Chapter 24

"Another project?"Complained a student

"We have a project in Chemistry. And now this? History?Man..."He continued to grumble

"You know guys,if you're not interested and you don't want to do this project,you should just say it. It's better to be obedient than to be a grumbler. Right,sir?"Said a student with a slight seductive pose

"Tch. Whore"A female student rolled her eyes

Sonic was playing with his pencil. Hearing the teacher silence them and continuously explained the whole detail about the project before he stood up and say goodbye to the students. Sonic saw his friends standing beside the door,obviously waiting for him. He grabbed his bag and head on his friends

"What club do you guys going to join on?"Tails asked

"Music club"Said Knuckles

"Science club"Sonic plainly said

"I heard a try out on a varsity,"Tails said

"Oh wait. Really?I thought the try out will be soon. But I think I'll be on basketball"Knuckles said

"How about you Tails?"Asked Knuckles

"I think I'm gonna be with Sonic"Tails smiled

"Mam. Christel said the club will be starting tomorrow"He continued

When Sonic opened the door,he was sent by a sharp glare from Shadow. Sonic avoid his gaze. Sonic sat on the table next to Shadow since it's the only table available as for now

"I think we should come here on early time"Knuckles said noticing the distance between them

"I...guess so"Tails said

"I'm gonna go order"Knuckles said as he stood up along with Tails

"You sure you're fine there Sonic?"Knuckles asked

"Y-yeah"He nodded

Sonic,on the other hand wasn't really fine. On the corner of his eyes,he still notice Shadow's sharp glare. He turned his head on the other way,as long as he don't see Shadow glaring at him

Suddenly,the sound of the speaker on the cafeteria was heard, announcing something

"Students,after your lunch time kindly come to the gymnasium. We will announce something and we will have a meeting. Again,after your lunch kindly come to the gymnasium,we will be announcing something and we'll be having a meeting. Thank you"

"Perhaps that can be the acquaintance party again"Whispered a student

Sonic slightly looked at the student who spoke. But of course,he also want to know himself what's the reason of the sudden meeting

"No,maybe not. There's an event where Mr.Doom visits the school. Only occasionally though. I don't know"Said another student

Sonic suddenly looked at Shadow after hearing the said information. But Shadow wasn't there anymore. Sonic looked at Rouge who seemed worried,Scourge who seemed annoyed

"Tch. He just run off"Wave rolled his eyes

"Nevermind him. He's always like that and it's really irritating me. Do we have to please him all the time"Said Scourge

Rouge rolled her eyes. She slammed her hand in the table before walking out

"Just like her too"Storm said before taking a bite of his sandwich
