EPILOGUE

Years Later....

"Are you sure?"

"Of course!" You reply with confidence.

"But you just graduated..." Kai looks at the diploma, which is still in your hands. You grin at him. Then you peck him on his lips. He smiles at you and rubs the back of his neck, a habit, you noticed, that he does when he's embarrassed. You shrug happily. "Congratulations again." He says with a smile as he pulls you in for a hug. You hug him back, give him a squeeze, then let go. He gives you a questioning look and you nod again. "But I want to do it right."

"Huh?" This time, you're the one to give him a questioning look. 

He gets down on one knee slowly, face red, looking more embarrassed than ever before. "Jongin!" You put a hand on your mouth in shock as he pulls out the box and opens it.

"Would you...be willing to be with me for the rest of your life?" He smiles up at you. Then he slowly reaches to put your ring on, only to stop and look at your fingers. "You still have this?" He points to the ring he gave to you at the airport that day, many years ago. You nod, grinning madly. 

"Yes. To both questions." He grins back, and takes off the old ring. Then he puts on the new one on your left ring finger; it shines much more brightly than the other one. He kisses your fingers, one by one. 

"I love you." The look he gives you almost melts you.

"I love you too."

Months After That....

"...I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." Was this really happening? You were afraid to ask yourself that. You look up at him, looking handsome and dashing in his classy black tux, and you can feel all the white fabric you have on. The dress was your friend's idea, coincidentially the same friend that you shared a room with back then.

He kisses you slowly, you can feel the smile on his lips. Everyone cheers as you two pull back and give each other shy smiles. You look over at the audience. Your four friends, your family, even Kyungsoo and Taemin. Everyone's here. Your smile widens. 

"Kai." You address your new-husband slowly. "Kim. Jong. In." Each syllable, precise and still, slips out of your mouth.

"Yes, love?" Ah... You almost sink down at that, melting at the delicate choise of words. He's still smiling that angelic smile. You never grow weary of it.

"I love you."

"I know you do." He chuckles. You two step down and start to hug relatives and guests, who keep saying "Congratulations you two!" and "You two look so cute~!" The two of you hold hands the whole time, not letting go, not once. You reach Kyungsoo. He's smiling, in a sad, nostalgic way. 

"Congratulations." He says, then his smile brightens as he looks at your wrist, where you wear the gold bracelet he gave you years ago. "I won't forget you."

You laugh. You know what he's talking about. "I'll be nearby! You have to visit, got that?" You poke him on his chest, jokingly. 

A few minutes later, you two are climbing into a limo, and you throw a bouquet of flowers, not even glancing at who catches it because you are distracted by the man sitting next to you. His hands are on your waist and he hugs you tightly. Then he whispers into your ear and you almost shiver.

"I love you too."
