Chapter 5

A/N: (I'll put the song where kz sings it up here so that you guys would know how kz sangs it😉 cause there is a scene where the band are gonna sing it so enjoy🤍 )

Y/n Leighrei's Pov

Earlier, JYP texted our manager to say that we were going to perform for him today. Of course, we already knew we would have an audience, and I suspected that my best friend Ryujin would be there to watch me. "Girls, be ready in 20 minutes," our manager said, and I quickly jumped up from the couch to change. We had seen her message in our group chat that JYP had called for us to perform in front of him at the company to see how good we were. So, it seemed like he was going to judge us, or something. I quickly shrugged off the thought and started getting dressed. My outfit for the day consisted of a grey Fly Emirates sando, black Nike taslan shorts, a black belt bag, a cap, and white sneakers.

As I stepped out of my room, I saw that we were all ready. We quickly made our way to the elevator and headed down to the ground floor, where the building's parking area was located.

As our manager drove the car, I caught my sister writing down some songs that we might play later. She planned to suggest them to PD-nim, so we could perform them in front of him.

She listed some songs that she will suggest it later to PD-nim are,

•Angels like you -miley cyrus•Never be the same-Camila Cabello•Die for you (remix)-The weekend & Ariana grande•Side to side- Ariana grande ft. Nicki Minaj

Then i was shocked that she listed her favorite band cover that we always play when we are at our house studio in the Philippines

This song is really good when my sister sings it herself she even rapped it herself since it was her favorite covered song. Then i thought, This is gonna be fun. Then i smirk.

~Minutes Later~

As we arrived at the building, our manager asked the receptionist where the band studio was located, but the answer surprised us. The receptionist said that PD-nim had instructed us to go straight to the main hall to perform there. Our manager nodded and asked for more detailed directions to the hall, and the receptionist kindly pointed us in the right direction. They said, "Just walk straight and then turn to the right. You'll see a big door with a sign that says 'main hall.'" We quickly made our way to the direction the receptionist had pointed out and followed their instructions. To our shock, the main hall door was already open, and we spotted a band set on the stage. My eyes widened in surprise as I realized we were going to perform there.As we entered the main hall, we saw PD-nim talking to one of the staff members. The staff member noticed us and quickly reported our arrival to PD-nim. After greeting PD-nim, the staff member returned to their duties, and PD-nim approached us. He greeted us warmly."Hello there, Unique 4!" PD-nim said as he approached us. He looked genuinely impressed that we had arrived early. "Are you guys excited?" he asked, smiling warmly.My sister replied to him with a chuckle and said, "I think so. We were early because we wanted to check out the studio or, in this case, the hall. And I know that my fellow band members here are excited to perform on the stage." She grinned as she turned to us and we nodded in agreement. I turned my head to take in the entirety of the main hall. The size of the room took my breath away, and my eyes kept roaming everywhere. Suddenly, to my surprise, I spotted a group of girls sitting on the left side of the stage. As I looked closer, I realized it was Twice. My eyes widened in shock.As I turned my head to look, a member of Twice waved at me and it was Sana, but I ignored it. Instead, I saw my cousin wave back. Typical Quinn. I sighed, the i turned my attention back to my manager, sister, and PD-nim, who were still engaged in conversation.  Then a staff member approached where PD-nim stood and informed him that everything was set. PD-nim nodded and turned to us, saying, "It's all set, girls. We can go there now." He then led the way to the stage. We followed him to our designated spot.

Once we were in front of the stage, PD-nim gave us the signal to go up. Being a drummer, I was the first to test the drum set, making sure it was in good working order and that everything was set up properly. And i tested the microphone first."Mic test 1, 2, 3," I said into the microphone to ensure it was working properly. After hearing my voice echo through the hall, I gave a satisfied nod. To test the drum set, I sat down and started playing a simple beat to see if it was functioning correctly. It sounded great! With a smile, I looked up at my band members to see if they were also satisfied with their equipment.

We gave our manager a quick look and nodded to confirm that all our band equipment was working properly. She returned the gesture, also nodding. My sister then made her way down from the stage to approach PD-nim and ask about the order of the songs we would play. PD-nim told her that we could play all the songs on the list my sister had shared earlier, and that he approved of our performance already because he just wanted to see how good we were. With that confirmation, we were now ready to start playing.My sister told us that we should start with her favorite cover song, Rolling In The Deep by Kz Tandingan, We nodded and returned to our positions to start playing.

