Chapter 6 - Approval of the Alpha and Omega?

I stir after what feels like years of sleep to soft, gentle kisses brushing against my neck and a nibble on my ear lobe.

"Hmmm, V, stooop!" I giggle, groaning at being woken up but glad that last night wasn't just another dream.

I scream internally as I roll over slowly, wrapping an arm around the man finally in my bed, snuggling my nose into his nape and trying to go back to sleep.

"Wake up princess we got work to do!" Griffon caws irritably, hmm good.

V wraps his arms around me in a firm but gentle hug, chuckling and trying to lift my head with his nose, to no avail of course.

"Come on dear one, it's time to rise for the day, we have work to do." He kisses me again and gets up, or at least tries to. Eventually I give in an let him up, pulling myself into a sitting position.

"Can't we stay in bed, maybe..." I stand up behind him, covers wrapped around me cause I don't trust the bird not to comment, wrapping my arms around his waist and begin kissing and licking his shoulders and neck "...hit the rewind button to last night's events" I giggle trying to put all of the seductiveness I can muster into my voice and actions.

"Hmm, how about a deal? You be a good girl and get ready, we'll do Morrisons job and THEN, we hit rewind, over and over and....ahhh, over again." He begins kissing and caressing my neck as he speaks, that sexy seductive half smile blessing his face as he does.

"Ugh, deal!" I jump on him, wrapping my legs around him and kissing him fiercely, earning a moan of pleasure and a growl of dominance as he kisses back.

All too quickly I drop down again and we dress each other, V whispering sweat things in my ear as we walk out of my room and straight into Nero.

Oh SHIT!.

"Mor...what the...ya know, I don't wanna know!" He says, glowing crimson as he turns to walk away, forgetting there's a mirror at the end of the hall and I can see his huge ass grin.

"I have a feeling I'm not going to hear the end of this." V states simply as we walk into the main office where everyone else is waiting.

"Finally girl! Lazy pup syndrome or somethin' it's gone 2pm!" Nico practically screeches as I flop on the sofa next to Dante, hugging him quickly before attacking the girls in turn.

"Oh shish with the damn nickname, and hey I worked my ass off I deserved the rest. Anyway Morrisons jobs usually involve nighttime" I say grappling with her playfully before pinning her to the floor with a triumphant huff in her face. "And last I checked  gone 2pm isn't nightfall Nico" we giggle as she pulls me down beside her.

"While that is true, it also means there is plenty of time for you to explain last night's actions on your part young lady" the voice is low and steady but I know the tone in it and I instantly curl inwardly with, not fear, but something close to it. Outwardly I stand and turn slowly, trying to act like I'm perfectly fine and unphased by him.

"When did you get back, Vergil?" I ask once our eyes meet, if I were a wolf as they all call me, this man is the alpha I would NEVER cross openly.

"That, is none of your concern, now. Answer. The. Question" he keeps eye contact as I stare him down, feeling confidence build suddenly as a hand touches my hip.

"As you say, it is none of your concern, Brother" I turn to see V stood beside me that's why I feel better, I smile at him and look back to Vergil who is now descending from the upper level of the office where all our books are located. He never breaks eye contact with V as he comes closer.

"I know what happened between the two of you" he moves the Yamato at his side between us as he stops in front of us, closer to me than V.

"We all know Vergil, so what they finally did each other, it's about flaming time" a mix of other voices chime as my mind whirls.

They know? How the... The window was open, oh noooo!!

I don't have time to dwell on this as the man before me begins to laugh, actually LAUGH. "Damn you Dante I was going for drama!" He glared at Dante as he chuckles gently. It's huskier than V's and not as smooth but no where near as bellowing and loud as Dante's.

"Wait what...what's going on!" I stutter confused as V is suddenly pinned to the wall by everyone bar me. " What are you guys doing!" I yell with a reelling mind. Both furious and shocked at the sudden movements.

"Hurt her and I swear your a dead man" Nero

"You'll identify as female if ya do" Nico

"Cause we'll shove it so far..." Trish and Lady

That's it, I burst out laughing at them all as I lock eyes with V, he doesn't give a damn, the guy is literally being threatened by the craziest people alive and... and he doesn't give two flying ones.

He pushes each of them away in turn, walking up to me with that sexy smile and chuckles, "I have no intention of ever hurting this precious girl, now or ever!" and just like that he's kissing me. I tense at first, shocked from the public affection but soon melt into it, but pull away quicker than I would have liked.

"You'd better V, or we will end you. Permanently" Dante and Vergil make the group.

I look at the group before me. Only now has it registered that I actually mean something to these people and they to me, more than I would have admitted before. I have my pack, but I also have my secret and from the look in Lady's eyes she hasn't forgotten our half chat yesterday.

I roll my eyes as I realise they're all staring at me, V included. What?

"So does this mean we have the blessing of you psychos?" I ask acting as innocent as I had been the day before?

"Yes!" They all chime back as V wraps his arms around me from behind.

"Ugh, Shakespear she hates PDA, Leave her alone" Griffon squawks as V and I kiss quickly.

I smile and look at V over my shoulder as if to confirm this. He shrugs in reply and kisses me again.

"I love you, Melodie" his whispers as he hugs me.

"I love you, V" V said he loves me, and I actually said it back.
