Catching Up

Fortunately for GD, he did meet Top once again, at the exact spot.

This time GD gathered the courage and approach him. As he got closer his hands started shaking, but still managed to tap on Top's shoulder.

"Hello" GD said shyly, trying to contain his tear from rolling down his cheeks.

Top was startled, and quickly pulled his hat downwards, to cover his face.

"H..hello" His voice was so deep you could barely hear him.

"H..hi Top, I know it's you, look I'm really sorry for not trying to contact you, but I was wondering if we could maybe catch up for coffee sometime soon?" GD utter those words, holding back his tears.

"S..sure," as Top finished his words they wave goodbye.

The day of Top 'catching up' with GD came. As he got on his car, his hand shaking, he wanted to just run in GD's arms, but this was just him fantasizing.

As he got to GD's house, his hands were still shaking due to anxiety. As he walked his way up to the front door and gathered his courage and knocked on the door.

*knock knock*

The sound of Top knocking on the door, making GD feel a rush if excitement and hurriedly ran to the door, greeting his soul mate.

"Hi, you look great." GD quietly spoke, as cheeks turns red once again after seeing Top.

"T..thanks, you look nice aswell." Top mumbled, his heart fluttered at the sight of meeting the love of his life once more.

"Please come in first, I have plenty of coffee for you." Top chuckled, GD had still remembered literally every tiny little thing about him.

As two walked inside, GD brought Top to the dinning room, it was spacious and luxurious. While Top was exploring GD's luxurious dinning room, his eyes spotted a picture of him and his lover, back in their twenties.

The sight of him seeing that picture once again, causing his eyes to tear up with memories of those amazing days.

"You kept this?" Top asked while staring at the picture.

"Oh that? Yeah I figured it'll fill up the empty wall there." GD quietly spoke.

As they walked further into GD's house, Top had experience that GD had multiple pictures of them together. He couldn't help but feel happy, he indeed still has feeling for GD. Although he tried denying, he just couldn't anymore.

He wanted him and his soulmate together once again but couldn't utter the words out.

As for GD, he purposely gave hints to Top that he was not over him just yet. It was no denying that they'd haven't lost feeling for each other, even after decades or centuries, they would still run back to another's arm. It was now time to admit it.