Third person's pov

As Quinn began the acoustic intro, the members of Twice and the other K-pop groups under JYP couldn't help but be shocked by how good it sounded. Felicity then took over and smoothly sang the first verse of the song, "Rolling in the Deep," by Kz Tandingan.

Her voice was clear, powerful, and incredibly mesmerizing. The crowd was also captivated and began to sing along with her, adding to the energy and excitement in the venue.Then she started to sing the pre chorus and the chorus.

As Y/N smirked, realizing it was her turn, she adjusted to the mic to deliver a powerful rap performance. She had been preparing for this moment for years, and it showed in her confident delivery and seamless flow.

She rapped this part even though she was still playing the drums.The audience was completely caught up in the energy and excitement of the moment, and they cheered as Y/N nailed the rap.The members of Twice were in complete awe of Y/N's rap performance and were caught up in the atmosphere of excitement and energy that filled the venue. They cheered loudly in response to Y/N's skills, and she noticed the reaction and smiled broadly. The Twice were shocked by her smile and began to cheer even louder. The energy in the room was simply electric, and Y/N knew that she had absolutely knocked it out of the park with her rap performance. Then its her sister's turn to sing the whole part.

The band's performance of "Rolling In The Deep" came to an end, and the audience erupted in a loud wave of cheers and applause. As the noise faded away, Felicity took the mic and asked the crowd, "Do you guys want some more?!" She flashed a big smile at the audience, and it was evident that she was feeling the energy and excitement of the moment. The atmosphere was electric, and it was like a real concert, except the audience was made up of other idols under JYP. The crowd erupted in cheers once again, indicating that they definitely wanted more. Felicity looked at her bandmates and nodded, signaling that they should continue playing. The band launched into another song called "Side to side by Ariana grande ft. Nicki Minaj" , and the energy in the room continued to escalate as they played on. This time, Felicity took center stage and picked up an electric guitar. The crowd couldn't believe their eyes as they watched the vocalist of the band perform on such a unique instrument. The cheers and applause grew even louder, and the energy in the room was palpable. The band played on, with Felicity's electric guitar adding a whole new dimension to their sound. The audience was completely captivated, and they couldn't wait to see what the band would do next. And this time the 4 band members will sing while playing each instruments.

Then Felicity and the others started singing the pre-verse 1 while she's playing the electric guitar.

As Y/n took center stage and began to sing her part, the audience was once again caught off guard by her powerful and beautiful vocals. The Twice members' eyes widened in shock, and they felt chills run down their spines as they listened to Y/n's voice. One of them even uttered under her breath, "Wow, her vocals are really good... even better than mine,"  Mina and Sana said as they both looked at Y/n, who was still playing the drums with a smile on her face. The rest of the Twice members nodded in agreement while they tried to shake off the shock of hearing Y/n's talent. They were stuck in their positions, completely mesmerized by her performance. And the band is still singing and playing.

As Dahyun and Chaeyoung, the main rappers of TWICE, heard Y/n's rapping, they were both caught off guard and exclaimed in unison, "Wow, she is really good!" Dahyun turned to her partner and said, "I'm really impressed by her talent. I want to talk to her later and ask her to train me how to rap faster just like her." Chaeyoung nodded, "Yes, I completely agree unnie. Her talent is undeniable, and I want to learn from her too." With their eyes fixed on Y/n, they were in complete awe of her abilities and couldn't wait to pick her brain and learn from her.The Twice members overheard the conversations between Dahyun and Chaeyoung and couldn't help but smile at the enthusiasm their fellow idols displayed towards Y/n's talent. They continued to cheer on the four ladies, who were absolutely killing it on stage, and the energy in the room reached fever pitch. The audience couldn't get enough, and the members of Twice were completely enthralled with the performance. They knew this was going to be a concert that everyone would talk about for years to come, and they were honored to be part of it. And the band are still singing.

After a thrilling performance, Y/n ended their song for the night, bringing a close to the evening's show. The band members are visibly tired, but they are also buzzing with excitement and a sense of accomplishment. As the audience makes their way out of the venue and heads towards the main hall, the band packs up their equipment and heads out to meet the crowds. The energy in the room is palpable, and the members of the band feel a sense of pride and satisfaction knowing that they put on a show that won't be forgotten anytime soon. They know they have a long way to go, but they are more determined than ever to continue making music that will leave a lasting impression on people's hearts and minds....
