you think?

Bucky: I like 40's music, so...

Sam: You didn't like it.

Bucky: I liked it.

Zemo: It is a masterpiece James, complete comprehensive. It captures that African-American experience.

You: He's out of line, but he's right. It's great. Everyone loves Marvin Gaye.

Bucky: I like Marvin Gaye.

You: Steve adored Marvin Gaye

Zemo: You must have really looked up to Steve.

You: Yeah.

Zemo: But I realized something when I met him. The danger with people like him, America's super soldiers, is that we put them on pedestals.

Sam: Watch your step, Zemo.

Zemo: They become symbols. Icons. And then we start to forget about their flaws. From there cities fly, innocent people die. Movements are formed, wars are fought. You remember that, right? As a young soldier sent to Germany to stop a mad icon. Do we want to live in a world full of people like the Red Skull? That is why we are going to Madripoor.

Sam: What's up with Madripoor? You talk guys about it like it's Skull Island.

Bucky: It's an island nation in the Indonesian archipelago. I was a pirate nation back in the 1800s.

Zemo: It's kept its lawless ways. But we can not exactly walk in as ourselves. James, you will have to become someone you claim is gone.

You look over at him with a concerned look, then back down to the locket. It falls to the ground without touching it.

You: Yes!

Zemo: What?

You: The locket moved

Zemo: And?

You: I have telekinesis and fire powers that I don't know how to use. And then the locket moved!

Sam: Good job Y/n

Bucky: Well done

For the rest of the flight, you were moving the locket with your mind. Up, down, left, and right.
