✒Scary... ❤

I slowly open my eyes just to see a pair forest green orbs staring back at mine.

"Good morning" He says.

"Gah!!! You scared me!" I shout.

"Oh? Hehe, sorry then"

Why so sudden in the morning?

"Hurry up, we're going somewhere, remember?" He smirks.

Huh? What? Where are we going? Don't tell me... This bastard...

"If you refuse to go then, stay stink!" He says in a tune that I really want to slap him in the face.

But come to think of it, I can use this chance to escape from here. And then, I don't have to face this idiot anymore.

"Why aren't you saying anything?" He says. "You're not planning on running away, are you?"

"Maybe I am, maybe I'm not" I smile wickedly.

"You don't stand a chance of getting away from me"

"Oh yeah? We'll see"

He pulls me up by the chains connected to the cuffs my wrist. He rests his hand on my shoulder and in a blink or an eye, we're out in the forest!

I'm stunned...

"First experience?" He chuckles.

"Whatever, let's just go"

He drags me by the chains and starts walking... To the river, I think.

This guy... What is this weird feeling? I feel so familiar with him. I wonder if I actually know this guy- what kind of connection do we have anyway? I wouldn't be friends with such a stupid jerk like him. 

If only I get to see his face properly. He still has that black mask covering the bottom half of his face everytime. I can only see his dark forest green eyes, his Raven hair, pale skin... Maybe he doesn't want me to recognize him? What's the reason of that?

"Hey, you" I say to him.

"Hmm?" He responses.

"Who are you?" I ask.

"Let's just say I can keep you safe" He replies and refuses to say more.

I'm not giving up, though. I swear I'm going to find out who he really is. I'm going to discover the truth. And also the reason behind all of this nonsense.

"We're here"

In front of me is a river flowing calmly and the water seems to reach above my waist.

"Get in there. Or I'll have to push you in?"

"Do I have a change of clothes?" I ask.

He hands over a white shirt, a pair of black and green shorts which is freaking short like my Powerpuff skirt and I honestly hate it.

Inside the folded white shirt, I see the undergarments that I need.

"Now hurry up, undress yourself and get in"

"What? You expect me to do that with you in front of me like this? Oh hell no!"

"I won't look" He says and goes up to climb a tree nearby and sleeps on the branch with his back facing me.

Could I really trust him?

He doesn't look like he's pretending to sleep...

What am I waiting for?! I get ready to fly away when I realized... My wrists are still chained.

AND HOW CAN I UNDRESS MYSELF?! 

I should've seen this coming... He expects me to call for his help.

"Hey! You there! undo my chains!" I shout.

He chuckles and just pops up in front of me.

"I can only undo one... So that you can't escape" He says and undo my right wrist. My left one is still cuffed... He holds the other end of the chain in his hand and goes back to sleeping on the tree branch.

But... It's not working. I can't take my shirt off...

"Hey! It doesn't work good!" I shout.

"Hmm? You want me to help you undress then?"

"Just unlock my left wrist too goddammit!"

He hops off the branch and comes to me. "But I'll have to warn you, if you try to walk, run, or fly away, I can immediately sense it" He says and frees my wrist.

Is he serious?

He goes back to sleeping again.

Ha, it's not like he can fly anyway... Or maybe he can?

I lift my feet from the ground slowly... Not a smart move, the chains are back on my wrists!!! What?!

"Told you" He says, his back still facing me. He isn't looking my way, how could he know?! That's... Ugh!

I guess it's no use doing anything this time... I'll have to find his weakness first... Perhaps I can attack him.

For now... I feel stinky! I haven't take a bath since yesterday morning.

I look at his direction again... He's not peeking, is he? Doesn't seem like it...

I slowly undress and get in the water. It feels so nice. I glace at him again, he's not looking at all. It kinda feel safe.

After I'm done, I get out of the water and grab the clothes. He turns to my direction! I'm about to scream but I see that his eyes are still closed and he's just tossing and turning in his sleep like a normal person would do... I sigh and get dressed quickly before he really wakes up.

Wow, he does keeps his promise.

I take the advantage and turn to look around for a great way to escape. It won't work but I have no give it a try. As I start walking, the chains appear like magic once again! And of course, he wakes up.

"I told you, did I not?" He says and pops up beside me. "Let's go home"

We walk back to the cave. I try to remember to paths in case I'm able to escape someday...

I pick some fruit to eat on the way, too. He doesn't, of course... He doesn't want me to see his face!

"Hey" I say.

"What is it?" He replies.

"Are my friends okay? Where are they?" I ask.

"I don't know"

"Why do you have to hide your face from me? Is it that ugly?"

He chuckles. "Do you think so?"

"Maybe"

We burst out laughing for a little while.

We reach the cave, and yeah, once again, I experience the 'popping out of nowhere' thing. It doesn't feel that stunned the second time.

I feel kind of bored so I decide to tease him a bit... Also, to find any weaknesses possible.

"Hey, what's your name?"

"You don't need to know about that" He says.

"Why is that?"

"Not important"

"I thought so... Well, in that case, I'll just call you..."

"Hmm?"

"Aha! I figured out why you're hiding your face!"

"What is it that you figured out huh?"

"Yellow teeth!"

"Ehh?"

"Or... Perhaps you have a beak like a duck!"

"Good grief Kaoru"

"Hmm... Could it be that you have big lips like a fish?"

"Stop it"

"I get it! Your mouth smells so stink that when you talk, it smells like garbage so you have to cover it"

"Buttercup..."

"You probably never brush your teeth that it's-"

I'm cut off mid sentence when I see a long sharp Katana placed on my shoulder... Almost touches my neck.

I freeze. He has the death glare on his face and he looks like he's going to kill me any second now...

"I told you to stop" His tune sounds as scary as ever.

"S-sorry... " My voice is trembling. I'm sweating like crazy... The shiny blade on my shoulder feels so deadly.

He slowly pulls his Katana back. I sigh in relief.

"You're scary..."

He turns around and walks away

"Don't.ever.tease.me.again" He says behind his back and dissapears.

I sigh. No use at all... Such a failure... Since he's gone, I'm stuck here again. I continue to eat some fruit I picked a on the way.
