Chapter 15: Binding

It's finally Erza-san's wedding. I'm so happy for her. Erza-san is so beautiful in her wedding dress. Jellal looks cool too. Her reception will be held here in our hotel and everyone is going to come. I'm so excited. But still, I can't get Gray-sama out of my mind. I tried calling him but he's not answering. I tried texting him but he's not replying. He should be in Japan by now.

"Jellal must feel so lucky to be able to get married to you. He was there a little while ago and he kept on fanning his arms. It was cute." Cana-san said and they both laugh.

"Do you think he'll be okay?"

I looked at my phone and finally Gray-sama texted me.

"I just arrived in Narita. See you at the ceremony." He said. Good thing he is going. I can finally see him again.

"But since you're getting married now that means the fortune telling during New Year was wrong, right? Which means, something good might happen to me too." Cana-said

"That's right. I'm sure there will be." I said

"Right."

"A mail from Gray?" Erza-san asked "It's been 6 months since you saw him, you must be jumping inside, huh?"

"Did you get new lingerie?" Cana-san asked.

"Stop that." I said. Someone knocked on the door and its Laki-san and Lisanna-san.

"Congratulations!" They both said

"Thank you very much."

"Seeing you people getting married one by one is so annoying~ Juvia-san must be next." Laki-san said

"Eh?! No, no, it's too early for me." I said

"But this is you right?" Lisanna-san and hand me a magazine.

"See." Laki-san said.

It's an article about me and Lyon. They said that we are going out together. Who in the world made this stupid article?! And why are they taking pictures of us without our permission. Are they still going on about Lyon? Are they still going to shake and ruin him?

"It's obviously you, isn't it? Must be nice to be with a superstar, huh?" Laki-san said

"I'm jealous ~" Lisanna-san said

"Juvia?" Erza-san asked

"It's Juvia." Cana-san said

"What is this?"

Gray's POV

"Look." Laxus said and throw a magazine on his table. He showed me an article of Lyon Vastia and Juvia together. What is this? What's all this?

"Lyon Vastia is an actor we called for an event before right? This is so troublesome."

"There must be some kind of misunderstanding." I said

"Why do you know that?" Lucy asked

"She's my subordinate. She would not do something so thoughtless."

"Hmmmm..~"

"Got it. Whatever then." Laxus said and get up from his chair. "By the way, I have something to talk to you about. Let's all go eat."

"Excuse me. But today's my subordinate's wedding." I said

"Oh?" he said. Oh? Is that all you gonna say?! What the f*ck Laxus. I really want to punch this guy.

"Is that more important than me?" he said and went out his office.

I felt so guilty not coming to Erza's wedding. I even promise Juvia I will come. I don't have a choice but to accompany Laxus. I'm binded by them. I can't even text Juvia in front of them. I hope she'll forgive me.

"I don't want my wedding to be at our hotel. I want to borrow a luxury liner and have the party on the board the train. And then after that's over we can just head straight to our honeymoon!" Lucy said during our meal.

"You can't take too much time. Gray is my right hand man. He can't be off for more than 2 weeks." Laxus said. Why is this conversation getting into me?

"2 weeks? That's too short!"

"Excuse me. Is this turning into a discussion for me and Lucy's wedding?" I asked

"Yeah." He said. Like hell I'm going to marry this girl. Why didn't even he consult me for this? I glared into him to pierced it through him.

"What, that's not what you were aiming for?" he said

"I'm sorry, Director. I have a girlfriend." I said

"Oh! That girl, right? The one that was photograph with Lyon Vastia." Lucy said

"Is that so?" Laxus asked

"Your reaction when you saw those photos was somewhat off, so I knew right away."

"How can you get that?" Laxus asked

"I'm a woman with good intuition." She said "But you've been gone for 6 months, so you couldn't take care of her, right? If a man like Lyon Vastia comes for her, wouldn't it be a woman's instinct to just turn away?" Lucy said. But I know that article was a lie. I have faith in Juvia. She won't ever do that especially to Lyon Vastia again.

"Unlike Macao-san, you're not stupid. You understand, don't you? For men, love and marriage are two different things." He said. I'm really annoyed at these siblings. Someday I'll find a way to break this binding on me, even if it takes me everything.
