Chap. 6: Silently Calm

Ashny's POV ~         "What're we waiting for. Let's all calebrate, for our new crewmember. Wohoo." Captain said. "Yeah, alright!" they all shouted, except for Zoro. "Yosh! Let's party tonight. And Sanji! Cook me lots of meat!" Meat?" I gulped. "So you like meat too huh, Ashny." Nami said. I nooded to her. "And sake too, ero cook." Zoro yelled. "What did you say stupid marimo!" Sanji yelled to Zoro. "You wanna fight me shitty cook!" 'BONK' 'BONK' "Will you shut up already! Ugh, why do i have to look after these idiots." Nami shouted at them. "Shut up woman!" "Oi marimo, don't speak to Nami-swan that way!" 'BONK' 'BONK' "I said shut up!" "Hahahahaha." I couldn't stop laughing. Their hilarious.        They stared at me, but I just laughed and laughed. "You guys...haha...are funny. Hahaha. I think I'm going to have a lot of fun here." I tried my best to say it, and stopped laughing. "Hope you do have fun, ma demoiselle." Sanji said, lighting his cigarette.  "Me too."

Time Skip ~ (Night time on deck)      "PARTY!" captain shouted. "Oi everyone. Food's ready." Sanji came out of the kitchen. "MEAT!" Luffy and I yelled. "No, the meat is mine!" Luffy shouted. He stretched his arms and took a lot of meat and stuffed it all in his mouth. "No way! Gimme some." I jumped into the table and took as much meat as I could....       The event went on for hours. There were shouting and yelling of "Luffy. That's mine!" or "Huh? Where's my food. Luffy!" and "Hey! Give that back!" I think everybody had a good time.

Few more hours later ~ (Midnight)       "Ugh. I'm so exhausted, and stuffed." I whispered to myself after I woke up. I didn't even know I passed out. But I did have a good time. I stood up and looked at everybody, sleeping. I couldn't sleep again, so I tiptoed out to get some fresh air near the railings. I looked at the horizon. It was so peaceful. I leaned on the railings with my elbow supporting and palms on my chin. I turned to look at the village. And the lights were so beautiful. I makes me feel so calm. I closed my eyes and feel the silence. But footsteps disturbed my peaceful state. "Oh Ashny. Why're you still up." a sleepy voice said behind me. I turned around and saw a sleepy captain, walking towards me. "Uh, eh. I can't sleep." I said, looking at him. "Oh. Ok." he said, and I looked back at the ocean.

Luffy's POV ~        I woke up for some reason. I stood up and saw Ashny, leaning on the railings. "Why is she still awake. "Oh Ashny. Why're you still up." She turned around. I walked closer to her. "Uh, eh. I can't sleep." she said. "Oh. Ok." She looked back at the ocean. I walked closer and leaned also on the railings, the same position as hers. But I wasn't really comfortable with the position, so I jumped on the railings and sat there, facing her. "What'cha thinking?" I suddenly asked her. "Ah~,so bored." I pouted. "My family." she said. "Why?" I asked again. But she didn't answered. The wind blew her hair and I'm sure, I saw something fell from her eyes. I realised it was her tears. My body moved on its own and wiped her tears. "Uh, sorry. I was just curious." I felt a bit guilty. Why do I always make my crew cry though. "No, it's ok. You're my captain. And we never keep secrets from each other,right. So I think I'll tell you, what happened to me." she wiped some of her tears. I nodded. I jumped of the railings and we both sat down on the floor. The she told her story.

Time Skip ~ Ashny's POV ~       I told captain my story, since I knew I could trust him. There wer times I cried and sometimes smiled. Remembering those good memories. "It's ok. You will never be alone. We're here." he said and hugged me. I don't like crying. It makes me look weak. But since they are family, it is fine. My eyes grew tired and fell asleep.

Someone's POV ~      "Hmm. I wonder what they're talking about." I smirked at the thought. "I think, I better ask them tomorrow."
