Chapter 3

It was the end of school.Sonic and his new friends told each other a bye.He was walking with Tails.Their houses were pretty far from the school

Tails was his neighbour.Only two houses and then it was Tails'.Sonic opened his door revealing his father,Jules,reading a news paper

"Hi dad"Sonic greeted

"Hi there.How was school?"His asked

"It was...fine"Sonic said

Half of it was true.He can't tell his dad some shit had occured

"I see..."Jules smiled

"Sonic!Dear! You're back!"His mother Bernadette walked downstairs and hugged him

"How was the school?Did you make new friends?"Bernadette smiled

"Yeah..kinda"Sonic said

"Jules, I'll go out.I just need to buy some groceries"Bernadette said

Sonic noticed his mother was well dressed.Jules nodded and Bernadette walked outside.The sound of the car starting

Sonic walked upstairs to head on his room.Sonic sighed.He looked at the book that was on his bed.He only read it before going to school

It was an astronomy book.Sonic's favorite is Science.He is very interested.Mostly in the planets

He lied down and read it's contents.While he was reading,his phone buzzed.He looked at the message

It was from Sally,his friend.She was Sonic's childhood friend,but they moved into another house and it is where he is living right now.He met Tails here.Sonic was only 7 when they moved

And now he is an adolescent.He suddenly remembered his past school.It was fine there.But sometimes you know assholes pop out.He was befriended by someone.They became close.It was until he discovered his friend's hobbies.A very unpleasant hobby.When he sat into cafeteria as,he remembered,he saw his friend bought someone with him.He introduced him.The new guys befriended them also

It was the end of the school.He was walking with his new friends.When they asked him,

"Do you want to try something?Something...new?"One of the asked

Sonic doesn't know what it meant

"Here"

A cigarettes.He saw his best friend in the back then turn his gaze into the cigarettes once again

"U-uh..n-no.I-"

"C'mon! Just one try!Wait!Or this?!"The other one asked

It was a drug.Sonic's eyes widened

"C'mon Sonic.That's what we do.Promise,it was fun.You should try.Don't be such a kill joy"His best friend chuckled

Lighting a cigarette before bringing it up to his mouth and blow a smoke

"Not I really don-"

He was pinned to a wall.The persons around them surrounded him.Making sure he can't escape

Sonic panicked.Tears were streaming down his face.He didn't want this.He didn't know if this was the real best friend he knew

His best friend smirked before forcing his mouth to open and brought the cigarette to his mouth

"N-no!Ple-please!"Sonic begged struggling to get out of their grasp

The men around him laugh

"Don't be stubborn.Just one"His 'best friend' said

He felt a sting in his neck.He gasp.He saw a needle

"We want to try our new discovery of drug on you"One of them said.

Sonic's eyes widened.He was shaking.He felt his body felt like burning.Sonic was gasping

"I see...it worked fast"

He didn't know what kind of drug is this.His heart beats fast.He felt someone hold his neck.Sonic sobbed

"Don't tell anyone about this.Okay?"His 'best friend' said before they stood up and walked away

Laughing

Sonic's eye lids feeling heavy.He was struggling to keep him awake...

When Sonic woke up,it was dark.He was still in the same place.He stood up.Crying.Before he could reach his house he stopped sobbing and opened the door

His parents hugged him.His mother caressing his cheeks

"Where have you been?And why are you're eyes red?"Bernadette sakd

Sonic stop the urge to tell his parents what happened.He stop the urge to cry in front of them.Instead,he smiled

"Haha!Just having some time with my best friend and I didn't know it was late.Sorry mom,dad"He lied

His parents just nodded.He walked upstairs and silently sobbed

After that,he was traumatized.He never trusted anyone.And when he met Tails,he was slowly forgetting the horrible memory

Sonic shook his head trying the flashbacks get out of his mind

Even though he met someone like this people,Sonic is still Sonic

He was incredibly innocent despite of what happened
