20: STAMPEDE

"I wish I could be a highschool student again.. the food here is amazing!" I exclaimed while patting my full stomach.

It's already afternoon and I notice that students are now going off from their rooms. I can't help but felt a sudden nostalgia while seeing those teens.. I somehow missed highschool life.

Like how everyone is busy with study but still, having fun with their own thing and having time for themselves.

"Youth." I said as I stare at those fangirls that passed us by, they are squealing over a posters and albums about the new boygroup that just debut. "They are all looking so lively. Full of energy!"

"You are talking as if you are already old when here I am, someone older than you." Chanyeol Oppa said beside me.

I can't help but giggle. "And all of them are younger than us!"

"We don't look so old yet." Chanyeol Oppa pouted.

I want to laugh at him being conscious about his age. It's not like I am complaining that I or him is already old to be here in highschool. Infact, I am enjoying us wearing the same uniform as other students and the fact that no one even notices as if we truly belong.

I just want to admire the innocence of the students. Their bliss towards simple things such as.. fangirling.

"Haruto looks so cool! His rapping skills makes me want to kneel!"

I giggle as I overheard one girl said towards her friends. I wished Haruto could here this too! My hoobae would be so flustered!

"How I missed those days when I used to say those--" and then I stop.

I just realized who I am talking to..

I am overwhelmed by the youthful presence of the teens and their fangirling silliness around me to the point that I forgot that Chanyeol Oppa is with me! And to the point that I just said that..

Chanyeol Oppa stared at me with a smug look on his face. "You used to say what? That you want to kneel infront of me?"

I cleared my throat. I can't even stop the scarlet creeping on my neck up to my cheeks! "I-I didn't say that just so you know!"

"Come on Chpimunk.. it's okay to be honest with me." He teases!

I bit the inside of my cheek to stop myself from pouting. I continue to walk until I encounter a group of students performing! I halted to watch what's going on..

Wow.. I never have the time to watch this kind of thing because I have been too busy lately. Memories of when I first watch exo performed when I first met them flashes on my mind and the corners my lips rises up to a huge smile without me noticing..

I was busy watching the group of teens performed when suddenly, Chanyeol Oppa walked passed me to approach them.

"Kyahhh! Who is he?!"

"He's so tall!"

"I have never seen him before! Is he our senior?!"

"How come I don't know we have a schoolmate that tall?! Is he part of the varsity team?!"

I suppress my laughter because of all the shrieking of the fangirls beside me. They were all whispering and wondering about Chanyeol Oppa. A mysterious tall guy in a uniform that they never saw before.. wow, what a teen romance story!

"Hello.." Chanyeol Oppa said as he politely asked the singer if he could perform.

Everyone cheered and I cheered along! "Goooo Cha-- Yoda!" I almost shouted his name!

The guitarist let him borrow the guitar and he smiled to everyone, it's unfair that I can't see his dimple now and his beautiful eyes clearly because of the face mask and the thick nerdy glasses that he is using for disguise.

"I have never seen a nerd that hot!" A girl shouted and I agreed.

No matter how Chanyeol Oppa tried to disguise, his gorgeous facade will always overflow around him.

He coughed lightly before tapping the mic and I could already imagine the smirk under his mask. "This song.. is for the special girl I am with today.."

My heart thumped loudly inside my chest as our eyes met.. everyone shrieked and jumped as if it is them that Chanyeol Oppa is talking about but I know.. it is me.

I bit my lower lip as he started to strum his guitar.

"When you were here before.. when you were here before.. couldn't look you in the eye."

His deep voice is really soothing to the ears. Who would've thought that he is the main rapper and not one of the main vocalist of his group..

Chanyeol Oppa tilted his head towards my direction and our eyes met. "You're just like an angel.. your skin makes me cry."

"His voice is sooo deep! I love it!"

"I wish he is singing it for me!"

"No! He's mine!"

I wanted to glare at the girl who say that but I am busy admiring Chanyeol Oppa's performance.. besides, he is singing for me. So I need to make the most out of it!

"You float like a feather.. in a beautiful world.."

"It's so very special.. I wish I was special.."

I never thought there would come a day that I would sing like this.. for a very special girl and infront of many people as if I have no fear anymore.

I stared at Rosé's beautiful eyes.. it feels like she is glowing in my sight. Like everyone around her is just blurry and all I could see is her beautiful face. Well, I don't care about anyone else.. all I want is for her to hear me out.

I have never felt this kind of feeling to any other girls before.

"But I'm a creep.. I'm a weirdo.. what the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here.."

But yes, I don't belong to her.

Yes, I already have feelings for her and everytime I am with her, all the feelings inside my chest seems to only grow deeper.

"I don't belong here.."

But I don't deserve her.

Rosé.. is as pure as an angel can be.

Who am I to be someone that she could love?

I am broken deep inside. I have my own darkness that no matter how hard I try to escape.. I can't. Rosé is the only light I can see for my life but then, I am scared.

I may look tough and brave but for Rosé, I feel like I am becoming a coward.. because I can't risk her.

I continue to strum my guitar when suddenly.. "OMG! IT'S CHANYEOL OPPA! CHANYEOL OF EXO?!"

My eyes widened when a group of girls run to me and before I could even escape, all of them was already flocking me! Someone even took the chance to stole my mask and my glasses fall on the floor.

"CHANYEOL OPPA! OMG IT'S REALLY YOU!"

"KYAHHH! OMO! OMO!"

I tried to excuse myself but they were all shouting my name and trying so hard to grasped my arms. I even felt a scratched but I already felt numb as I tried to look for Rosé.

Where is she?

I hope no one recognizes her..

"OMG! IT'S CHANYEOL OPPA! CHANYEOL OF EXO!"

I look around to find who shouted that and then I saw a girl the back of a girl that runs away.. I was about to follow her but I was pushed by the stampede of many students that flocked Chanyeol Oppa!

My eyes widened and I quickly tried to stop them..!

"Please guys! Calm down!" I pleaded but everyone is already crazy by the fact that Chanyeol Oppa is infront of them..

I can't blame them really but I still tried my best to stop them but all I got was being pushed away!

I am at the back and I put all my strength so I could reach Chanyeol Oppa but then.. some boy accidentally pushed me that made me fell on the floor.

"Miss! I can't stop! Move!"

My breathing hitched when I saw another guy on a bicycle going towards my direction.. my wrist hurt already and even if I tried to move.. I can't.

I close my eyes, ready for the hurtful impact but nothing came.

Instead, all I heard was silence all of a sudden as I felt myself being lifted from the ground.

"Who is she?"

"Chanyeol Oppa has a girlfriend?"

"No way!"

I slowly open my eyes and my heart started to beat loudly when I saw Chanyeol Oppa's sharp jaw. His brows furrowed as if he is angry but he turn his back towards his fans and just walked away, with me being carried bridal style on his arms.

I look back over his shoulder only to shrink into his chest. They are taking pictures!

"Do you want to go to hospital?" Chanyeol Oppa asked, he worriedly scan me after he gently put me on the passenger seat of his car.

I bit my lower lip and shook my head. "I.. I'm fine."

He look away. "I'm sorry if you have to experience this just because you are with me."
