Chapter 5: Mischievous Act

The next day, I went to Ms. Jenny's company again to thank her personally. "Good Morning." I greeted as I enter their office.

"Good Morning." A receptionist greeted back

"I'm Juvia Lockser from Fairy Hotel. The event was a blast thanks to Jenny Realight. I'm here to express our gratitude." I said

"The Chief, right? Please wait for a moment." She said and I sit on the waiting area

"They really had us there." I heard from the inside

"You had it rough too, Hibiki?"

"You can understand?"

"Seriously...Still, we've been had by Fairy Hotel's Gray Fullbuster." Gray-sama?! I lean forward to listen to what they are talking about.

"Our Chief Ichiya gives in easily too."

"Still, how could he have found out Jenny and the Chief was having a fling?" Fling???

"Where is his source?"

"This woman, Ultear Milkovich. She's dated Gray-san in the past."

"EHHHH!!!???" I suddenly get up from the chair I was seated and rush through the door and get inside. I looked at the laptop and they are watching something. "This is Gray-sama's ex?!" I went out the company stopping my feet on the floor and went back to our Hotel.---

"Gray-sama you're the worst. If it's work, you don't mind using your ex, huh? While Juvia was working hard, you were laughing at Juvia through your nose in the shadows, weren't you? When Juvia was waiting for the Chief in the cold, everything was already settled, wasn't it? Right? Am I right? After all, it's weird for Juvia to be next after that famous person, huh? Or maybe not. Juvia could be the next, next, next for all I know. And I thought why you even wanted to date me—" I asked him while getting the teams luggage in the compartment of the bus while he is checking if everything is clear in his check board but suddenly he disappeared like a bubble when I was talking. Agh! I've had enough of his attitude!

The department went to an outing together. Chief Macao is singing on the stage while everyone is sitting on their own table eating and drinking. I noticed Gray-sama is sitting alone in the corner of the room again. I went to him and poured him a glass of sake.

"Gray-sama is too secretive!" I said but he didn't respond "Hey can you hear me?! Why would you want me—" he stood up "Where are you going?" I asked but instead of responding, he grabbed my hand and takes me with him.

He takes me to an empty room with two beds in it. Wha-What are we going to do here????!!!

"W-what is it?" I asked a bit trembling

"So in the end what're you trying to say?" he asked

"Well...so...why did you ask me out? Were you making fun of Juvia?"

"I wasn't. Why do you lack that much confidence? I already made the reason clear from the start. I was set on you so I asked you out." He said without even changing his facial expression. He only have this crossed eyebrows while talking to me.

"Set on you? What's does that mean?" I asked and turned my back on him "Sure thing. If that's all there was. I wasn't going to agree from the start anyway. Because you said rehabilitation, I thought why not..."

"What're you babbling on your own?"

"Like I said. Juvia don't get it. Like, what you think of Juvia." I said. He step closer to me and cupped his hands on my cheeks. Wha- Wha- What is this??? Why is he holding? What is he going to do? My heart beat is beating so fast all of a sudden. He stares at my eyes down to my lips. What is this? Is he going to k--!

"Your lips look like a 'caret' (^) huh?" Eh??? He put his thumbs on the corner of my lips and pull them up

"If you do this it won't be as visible." He said and I slapped him really hard! So much for great expectations Juvia! Hmmp! I left him in the room with his sore cheek and went back to Erza-san and drink as much as I want.

"What happened to you and Gray?" she asked

"NOTHING!" I said and drink the sake straight from the bottle
