8.Run and Hide

Skip ride home

We got to Geo's house and nobody was home. 

We were in the kitchen and Geo looked at me. "It doesn't look like anyone's home," he smirked.

He kissed me and kissed him back with a giggle. I felt him smile through the kiss and it made me smile.

He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist. We kissed again and I deepened the kiss.

"Oh and the lovely couple returns. Get a room," Logan said.

Geo put me down and kissed me one last time.

"You guys have fun?" Logan asked.

"Yeah. I had a great time," I looked at Geo waiting for his response.

"Definitely. It was a great," Geo looked at me and smiled.

"Great. Well may I ask what you guys did?" Logan asked.

"Oh nothing just chill out, got to know each other a little bit better." I said.

"We also got noi-nvm," Geo laughed.

"I hate you a lot," I said as I hit Geo in the arm.

"I'm not even going to ask," Logan said.

Geo chuckled and I rolled my eyes.

"So what been going on here?" I asked Logan.

"Oh nothing just the normal," He responded.

"Oh," I said.

"Well were is Waleed?" Geo asked.

"Oh I don't know. He said he would be gone for 20 minutes and it's been about...18," He replied kinda nervously.

"Oh okay," Geo said more like a question.

"I'm kinda hungry," I said.

"You're always hungry," Geo looked at me.

"No I'm not. I've literally been hungry like 2 times," I explained

"Okay calm down it was just a joke," Geo said

"I'm not hype I was just saying," I replied

"Sure," Geo said rasing his eyebrows.

"Ugh whatever."

"Well I'll be in my room. Bye," Logan said.

"Alright," Me and Geo said at the same time.

Me and Geo headed back to his car to get something to eat. We decided to just make it ourselves so we went to the grocery store and got eggs and bacon. 

When we first walk into the store I saw my mom and I ran straight out. Geo ran after me but I ran to the car and hoped in. He got in the car too.

"Um what the hell was that?" Geo asked catching his breath.

"I saw my mom in there," I said catching my breath too.

"Okay so what do we do? Wait till she leaves?"

"Yeah sounds like a good idea,"  I said.

"I was kidding," He said with a straight face.

"I know but I'm not," I said looking out the window for my mom.

"Okay but I'm hungry so what do I do?" He asked.

"..Oh i got it! You go in and get all the stuff while I duck and hide in the car," I said still looking out the window.

"Ugggh okay whatever," Geo rolled his eyes and got out the car and walked in the store.

I sat there staring out of the window for like 7 minutes and then I saw her and my dad walk out. I felt a relief then I saw them walk towards me. I looked over to the driver seat window and I saw that their car was right next to Geo's. I jumped in the back seat so fast and laid as flat as I could. I literally saw the top of her head and i was about to die. I rolled to the floor of the car and laid flat. I heard them close their car doors a felt relieved again. I heard them drive off and I peeked to make sure it was them. It was so I climbed back in the front seat and I saw Geo walking up to the car. He got in the front seat and handed me the bag.

"You had fun playing hide and go seek?" He asked.

"Ha ha ha." I sarcastically laughed. "You know you have a back seat. Why am I holding this bag?" I asked.

"Just in case they fall. Duh."

"Okay whatever," I said.

"Anyway did you see them?" He said teasing me.

"Actually yes I did."

"Oh," He said surprised.

"Yea," I said looking down at my hands.

It was kinda just quiet after that. Like the whole way home. ~•~•~•~•~•~

When we got there I saw Waleed's car. Oh God this is going to get awkward again isn't it? We walked in the house and Waleed was right there, sitting on the couch. He spotted us and he's eyes grew wide.

"Oh hey guys. I didn't know you guys were coming back so early," He got up and hugged me and bro hugged Geo.

"Um yea we didn't bring any clothes so you know-" I said. Waleed kinda seemed off.

"Yeah, yeah you're right," He agreed.

"Everything alright bro?" Geo asked.

"Bro?" Waleed questioned Geo.

"Yeah," Geo said cautiously.

I just looked at them nervously.

"Oh okay I guess. But yes everything's great," Waleed replied.

"Okay good," Geo chuckled under pressure.

"Anyway Courtney...Um why didn't you respond to my text?" Waleed asked.

"What text?" Geo asked me.

"Oh don't act like you don't know. You're probably the reason she didn't text me back and left me on read," Waleed said.

"Actually I don't know what you're talking about," Geo said.

"ACtuLlY I Don'T kNow wHaT yOu aRe tAlKIng ABOut," Waleed mocked.

"I said you're," Geo corrected him.

"I SaiD yOU'Re," Waleed mocked.

"Anyway what about these text?" Geo asked impatiently.

"Okay chill. Waleed texted me when we were at the hotel. That's literally it calm down," I said with my hands up in defense.

"Calm down you literally just got mad about you being hungry," Geo said I was about to say something when he cut me off. "That doesn't matter. What did the text say?" Geo asked.

"Um I don't remember something about I don't things to be awkward let's be friends," I said.

"What it said was: Courtney I don't want things to be awkward between us but I like u and I want us to be something but if you don't want that then friends is what we'll be  with a smiley face emoji and hearts in a circle emoji," Waleed said.

"How the hell did you remember that from the top of your head?" I asked.

"I remember all of our conversation," He winked.

I looked straight at Geo because I know he wasn't going to take that well as anyone in his position would. But as soon as I looked over everything started to move slow-mo. Geo ran to Waleed and tackled him onto the floor. Waleed pushed him off and punched him. I guess Logan heard them because he rushed down the stairs and pulled them off of each other. They started yelling about I don't even know what. It was all kinda blurry. All I know is that I woke up in Geo's bed and he was sitting there watching me.

"Ugh my head," I said rubbing it. It felt like someone banged my head against a wall made of pillows. "What the hell happened?"
