Chapter 4

After that disastrous conversation with Jin, you never heard anything from him again. No call nor text to say he was sorry. You guess he really mean it this time.

It was 5 days after Namjoon's birthday that you decided to drop by the dorm to visit the boys since it's been a while since you last saw them. Yoongi this time was the one who requested you to come over and use Namjoon's birthday as an excuse to see you. Jungkook was diligent enough to tell you that Jin is out that day on a date with Soyeon and might come home late which just gives you enough time to bond with your friends whom you missed so much.

Balancing a few take away food on your hand and some stuff for the boys, you managed to ring the door bell of their door and instantly you heard footsteps running towards the door. "Noona!" Junngkook excitedly shouted the moment the door swung open. "Hey, how's my Kookie?" You greeted him. He just plastered a smile as a response and helped you carry some ofyour stuff in the dorm.

"(Y/N) noona's here." He excitedly shouted as he placed the bags of food on the table and ran towards the kitchen to get some plates and utensils. Taehyung and Jimin came rushing out of their rooms and ran towards you and engulfed you in a big hug. You hugged them back and playfully ruffled their hairs.

"Hey guys, just a short visit here since I missed Namjoon's celebration." You said as you turn your attention to all the food that you bought and started unpacking them one by one.

"That's fine, noona. As long as you spend time with us, we're happy already. Taehyung said as he flashed a lopsided smile that made you laugh. The boys helped you out in setting the dining room table with food. You and the maknae line are still busy prepping when Namjoon, Yoongi and Hoseok emerged from their rooms and greeted you.

"Long time no see, princess!" Yoongi said as he gave you a hug just like the rest of the boys. "Hey, stranger." You greeted Yoongi.

"Noona, thanks for the gift. I like it and I'm kinda wearing it right now." Namjoon beamed as he showed off the gray sweater and cap that he is wearing. You clapped your hands in delight as you saw how the sweater perfectly fits Namjoon and the cap suits him well.

"I'm glad you like it." You beamed proudly as you continued to prepare the food on the table.

You were all eating and laughing just like the old times when suddenly the door of the dorm opened and Jin came in. The laughter immediately got interrupted as Jin stared at you as he walked quietly into the room. You kept silent as well as you just watch Jin stare at you and wonder what is going on in his head.

"You have no right to tell me you have feelings for me. Soyeon and I were doing great before I knew about your feelings." There was a note of barely contained exasperation in his voice. You were caught off guard on Jin's sudden outburst that you didn't have time to respond. Now, all the boys stopped eating and is now gazing you in silence as they comprehend on what they have heard.

"What?" Was all you could say at first. "Look, Jin. I said I'm sorry, ok? I have no intentions of damaging further of our relationship nor confuse you. I really don't have plans on telling you how I felt. It just sort of happened." You looked at your hands and tried to fight back the tears that are now welling in your eyes.

"But I missed you so badly. Do you even think it was easy for me to see you and Soyeon together? And to make a decision not to see you and the boys the way like it was before she forbade you to see me? It killed me. I was so miserable." You sighed as you tried to compose yourself.

"Well, you should have said something if you don't like it." He snapped.

"Said what? That it's unfair for you not to fight for me? Jin, I get it. Soyeon is that impotant to you that's why I agreed on her condition for your relationship to work. All I wanted is for you to be happy, Jin, but why are you so mad? I told you I have accepted the fact that it's you and Soyeon. So please just stop grilling me about it and leave me alone." This time you are now shouting. You walked away from the table and walk towards where Jin is. Jungkook stood up and was about to approach you when Yoongi grab hold of his wrist and prevented him from going near you. He just stood there watching intently.

"You just don't get it, do you?" Jin shouted angrily at you.

"Get what, Jin? Get what? It's very obvious that I am missing something here." You retorted at Jin as you glared at him furiously and folded your arms across your chest.

"Are you dumb or just simply naive?" He scoffed. You just ignored the comment and continued to stare at him waiting for his reply.

Jin stopped for a moment and contemplated if he will tell you what he wanted to say. All the other boys are keenly watching both of you. It was pretty obvious that the argument you have with Jin is making them unncomfortable, but because of the sudden shouting between Jin and you, the boys are now stuck on their seats and patiently wait on what the outcome would be of your argument.

"What?" You finally said. Jin sighed.

"I only dated Sora so that I can forget about you." He managed to say.

"You what now?" You thought you heard it wrong. Did he just confess that he HAD feelings for you? And that he is just using Soyeon?

"I went out with Soyeon because I don't know if I could have a chance with you. To forget my feelings for you." You were in shock. Mostly, people would just be happy if the person they longed for confessed their feelings towards them, but in your case and in this scenario, it is more of a put down rather than something to celebrate about. It was not only you who got surprised with the sudden revelation. Gasps were heard from the silent spectators.

The information in front of you is too much to handle. It made you even more furious and disheartened at the same time upon knowing that Jin was blaming all the miscommunication on you when in fact, he was the one who kept his feeling first from you all bottled up.

"That is so unfair, Jin! And you are giving me a hard time because of something I didn't say when in fact you are also guilty of the same sin!" You practically screamed at Jin who now fell silent and is just looking at you slowly break down.

"So why? Why didn't you tell me you have feelings for me? It's pretty obvious you that you felt it first. We are basically hanging out like almost every weekend since we're 8. So why?" You questioned him and you tried to control your emotions but it just made you shiver.

"Don't you think I tried doing that? But the timing was just not right. Your 21st birthday, that weekend in Hoseok's parents place, the night I got back from Japan. That new year's eve party. I tried, (Y/N). But things got in the way. And everytime I look at you, you seem happy the way we are, so I don't want to ruin it." He blurted out.

"Oh my gosh! So now what is your point, Jin?" You confusedly asked.

"The point is, I don't need this right now to complicate my life, it's too late. We could have been, but it didn't. Maybe it's not meant to be. And I'm with somebody else now, ok?" It was a slap on your face. The cold bitter truth coming from his mouth was like a knife stabbing you over and over again. The pain was too much to bear. The humiliation of being depicted as someone so desperate for his love and the embarassment of admitting your feeling towards and being shut down over and over again.

"So what are you saying? After you telling me you also have feelings for me, you're just going to put that all away and ignore the fact that this conversation did happen? You are confusing the hell out of me, Jin." You cried.

"Don't be confused and let me spell it out for you. I'm with Sora now. I am happy." He sneered.

That was the last straw. The message was clear as daylight. It's over. After squeezing the bitter truth out, you were left with nothing but pain and confusion. You were played. Used. You had enough.

"You know what, fine, just fine, go ahead and do that. Let's just pretend this conversation between us never existed. Be happy with Soyeon for all I care. Thanks for this, now I can move on! Now I really got my closure." You furiously shouted as you grabbed your purse from the living room and stomped out of the dorm. Without second thought, Yoongi ran after you while Namjoon stood up and calmed Jin.

Hoseok, Taehyung and Jungkook all gave death glares to Jimin. "Best advice ever!" Jungkook hissed at Jimin before he took off to following Yoongi out of the dorm.
